Wow! Didn't recognize them in the 90s. Great song, great voice! Makes me wanna go back and live it all again, but more intense! Oh the girls back then, the festivals, the music...! 😊
As a drummer, my take is that even though the drum patterns here aren’t the most complicated they are one of the best of the grunge era, if not in rock music overall. Simple and catchy is always best.
I saw and was able to talk to Mark a few times on his solo tours. He would not even acknowledge the trees or talk about they're music ..........what a fucking tortured soul.......
Went to college in Ellensburg in the early 2000’s. Remember those rodeo grounds. There was still a music scene then but don’t think anyone I saw ever got a record deal. I liked that town…but I could see when Mark was there in the 70’s and 80’s it being a pretty bleak outlook for a local. His autobiography makes it pretty clear.
SUCH A GREAT SONG I HERD IT IN MEXICO IN 95 I DIDNT EVEN KNOW ENGLISH YET. I THOUGHT THEY WERE SUPERSTARS THEN I FOUND OUT THEY WERE A ONE HIT WONDER. THIS SONG IS PERFECT
