I got one also my 1.0 when I turn the clicker every few turns it sounds weird is that cause I have no oil on the fork atm the is before filling them up
Bro this is horrible. I had a similar experience with a shop in Arlington, WA called Powerstroke Customs. I normally do all my own work, but I was working 80 hours a week and wanted to save myself some time and sent my 6.0 to this shop to have my fuel system overhauled. It cost me 3k and it took me 10 hours to redo all the mechanical and electrical work that they fucked up. I would have taken the shop owner to civil court to get my money and time back, but it would have costed me more than what I lost. But, I fixed it all up and now I've got almost 300k miles on my block and stock trans. Runs like a dream!
Oh? I thought the TC1000 was only for the ultra bee... Interesting... Well TC1000, TM25, custom 84v 35ah battery here I come, rooting for 30kw or higher haha
I'm going from a stock surron to that so I think I need to prepare myself from 3kw to 30kw, it's gonna be nuts and I already find the stock power pretty good so 9x the stock power is gonna be scary or even 10x the power if I get 33kw out of a 84v
Brother, I wished I watched your video first, before brute forcing it on one of mine using jet lighter. It is not perfect, but damn I never knew a plastic can withstand such high temperature. Thanks for enlightening me to do better in another remaining unit. This is great.
It’s pretty much just the reverse of installing the lift. So it really depends on the lift kit I know that seems like a silly answer. But it’s truly not bad. Depending on the lift of course. Just pretty much removing and replacing everything with factory components. Thats a huge plus to all of the lifts I install and promote as being “bolt on” which means they require some drilling and maybe trimming of certain things but nothing along the lines of welding brackets to frame or cutting things that can’t be replaced so one can always go back to OEM suspension. So radius arms , brake lines , drag link , pitman arm , & track bar with track bar bracket would all get replaced with oem / oem replacement parts…. Hope this helps ! Thanks for watching.
Great video! I have a question for ya. I bought the belt drive upgrade on my Surron not thinking about making upgrades like this later. So my worry is if I upgrade my motor, control & put on a 72 volt battery will that belt be able to handle it? I'm no pro at riding, decently conservative driver & never jump over a few feet or really hard on my bike so should that belt hold up or would I need to convert it back to a chain. I understand belts will need replacement every once & a while but would those upgrades just be too much or should I be okay?! Thanks for your time, I sure appreciate it 😊
@@Jay-qq7kp the main thing I’ve noticed with keeping a belt drive is if you do ever jump do not land on the throttle. So like if your in the air jumping let off the throttle before you hit the ground and then get back on it after you’ve hit the ground. I have ran both belt drive and chain drive on 72v. & I truly like belt drive better just cause it’s quieter & it lasts great. Especially if you upgrade to the gates gt4 belt I believe it’s called. Grit shift does carry them. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching !
@@JUSTINHAWKSMITH bro thanks so much for the info!! That makes a lot of sense about the throttle on jumps and makes me feel much better about doing those upgrades and being able to keep my belt drive... I've grown to love it lol. I also have the Eride pross and for a straight out of the box bike it's so fun & I'll probably upgrade it where more parts come out for it. But the feel & ease of a Surron are just so nice/ comfortable that I think I'll be fixing it up especially knowing about the belt! I really appreciate it man, love you videos 🫡🤙
I have a torp tm25 and tc1000 and have put about 200 miles on the setup and have yet to break my belt that has about 550 miles on it and i ride it full power most of the time.
Are you still running this? I just pulled mine out and I'm just cleaning it BUT I would love to get the new KC Jetfire Stage 1 Turbo (61/64) - 6.0 Powerstroke (2003-2007)?? Any thoughts on that turbo??
I have this controller with a 64tooth controller and when it's on max power with throttle curve on the most aggressive, one little twist of the throttle it literally almost flips the bike LOL
as unpractical the hood stack used to be when I had it , it was so cool. Miss it sometimes. I wouldn’t necessarily call it counter intuitive, but definitely it was not practical. & I hate the manual fan clutch it was so loud always running. Definitley robbed power not that I cared, but it did cool the truck better. Thanks for watching anyway even if it was a very counter intuitive video.
Just installed apex with sx dome on my 22 YZ250 X. It cleaned up power delivery big time. It used to spudder at 50% throttle, no more! I’m running apex head with smart carb and GYTR weighted flywheel. Bike rips now.
Hi Justin, have you ever worked on a taillight of a Mazda 3, 4th generation (2019 and above)? I want to replace some dead LEDs, but I don't know if the lens can be separated from the assembly.
I had my fastace axl13 seals replaced by a professional using the same seals and they’re still leaking. Do you know what that could be? They’re also a lot stiffer now and painful on my wrist off road
@@loopholeculture sounds like the professional wasn’t so professional. Possibly installed seals upside down , or cut the seal upon install. As far as stiff maybe messed with the clickers a bit , or too much oil in the forks. Few possibilities there. Good luck !
