This is a quick, easy way to make delicious McGriddle like breakfast sandwiches at home. All the ingredients can be kept on-hand so they can be fixed whenever you like without having to go out. You can use virtually the same directions to make an Egg McMuffin sandwich by substituting ingredients consistent with that sandwich.
In this video, we are using the Dash Mini Griddle (www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSVSU1O/r.... The Dash Mini Griddle is not terribly innovative or fancy, but it is inexpensive, quick warming and VERY useful. I use it for several different applications. I use all of the Dash mini appliances (grill, griddle, egg cooker, mini pie maker & mini donut maker).
In this recipe, I have used frozen pancakes for my bread, but you can use whatever you like and make it your own. English muffins work well, but due to their thickness, have to be done one side at the time so they take a little longer. You can also use mini waffles, but they take longer too for the same reason. Make sure you use only thawed, pre-cooked meat for these sandwiches. The meat is not heated enough to go from raw to safe in the time it is in the griddle.
