This beautiful van would be perfect if it had a bathroom sink! The bed length is great for tall people, but I believe they could have designed the bathroom to be slightly roomier by adding a few inches coming out into the center, pushing back the fridge and cabinet a few inches, and angling the toilet in the corner. A corner sink could fit, and it would add a bit more space to move. I prefer gas engines, and especially like the Ford chassis, why not offer in a 4x4? We don't plan on being off road, but have definitely experienced road conditions that called for 4x4 ability! The Airstream Interstate 19 is nice- we don't think the price is justified, and the bathroom is too "plasticky ". We are currently looking to buy, and we think Pleasureway is the best of the best!
I don;t understand why some people think they need a bathroom sing in a tiny van. Just put some sanitizer in the bathroom or use the galley sink. It's really not that big of a deal.
9:48 Love everything about this 19’RV but the WET BATH IS A DRAWBACK! Can you please redesign this bathroom with a shower wall like the Roadtrek Pivot? Use a wall instead of plastic shower curtains as well. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
We are looking for a 19’ RV with DRY BATH (separate toilet and shower) like the Roadtrek Pilot and a drop down bed from the ceiling like the Wingamm Oasi. Can you design a 19’ RV van with these features?🙏🙏🙏🙏
I like on/off switches. Other than having to use an app/touch screen to control everything, it's close to what we're looking for. I'm leaning toward wanting the platform based on the AWD option.
I have a 2018 Pleasure Way C Class RV and I was surprised that you stopped making them. I then saw that Advanced RV started making the Class C RV ... ?
Please consider incorporation of a cassette toilet. I very much liked the one in my Jayco Terrain but will never again go with anything built on a Mercedes Sprinter. Thank you for listening
At about the 12:30 of your video I was about to ask a question and also mention that I have email corresponded with Doug about the upcoming event show in Hershey, Pennsylvania and 10 seconds later, he stepped into your video! Too funny. It is clear that a great amount of thought goes into your builds. Sir, I was curious as to why you done have a separate facet for filtered water. I am most intent in the ontour 2.2 and also curious to learn about any changes to the 2022 vs 2023 models, and if out there, the same for the 2023 vs the 2024 models. Thank you, be and well.
I love PW's build quality and warranty which are the best in the industry, but I wish they offered more modern systems in addition to the great features they do offer, especially considering the price of these vans (this Ontour 2.0 is nearly $170k). I absolutely do not want a generator or propane at all. I'd much rather have a larger 500+ amp hr battery, external solar port for expanded charging while camped, 3000+ watt inverter, all electric systems (except for chassis fueled Truma heat and hot water). I'd also like to see better chassis options, like LED headlights, extended range fuel tank, more color choices, etc. Plus I wish they would get rid of the ugly cutouts all over the van body and downsize or eliminate the bulky side steps. These are perhaps my biggest dislikes with PW vans. The utility cutouts ruin the van's aesthetics and the huge sidesteps significantly reduce ground clearance, which is important if you want to do even mild off-roading, and they too are ugly, in my opinion. Again, I do appreciate PW's attention to quality which is SO rare in the pathetic RV industry, but I still don't think I would buy one of their vans as they are currently offered when I can spend maybe 30k more and get a custom build exactly the way I want it.
Nice presentation. We have a 45' Newmar King Aire and recently been thinking of buying a Leisure Wonder to use as a tow vehicle so we can take our dogs with us instead of leaving them in the coach when we go touring. I just ran across this video and had not considered Pleasure-way before (don't want diesel) but the Ontour seems to be a better option than the Leisure Wonder. I really like the fact that it is under 20'. I do have a couple questions - are leveling jacks available? Is it capable of being towed and is the hardware available (I have 20,000lb towing capacity)? Can it be fitted with an Airforce One braking system? Will I need a transmission pump? Thanks for opening my eyes to a possibly better solution.
Really good design. Main dislike was the lack of at least a flip down sink in the bathroom, like so many Class B's have. Second dislike is the fact it is not more off-road friendly, since so many campsites are off dirt, gravel, or hilly roads. Third is just a preference for the retractable accordion screen doors over the magnet kind. Otherwise, very nice travel van.
Such a brilliant build why would you chinch out on the power with only 200amp hours?? Nobody plugs in and camps with a Class B, they should have a bare minimum of 400amp hours with 6-800 as a standard now.
9:46 Not a fan of wet bath where you shower on top of the toilet. Please come up with a design which smartly separates the shower and keeping the toilet dry. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@pleasureway that’s a shame….seems to be a feature more and more popular in the class B market. I think a black tank flush makes it easier to maintain tank sensors.
