Hi Joey, I was having lots of issues digesting all foods back then, now I eat pretty much any food. The thing that I focused on was getting the digestive system itself working better, with this functional neurology approach, so that appropriate blood flow, peristalsis, pH levels etc.. were all restored. You might be having issues digesting certain types of meat because there's abnormalities with some of the above factors - in that case it might be useful exploring this brain-based approach a bit deeper

I’ve been aware of hydrogen peroxide for many years and saw lots of clips on it back then on RU-vid. Looks like they removed most of those clips. RU-vid used to be a great (and fun) place to learn. No more.

Funny you should say that. This video has been live for multiple years and just last week RU-vid took it down because the term 'consuming hydrogen peroxide' was mentioned in it. I've since managed to get it back up, but I've had to clip that part out of the video!

What's your opinion of hyperbaric oxygen treatments? I know it's used for people who have experienced brain trauma, like childhood drowning, and hyperbaric oxygen is also used for wound healing. -I tried some hyperbaric oxygen treatments during a recent flare from ulcerative colitis, and my symptoms improved, but not enough to get out of the flare. The downside of hyperbaric oxygen treatments is that they are expensive and time consuming. Perhaps if I had done more treatments AND combined them with a local treatment, then I would have had success. (Prednisone and mesalamine enemas got me out of my flare.) Your ideas are interesting!
@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 3 дня назад
I think Hyperbaric oxygen is something that could be used as a useful tool alongside other therapies, but I highly doubt it's something that'll offer you long-term symptomatic alleviation Mark, because it just isn't a very targeted approach. Why I'm such a fan of functional neurology is because the in-person assessment allows the practitioner to identify the specific area of dysfunction/weakness within the brain & nervous system and prescribe very targeted exercises to improve it. Once you understand this it really makes sense as to why all these widespread treatment options never provide you with lasting results.

Hello. I bought 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Does anyone know how to calculate how many drops you should add to the 6-8 ounces of water. According to the book you should use 35 percent food grade hydrogen peroxide.
@theoddfather8782

The book recommends starting with 3 drops in 6 to 8 ounces of water and adding 1 drop a day till you get to 25 drops, then decrease by one drop a day back down to 3 drops which you continue as maintenance. BTW you’re supposed to drink the mix 3 times a day, 1 hour before meals or 3 hours after.

@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 16 дней назад
I appreciate your feedback and will take that into account hassan. The reason for the price is because within the course there's over 3 years worth of intense research into this topic, approximately 20 pieces of complex literature condensed into an easily digestible format and mixed in with that is all the information I gained from seeing and being treated by one of (what I would consider) the best teams in the world in rehabilitating the body back from a dysfunctional state. Basically what spent me hundreds of hours to figure out, I've presented in a way where you should acquire that same info within 5 hours. I spent a lot of time building the course and I would genuinely consider it a life-changing product - my hope is that whoever consumes it, it changes their whole paradigm towards their chronic condition forever, and that they're finally able to make significant long-term progress with their recovery by adopting the information. However I will definitely take your point onboard and consider the price moving into the future.

There are different types of pots. I'm sure you know this like with hypogenergic pots. The Blood Pressure raises upon standing instead of decreasing and some patients with pots Blood Pressure doesn't change at all. I noticed you're from England I assume in America. Maybe the criteria for diagnosis might be slightly different.
@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 16 дней назад
Hey, yeah I'm from England, but I did visit a clinic in the US last year to get help with treating my Dysautonomia/POTS; I made a recent video documenting the whole experience if you wanted to check that out. I actually believe the opposite is true when it comes to hyper-adrenergic pots; because a similar thing was happening in my case and the team in the states managed to clear it up for me. Basically as soon as you stand upright there's a slight dip in blood pressure (most likely due to vestibular hypofunction), and then in order to compensate for that drop (to send adequate amounts of blood to the head), the brain signals to get the heart to beat faster, which then artificially raises blood pressure, and that gives us the idea that our blood pressure is increasing upon standing, which it is, but only because the inbuilt mechanism responsible for detecting the positional change (vestibular organs) aren't sufficiently firing up to the standards that they should be. So blood pressure ends up appearing increased, but it actually comes about as a result of a marginal decrease in blood pressure + a compensatory response from the body. If our vestibular system was working well, it should be able to sense the positional change instantaneously and keep blood pressure very stable, so that no compensatory increase in heart rate is necessary. Hope that makes sense!

Chris you think UC & IBD could be linked to neurological disorders, how can we test for this without a state visit? I'm sure the nhs aren't looking at this? I could get my BP, blood o2 and pulse taken standing, sitting and lying I suppose. I work nights and days doesn't help to be honest but I have no choice. Apologies for random questions but what are your thoughts on FMT?
@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 23 дня назад
I think they could be linked to a neurological dysfunction John, I made a video a couple of years ago with some evidence behind this possibility. There are a few chiropractic neurologists in the UK that might be able to give you another point of view, although they don't have the facilities that some of the clinics do in the states - you can search for them on acnb.org I think FMT could be helpful, and has proven to be helpful for certain people with bacterial infections like C.Diff, but I personally don't think it would be a long-term solution for IBD; because I think this is linked more to immune dysregulation than an infection

Totally related to this believer - her body is most likely struggling to regulate itself efficiently, causing tonnes of adaptations to occur internally, which uses up tonnes of energy and subsequently leaves her with very little energy to go about her day with. This is what was going on with me and it was only until I had a thorough neurological examination and worked on fine-tuning the under-functioning neuronal pathways that were identified, that I started to notice real improvements with how far I was capable of pushing my body within a given day (and in it's ability to bounce back/recover)

If you had a structural problem, wouldn’t you realize that? I would think if it was something out of place in your spine, your back would be hurting or issues with that would give you a clue? And if that’s the case and it is structural, would a visit to the chiropractor possibly fix your issue? Even if it had to do with your vagus nerve?
@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 29 дней назад
Hey believer, this is a pretty old video of mine and I've definitely picked up some knowledge since. Sometimes I think that structural abnormalities with the positioning of the spinal cord can create an instability/precursor that can then make the individual less resilient when they eventually encounter a major stressor (infection, trauma, concussion etc..) that can ultimately be the trigger that creates functional issues within the body. Sometimes a chiropractor can help, but because there's strong link between the way the brain is firing and postural control, I believe a chiropractic neurologist would be able to more accurately identify the dysfunctional pathways that need to be addressed. I like to see the spine as a reflection of the way the brain is functioning, rather than thinking that spinal alignment itself is the cause for chronic symptoms.

@@therealsugarking cortisol in the morning is a normal response from the human body however if the number is chronically elevated outside of the recommended range, it could be due to higher neuronal activity in the hypothalamus, which could be because there is a lack of inhibition being sent to it from the cortex - this is very much linked to what I'm saying in this video and on basically all of my new videos; fine-tune the sensory information coming into the cortex, and then it in turn will calm down the activity within the rest of the brain

Have you experimented with Thiamine?
@ChrisGascoigne1
@ChrisGascoigne1 Месяц назад
Hey Robbo, yes I tried the thiamine protocol a few years ago after reading Dr Lonsdale's book, it didn't do anything for me unfortunately. I came to learn a few years later that neural networks require three things to survive (& re-grow) - glucose, oxygen and appropriate stimulation. Whilst I understand the concept that thiamine has impacts on cellular energy metabolism and can support glucose and oxygen production, the issue (and the reason I wasn't making any real progress in my own situation) was because I wasn't appropriately stimulating the hypotonic sensory systems - ones that I was eventually able to identify last year through extensive neurological testing. Stimulating these systems was similar to exercising a particular muscle at the gym, where I was given very targeted neurological exercises to send oxygenated blood to that region, in order to encourage neuroplasticity/neuronal regrowth. That was the missing piece of the puzzle for me
