It brings a lot of relief to hear you have come around to this understanding. I have felt this way about my symptoms for so long now, but I can't quite figure out how to rewire my brain. Did you go somewhere where they analyzed your brain and nervous system? I am a big believer in Dispenza's work, as well as most aspects of GNM. But I haven't figured out a protocol I can actually use...

Further, the course does not mention Crohn’s, colitis or IBD but isn’t that what you recovered from?

Hey Ryan thanks for your comment mate. Yeah I've researched this brain and nervous system approach for close to 3 years now, reading multiple complex health books and it allowed me to make the link between my symptoms and finally get the help I needed to make significant lasting improvements. I ended up travelling to the States to see a team in person who carried out extensive neurological testing and provided a very tailored rehabilitation plan for me. I was assessed by them every day monday-friday for 3 weeks. At the end of this I felt so much better and many of my vitals started to stabilise/come back to within a much more normal range. I then continued with the daily neurological exercises they prescribed for me back home; and since I've been back, I've gone from strength to strength. I made a 3 and a half hour video about 8 months ago that documents the whole experience, which is definitely worth a watch if you wanted to understand it better; that's on my youtube channel. What I was having done was known as Functional Neurology/Functional Neurological Rehabilitation - It's basically the most targeted form of identifying where in the brain the issue lies (or which sensory pathway feeding into the brain is dysfunctional) and then training that region back to functioning as it was originally designed to function. In my view, it's by far the most superior approach to addressing any neurological abnormalities that may be present, because the diagnostic measures that are carried out just can't be replicated by anyone online through a screen. This is the exact reason why I personally shied away from any 'one-size-fits-all' programme that was promoting re-wiring the brain. Dysfunctions with sensory systems delivering information to the brain are so specific based on the findings from the examination, that a blanket solution just isn't viable in my eyes. It can be helpful, but it will never address the root cause of the problem. To answer your other question - yes I was originally diagnosed with UC in 2013, but then had my colon removed in 2014. Later down the line I then went on to develop symptoms that more-so resembled POTS/Dysautonomia - although I would say there are some overlaps with these conditions. With that in mind I decided to make the course more so for those people who I know I can help based on my own experiences, which primarily are those with Autonomic issues. However what I will say is that my digestion has significantly improved from doing this; it feels much smoother and I barely get any of the severe cramps that I was dealing with before; I'm not aware of what my immune markers are, but I assume they must've improved considering the improvement of my physical state as a whole. I strongly believe the information within the course and Functional Neurological Rehab will greatly benefit anyone with long-standing digestive issues, mainly due to the Digestive system and immune system's link to the Autonomic nervous system, which is mediated by certain areas of the brain. I hope that clears some things up, feel free to email me if you've got any other questions, chris_unbeatableblueprint@yahoo.com

@@ChrisGascoigne1 Chris, Your response is extremely appreciated. The lengths you go to explain your prior circumstances and what brought you to where you are today, are greatly appreciated. It’s been 15 years for me, on and off with UC, and it’s like you said, there are times I feel like I’m so close and on the right path, but things come back. I became a certified nutritionist after getting obsessed with food and diet, then I started exploring the emotional/neurological roots and more of a GNM style approach. You’re right. There’s a clear underlying reason why our friends can treat their bodies like crap and not pay nearly as much as us. I have noticed how sensitive I am to all stimuli, not just food, and that can’t be a coincidence! I watched a lot of your videos a while back on my journey so it’s good to see you back with a whole new lease on life. I am also trying to break out into the coaching/mentorship space but I’ve always held back from giving direct advice because it’s never that simple. I look forward to watching the video that details your journey. Thanks again for the advice and feedback. Wishing you full health ahead and the very best in your journey.

No worries at all Ryan, I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. Definitely I feel like we all go through that, where we feel better for a period of time and then the symptoms start to creep back in - I think what most of us would admit, is that our health never truly gets back to the levels it was before (where our health never really crossed our mind). For me the whole game changed when I found out the origin of what was creating my multitude of symptoms and then experiencing the positive effects from actually addressing that, both clinically and in my all-round energy levels/levels of symptomatology. I'm glad that you're onboard with the neurology-based stuff too, it really helps to explain connections going on within our body, and why symptoms typically tend to manifest alongside one another. I had a little look on the GNM website a while back, it just doesn't measure up to the technicality of functional neurology in my opinion - If every chronic condition had a trauma/emotional/stressful origin than it might appeal to me more, but I feel like it doesn't fully account for those of us who developed our condition following either a concussion/TBI, infection or damage from a particular medication. I personally believe what's gone on with the majority of us is that we had dormant instabilities, meaning neuronal systems that weren't functioning as efficiently as they should've been, with regards to certain pathways not delivering accurate/adequate sensory stimuli to the brain and then we ended up encountering a 'trigger', which is the event that sparks the onset for when the unconscious and automatic processes that are occurring within our body are suddenly brought to our conscious attention. We want to try to go about our normal daily life, but our body reaches a position where it's no longer capable of providing us with that level of functionality; one way of looking at it, is the demand outstrips the supply; because the body is physically incapable of responding swiftly enough to external stressors whilst it's dealing with compromised blood flow (due to these neuronal instabilities). And once this point is reached, our frustration of not being able to live a 'normal life' causes us to push our body even harder whilst these unresolved dysfunctions are present and that ultimately leads to crashes and symptoms, because our brain/body is being to forced to interpret more, on top of the basic physiological functioning that it's already struggling with.

Chris you think UC & IBD could be linked to neurological disorders, how can we test for this without a state visit? I'm sure the nhs aren't looking at this? I could get my BP, blood o2 and pulse taken standing, sitting and lying I suppose. I work nights and days doesn't help to be honest but I have no choice. Apologies for random questions but what are your thoughts on FMT?

I think they could be linked to a neurological dysfunction John, I made a video a couple of years ago with some evidence behind this possibility. There are a few chiropractic neurologists in the UK that might be able to give you another point of view, although they don't have the facilities that some of the clinics do in the states - you can search for them on acnb.org I think FMT could be helpful, and has proven to be helpful for certain people with bacterial infections like C.Diff, but I personally don't think it would be a long-term solution for IBD; because I think this is linked more to immune dysregulation than an infection

Appreciate you getting back to me, I'll defiantly look at the site Chris. You mentioned C.diff this couldn't be misdiagnosed with IBD could it? I've also heard parasites but that opens up a whole world of anxiety. Thanks again

@@ChrisGascoigne1 What if its parasitic, I've been hearing a lot of talk about cleansing and using ivermectin have you looked into this?
