Larry Under Pressure is located in Birmingham, Alabama. Many of our recipes and techniques are guided by delicious Southern influences. On this channel, we concentrate on cooking delicious food - fast, easy and on a budget. It's important during these times of inflation to get the most out of your grocery dollars, and I share tips and recipes to help you do just that. We keep it simple and easy!!
Most of our recipes are done using different models of the Ninja Foodi & Speedi, The Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 (6 quart) and the Ninja Dual Air Fryer. The Ninja Speedi is definitely my preferred appliance. It is a game changer.

Yes, you're right. The small one I used in the video was perfect for the ingredients. However, you could easily double or triple the recipe and use a bigger cooker. The one I fixed in the video would serve a moderate sized serving with ice cream to 4. Thanks for your question.
Thanks for the question. I don't think it would work very well, unfortunately. From a temperature standpoint, I think it would be fine. However, since this cobbler has to cook from 2 - 3 hours, it would be nearly impossible to nurse a rice cooker along and keep it up to temperature for that long. Once they get to a certain temperature for a preset time, they switch to keep warm. Every time it did that, you would have to switch it back over to the cook setting, assuming the rice cooker would even let you do that. I'm sorry and wish I had some better advice for you, but I appreciate the question. Good luck!!
I agree, the Griddle did the best job of it. Salmon Cakes are a favorite of mine since early childhood 😋, I'm 70ish years now so yes, I like them. When mixing your ingredients using a Potato Masher is perfect for an even consistency mixture. My Mother and Grandmother made their Salmon Patties exactly 💯 like you made yours! Sometimes they would grate fresh Onions into it and as a finishing touch spray each with Lemon Juice or Dark Vinegar to bring out the tasty flavors 😋.
I have the dash griddle & mostly make 1 egg omelets. Great for taking on trips & making my own breakfast in my room. Turns out 3 breakfast sausage links can fit in griddle at once.
How was the consistency of the other two brownies turn out? I ended up having a dark screen after you finished talking about the first one, love your Channel, I’m a new subscriber and I too live in Florida…Jax.
I'm baffled - my speedi hasn't got 'steam and crisp' I totally give up - I've been trawling the internet to find out how to use this wretched thing. Back to the oven for me!
Lift the top lever up. This will activate the LEFT side of the control panel. That is where you will find Speedi Cook, Steam and Crisp, Steam and Bake and more. They show on the.front panel. If the top lever is in the down position, you will only have.access to Air Fry, Bake and other similar functions. Give it a try.
Larry that looks so good! I’ve never tried the herb butter on the steaks after cooking. I’ll have to try the potatoes in the air fryer also. I usually cook them in the microwave or the slow cooker. Thanks for the video!
I have added the link for the gripper spatula for you. You're right, it is VERY handy. It is especially good for flipping sensitive things like "over easy" eggs, pancakes, etc. Also, you can flip things in hot oil without splashing oil all over everywhere. Hope you like as much as I do. Thanks for asking about it.
Thank you for the ideas.. I have lots of them minis..I'm single, so,it's amazing.. Those came out amazing.. Please don't stop.. Keep them coming...I subscribe, immediately..
@@jaynemarie Have you tried making Salmon filet yet? I haven't tried it but I've seen others have success doing. They said to leave the SKIN ON so it doesn't dry out or use a Blackened Rub on it. Both hold in moisture when cooking. Hope this helps.
Good idea to use the pie maker. And it is versatile. I once reheated a brat in mine - plugged into my Jackery in the back end of my car. Just folded it up and stuck it in. I’m gonna try to bake a grain free bread in mine. You’ve inspired me to look for more uses of my pie maker for camping. Thanks.
I was just wondering what you use to lift the crisping tray out. Ninja/shark didn't supply any kind of tool to do that. I am not surprised. The shark vacuum I bought did not come with nor do they make a simple common brush attachment for it. I think they leave things like that out to save money.... I went to the thrift store and got a big fork like you would use to carve a turkey. The first time I used the speedi I opened it after cooking thinking, how am I going to get that out without burning my fingers? Shark/ninja support isn't that good. I called and asked them what the size of the vacuum hose was so I could try to find a compatible brush attachment and... they didn't know. HAHA
I just use a set of rubber tipped tongs like you would use to lift pieces of food. In the center of the rack, there is a little raised piece that makes it easy. I hope this answer helps.
It does matter what spray you use. Dash recommends against sprays with lecithin in it, I believe yours has it. After time, it can gum up the nonstick surface.
I have not had a build up problem at all, and I use the Dash cookers a lot. I don't always use non stick spray, but have had 0 problems with it. Thanks for the question.
I also have a rotisserie, but personally, prefer several aspects of the Ninja. I obviously feel it is a better way, and the appliance offers a LOT more flexibility regarding the spectrum of foods you can prepare with it. In my opinion, it is a game changer. That being said, I truly appreciate your opinion and response.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the Speedi does almost everything GREAT!! My favorite cooking appliance. Stay tuned as I plan to continue doing a lot more demonstrations in the Speedi..
