This video was so comprehensive, and absolutely essential for serious shoppers. We, are so looking forward to the new model year video. The XLMB has beat out _all others_ that we've looked at so far.
Sharp van I had a 84 and I wish to God I kept it. You did a great job I couldn't have done any better myself if I tried. I probably couldn't even done it myself
Simply love it! I have a 2011 and want a 2018 MB! Pleasure-Way really know their stuff. Thank you for the wonderful customer service as well. Best Regards, Faye
Wow! Pleasure Way sure builds a solid coach. I love the attention to detail on their models. So many RV companies have cheapened out, yet still ask over 100k, but they don’t come close to the quality of Pleasure Way.
I’m impressed with all the updates! I have 2011 Pleasure-Way and simply love it! Thank you for making a quality Motor Coach. I will always be a customer. I will get a Murphy Bed version next. Sincerely, Faye aka: MommaFaye
Looking forward to seeing the XLMB on the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz chassis. May I suggest larger brake lights along with a third high mounted brake light? I've made a living driving trucks for 34 years and being highly visible, not just blending with the traffic, can be the only protection you may have at times.
a small suggestion if it makes any sense: instead of having a piece of corian covering the sink, why not have it in a wood cutting board material? You can work on the surface directly.
M.B. 2019 is going with a new Gas Engine. The problem with Diesel,,is that you can't take any pretty side roads or off the main stream bc not every small town gas station carry's Diesel fuel,, so your are mainly stuck with Express & Highway traveling. That will also change the market price for MB RV's,, hopefully the MSR price's will come down. Fingers crossed XX.:)
You two rock! I'm building my own full sized, walk in travel trailer and you two add boost to finishing the project. Can you hear Willy in the background singing "On the road again"?
I want to use foam to make a camper shell streamline camper shell cake bring down weight and I'm going to use the you know the screen and the gripper and all that but the toothpicks in the the sheetrock screws makes a lot of sense cuz it got real long one so you could actually go in a diagonal and really get a lot of contact surface there plus I guess you could glue it too...right
I wish there was a quiz where we answer some questions and we get our pleasure way motor home based on our preferences and then they make it based on the style you like...I want a Japanese Scooby-Doo retro look with some cherry wood but with large storage top and bottom sleeping quarters because who doesn’t want a loft area...maybe a washer and dryer sizable and not heavy...and we choose our color...I call mine the pleasure way Lorelei colors Lilac and Midnight blue
This RV is well laid out and has all the systems a couple would need for travel. Only one major problem. The 2018 Dodge Ram was voted the least reliable vehicle by at least one site. Will probably be a deal breaker for me.
Good videos but the presentation would be better if you start with one area and go clockwise or something. Starting with the control panel, then the awning, then the murphy bed doesn't flow well.
OK, what is the warranty period and how many service locations within the USA ??!!! Leisure Travel Vans look awesome too, but I read horror stories on warranty work !!!!
The warranty period really means little. You can have a five-year new RV warranty, and after six months of use if your coach breaks down you may wait weeks or months for parts to get it repaired. If you're on the road, you're stuck. There's no reimbursement for that.
If you look closely, the bed folds up against the wall, but leaves a gap large enough for the window valance and blinds. There appears to be at least 3 or 4 inches of depth to either side of the window. I don't know what kind of pillows wouldn't fit in that area... even if you had four pillows, you could toss two of them at the foot of the bed before folding it in. I don't see this as a problem at all.
Propane is Cheaper and there is very little Exercise Time needed and "NO Gummed Up Fuel Filter's or Caborator's"... Just change their Oil with Mobile 1 and a NAPA Oil Filter and they will perform forever... And the Shelf Life of "Propane" is Endless !!!
I would love to have one BUT I want a Ram diesel chassis,,, Also the price tag I feel is a bit unreal... I've seen larger RV's go for less.... I just don't understand why a smaller RV cost more than a larger class C... The ones I've seen cost more than my 3,250sq.ft. house... Some day I'll find a used one for a good price. I always fell sorry for the guy that bought new and the minute they drive it off the lot he looses around thousands of what he paid for it... That's just how it's been for many years. That's the new vehicle market... Yes I'm in my golden years of life and I will be selling my home and going full time on the road just waiting on my younger wife to get to where she can retire. I retired back in 2009... So I wait... LOL,LOL. It will be another 4 to 5 years I'm sure by then there will be plenty of used class B's and smaller class C's up for sale... Nice RV y'all make that's for sure... And I'm sure there are some people who cab afford to pay the price y'all want for them. I'm just not one of them.... Keep up the find work y'all do... Be blessed... BBE..
Good Point Amy... With the Full Molded Fiberglass Rear Cap they could change its "Fiberglass Mold" to have the Rear Camera "Indentation"... It would be a much better Smoother/Cleaner Look...
Do you not believe that most folks ...for peace of mind would like a full spectrum rear camera. Not everyone drives their vehicles with a competent level of driver acuity! PS - the ladies always like a full bathroom. Very attractive!
An Oven is Old School/Obsolete... Learn how to use a "Convection Micro Wave" and you will never go back to an Oven... With NO Oven you have More Storage...
I guess what I find that makes people nervous about buying an RV are the LEMON LAWS that NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT. Yes it might be a quality unit. But if it’s not... tough shit! You are screwed. We will keep your paid for unit for 6 months to a years to fix what we did wrong and there’s NOTHING you can do about because it’s an RV... not a car Lemon Laws!?! I would rather have a van and build it out. I am so scared to buy an RV from any company.
Even with a solid warranty, it could take you weeks or months to get something fixed, and you're without your new RV for the entire time. Pretty tough if you're on the road!
You're thr first person that I've heard say that, I've heard nothing but great things about Mercedes, Other than there is a lack of dealerships out in the sticks.
Nocturnal I really am amazed with Pleasure Way Quality and Customer support, They are the Prevost of the under 40 ft. RVs . It would be great to see chassis choices for all models..
I almost agree with you, owned a Sprinter 4x4 for 3 years now and we've had some issues. Water coming in, needed a new front driveshaft, sliding. door broke, seatbelt beeping non stop etc... But there's no better options if you like a thong weight of 600 pounds. Fords are way worse and the dodge looks great on the inside, but as usual, its Dodge.
Too big, too complicated, too many features I don't want, too expensive. Otherwise, perfect! At least the bathroom is where it should be, in the back, it is, however, way too big.
