Did anyone notice that Ian's name starts with and I like Ichabod, Brad's starts with a B like Brom and Katie is a K like Katrina? Mirroring the Washington Irving story?
1:08 Good guess. I thought it was about an animal shedding fur. 3:54 Good point. I don't know what he expected. 7:21 True. That confused me too. 7:48 LOL! Good response 11:21 I agree. 11:57 Good guess I agree with you. Your feelings about this episode are the same as mine and you explained it very well.
3:24 Good guess. I thought she had inadvertently made Night Night Man become real. Like the boy in the "Tangled Web" episode of the Nightmare Room, I thought she had the power to make her lies come true. But I was wrong. This is one of my favorite episodes. Great twist. I didn't see it coming.
0:35 Interesting. That guess was correct. However, the Haunting Hour has an episode with the same title. Which means that if you had continued reacting to that show, you'd have the same guess for that episode's plot, and you would have been wrong. 2:24 LOL! 3:29 Not your best guess, but at least we know you are indeed seeing this for the first time. Yeah, this is one of my lesser favorites. Spud isn't the problem though. I believe we just assume he's a smart kid. Normal humans will be suspicious about someone with no mouth and won't want to be friends with him. So, the alien having no mouth means that he will have to be alone in the woods forever.
Good guess for what the episode will be about before watching it. 1:52 The actress is not the problem. In fact she's doing a great job. She's supposed to make you feel like saying what you said. 6:24 Yup, if they were smart, they'd return to their vehicle, where there might be a signal, and then call the police. 9:33 Unintelligent people always think that bad stuff happens to other people, but would never happen to them. That's what you're seeing here: the girls are confident that they will not get infected because... well, they just think it would never happen to them. 10:10 Good guess. I didn't pick up on that. 10:46 I'd already guessed the answer to that by this point. Anyway, it's revealed at the end. They were all infected with the moss and they were wandering in the woods, singing that tune for all those years. They couldn't leave the woods. The moss was controlling them and the moss didn't want to leave the woods. They were finally cured by the loud music that these new women played for them. 16:35 Yes, Haunting Hour did this a few times. The premise of this episode is kind of stupid. The leader takes the girls somewhere that no one has ever survived? If no one has ever survived there, maybe it's not a good idea to take them there. I get that she wants them to prove their bravery to earn their bravery badge, but there's a fine line between bravery and stupidity. Taking the girls somewhere that no one has ever survived without any weapon or something that might fight off whatever is out there... I'd say that's in the "Stupidity" category. And the girls themselves weren't too smart too, for agreeing to do this, except the main one whose parents forced her. She's the only smart one. Another stupid thing: "Turn back now" was written on the BACK of the sign, not on the front and "Do not open" was written at the bottom of the box, not the top. They write these things where no one will see them. Despite my complaints, I liked the episode. It was one of the creepiest and most memorable ones. It's hard to forget the "La la la la la" parody of "Ring around the rosie." The rock music that repelled the moss was fantastic.
A problem I have with this episode, it's not very original. It's basically a copy of the Haunting Hour episode "Intruders." Some minor details are changed, but the basic story is mostly the same.
0:48 Me too Yes, I also like the school setting for a horror show 1:55 Most episodes of horror shows deal with unpopular kids. Most kids either are unpopular or feel like they are, so that's how you make shows that are relatable to most people. 3:26 Yeah, I agree with you. I get nervous way too easily and I overthink a lot of things. I can't just act on instinct. 3:53 Good prediction! 4:06 Not 100% accurate, but good prediction because you were on the right track. I was lost at this point in the story when I first saw this. 4:54 Good point! But I think his instincts told him she was probably underwater that whole time. He knew she was adopted. This might be when he first realizes that not only is she adopted, but she is non-human. 5:15 LOL! Good response 5:54 She was covered in seaweed. That wouldn't happen if she was just left on the beach. She'd have to be in the ocean for that to happen. And she couldn't have just been left in the ocean, or she'd drown. And I think they could sense that she wasn't an ordinary human. 6:30 She may have always had those powers and she just didn't know it. 6:40 You got it! I wouldn't have guessed that. 7:54 For once, you made a wrong prediction! But nobody's perfect. 9:11 Good guess!
3:39 Wow, good observation! I did not pick up on that. 5:50 I don't know how you guessed that, but great observation! 7:05 Good question! 8:51 Very true. I've spent most of my adulthood digging up gamed I used to play as a kid. It's awesome. It's like time-traveling back to the past. Except I have an adult understanding of the games, which I didn't have before, so it's even better. Yeah, I typically don't like time travel episodes either. Time travel in general just never makes sense. And you make a lot of excellent points about all the changes that Red could have inadvertently caused by time-traveling. This episode is a nice episode. Because Red went back in time and fixed his father's life. He brought his mom back into the family and he let his aunt know that Red is okay. But there could be a lot of other effects of his time-altering that we didn't see. Plus, I didn't understand the ball. Why did it get smaller? Why did it move? Why did it disappear in the well and then reappear? And the message wasn't well-executed. The father didn't fix his own life: his son fixed it. Decent episode but not one of my favorites.
5:40 He's a phone that has feelings. He wants a girl. Now he has Kim and he has fallen in love with her so he wants to be with her forever. 6:29 That depends on whether or not they bought their phone from that company. I don't think we know if they did. 10:18 You'd think so, but these kids aren't very smart. I agree, I don't think the friend's way of trying to "Free" Kim was very well thought-out. But she was all in all a nice friend who didn't deserve to be dumped by the protagonist. And you make a good point that she should have just tried to make new friends instead of trying to get Kim back. But I think the main character was a nice person. She did some bad stuff , but it was only to appease Marti so he doesn't kill her. I thought she dug up Marti to destroy him forever by breaking him with the hammer. I might be wrong. It's possible that she just brought Marti back and decided to live the rest of her life under his control. This is one of my favorite episodes. It teaches multiple life lessons. It teaches people not to let social media and technology ruin their lives. It teaches about abusive relationships. It teaches that popularity is overrated. The main character didn't make the best choices but we are meant to learn from her mistakes. And I've never seen a horror show episode with a sentient phone as the villain, so that's new. The Haunting Hour had a sentient house and a sentient RV, but not a sentient phone.
Good job predicting what the episode was going to be about before you saw it. Also good job guessing who the troll was before it was revealed. Also good job dancing to the death metal music. Also good job predicting how the solo performance would go. I thought the solo performance would go well and he'd save himself. Trolls are just sick people who get pleasure from making other people miserable. They deserve what this guy got and this prevents him from hurting any more people.
I was a Goosebumps child too. That got me interested in similar shows. This is one of them. It's a good one. One flaw with the show: The Curious. He's kinda pointless. He's not really a bad thing, but I don't see the point. You have a limited amount of time to tell the story and the scenes with him cut into the time... and we can get the moral of the story and the gist of the episode without the Curious and the narration. 5:28 I don't think the police can handle a supernatural puppet. Bullets probably won't harm it, and the police don't know what they're up against with this puppet. And that assumes that the police would believe there's an evil puppet that came to life, which they wouldn't. This was a great episode to start with. Creepy dolls are always the most popular villains. There was Chucky. Then there was Slappy. Then there was Buddy in "The Nightmare Room." Then there was Lily D. And now we got Mr. Blackteeth. The tradition continues. Mr. Blackteeth is a memorable villain in his own right without being a rip off of the previous ones. Aside from the doll: there's also some valuable lessons in this episode. First of all, appreciate what your parents do for you. They are trying their best and they know what's best for you better than you do because they have more life experience and wisdom than you do. I know it's exciting to want to run the house, but it will backfire because you don't know what you're doing. Things will get worse that way. Another lesson: don't care what other people think. This girl hated her parents because she thought that they were embarrassing her and that was the reason she was being bullied. But, the bully was just a bully and she was going to bully the protagonist no matter what. She shouldn't have gone to the bully's party and she should have cut the bully out of her life as much as possible. Just be yourself and surround yourself with supportive people. Her parents were supportive people. The bully was not. Lastly, don't trust a strange boy or a creepy doll. You want your first episode to be one of the strongest ones to get as many people hooked as possible. Mission accomplished with Creeped Out.
Good job predicting the plot of the episode before seeing it. You nailed it. It reminds me of the Goosebumps episode "Strained Peas." It's a downer ending, but I'm fine with that. The occasional downer ending keeps you on your toes. Most "Creeped Out" episodes have happy endings. They need an even mix of endings. A horror show can't be very good if it's all happy endings I'm glad you had this episode here. This is the only place I could watch it. Dailymotion sometimes lies about what episodes they have. They have a video titled "Creeped Out s02 e07" but it's actually "Splinta Claws" which is the 10th episode. I couldn't find this episode there: only here.
It was kind of creepy of seeing hand writing help me backwards all over the bedroom wall in the lonely ghost episode neither Beth or Amanda was responsible
Naaaah... People with microphones stating an opinion as the truth... Completely disagree. For me the story has great elements and the episode as a whole is very nice.
