Great shade tree vid. I always drill tiny hole in thermostat plate to facilitate cool air relief. Helps useless trapped air out of system safely. In the north east winter air can/will gather where it's least needed.
You are not cured. Laser treatment and oral terbinafine for 3 months did work for me. After years of spending money on miracle creams, oils, vinegar soaks, etc you name it. This is the only solution. Go to a podiatrist that does laser and ask for terbinafine. 6 months and you are done.
Purchased Wen Model 70711 in 2015 initially for laminate flooring. Though my budget was low, it turned out to be a good saw that still works perfectly today. Excellent for occasional use. My angle numbers are stamped without a flaw, no stickers. With a Diablo blade, it will cut through any wood, including 4x4's, and lasts a long time. Sits well on a folding 45 in. x 12 in. x 20 in. Aluminum Pro Work Platform.
One thing i did when putting back together was trim the vent tube down a little to make it easier to reassemble so its not so tight going in and another thing i did was plug the unit in before i tried to put in place turned on the heat to adjust the control arm to a position that lined up with actuator arm and turned off ignition
I used super glue with great results the only issue was I had to clean it up a bit so when the windshield wipers are on it doesn't leave a slight streak like a bad windshield wiper blade, but the purpose of the fix was so the crack didn't go any further 3 years later and winter and summer and the crack never went any further, I did reapply super glue a year or so later just for the heck of it, up and down a dirt road (potholes) and still held up, the car is gone now so no videos
Nissan was incredibly dull minded to not have a cutout for the oil to drain and to remove the filter. Most manufacturers have figured this out already 😂
Thanks for the information about the screws. The screw heads were broken off on mine so I had to drill them out. I didn't bother with new screws on the fresh rotors. The screws were put in place to keep the rotors from moving on the assembly line. They serve no other purpose.
You aren't going to ark the ground on tge ground with your wrench or ratchet. After it's disconnected, when you put the wrench or ratchet on tge hot, if you hit the ground, it won't arc anymore either, so if we stay in the habit of that, we'll save hide eventually, because the best of us will get comfortable eventually. Why not train ourselves well and try to bring the USA back on the map for quality work?
Thanks for this video, there are always positive contributions friend. Last night I went to bed at 11 PM trying to place the (Starter motor or the part that holds the rope) inside the cover since 4 PM and I lost the battle until today when you explained in this video that the alignment hole must coincide with the hole underneath for the 4 screws to fit hahaha, well I made the mistake of removing the 4 screws because the machine got stuck. lol Thank you. I think your old carburetor was defective from the factory and that's why your machine wouldn't start. But the machine that I have now 11 years after this video came out is a huge headache, these machines should be withdrawn from the market. Thank you again.
Okay. I watched all the videos about your weedwacker. I just rebuilt the exact same one yesterday. And so, because I've done it literally dozens of times, here's what I'll contribute for your help. - I bought piston rings for this from an Italian company called Caber. - all burn and grease comes off using EASY OFF oven cleaner. Wash off with regular soap and water after, then grease lightly with wd40. - buy carb kits online. Replace all carb components. - flush out jet ports. Don't confuse them. Re-adjust carb settings once everything is done. - clean out fuel system, flush out lines and filter. - use ONLY the manufacturers recommended fuel. There are models that require regular 89 and not 87. - mine used 50:1 mix. I get the feeling, that yours had lower fuel mix: 40:1, or 32:1. MEANING. both 40 and 32 have a higher oil count than 50. Which means less fuel. - make sure therd are no holes or gaps on the carburetor and housing assembly. - make sure all your carb housing holes are lining up. - mine had a compression of 115psi I have seemingly a 100% success rate fixing these. I'm unsure of the condition of yours since it's currently July 2024. Or what happened. But, I was intrested. Have a good day
Hello @Blackjack, I'm trying to get one of these running because it looks like brand new, including the piston - now wear visible. I'd like to remove the piston and clean the piston ring groove really well and possibly replace the ring, but can't figure out how to remove the piston. Based on what you said, it is possible to remove. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..
@threejackcity4471 hello there. You will need a long type Allen key or stressful key (t20,25,30). You will need to remove all those bolts to access the piston properly. The entire engine will come apart in about 3 pieces or 2. Do not destroy the gaskets between those metal surfaces. Remove piston carefully. Replace rings as needed. Lubricate pistons with oil during reassembly. Remove debris from cylinder. Flush out all engine components. Assemble.
We just got a fan for our patio cover that has a remote. We have 5 young kids and I know that remote is going to disappear so fast and then we can't turn on our fan. Hope this helps my husband figure out how to bypass the remote... it is a different brand of fan with different colored wires. Why did the ceiling fan industry seemingly universally decide they should all be controlled by remote? Stupid.
Great how to video! Helped me immensely. To get the screws on the actuator I taped a pencil to a 8mm closed end ratcheting wrench. Not fast, but it worked!!!
My understanding is it is faster and better to remove the SD card and use an adaptor and plug in the card to the computer, not use the cord to connect it during updating.
I repair weedwackers for a hobby and Homelite is about the worse! Yes I wasted 2 hours taking off those 4 screws and I cursed for rest of the day! I am about to give up trying to line the stupid starter coil, or I might just throw it into garbage or strip it for parts. Homelite products are irrepairable and they are crap! including their chain saws
Many years ago, my girlfriends teenage boy managed to run my lawnmower out of oil and the motor seized up. I visited a local lawnmower shop in Lewisville, Texas and the elder gentleman mechanic told me to mix ATF fluid with Laquer Thinner, pour the mixture into the spark plug hole and let sit overnight. Then the next day try rocking the mower blade back and forth a little bit to free it up. It proved to be pretty stiff at first, but after a few minutes of rocking back and forth, it totally freed up and ran successfully for several more years!!! I've used that same mixture several times since then on other engines with good results. Too bad, after several days of working on my Homelite, I still can't get my weed whacker to hit a lick. It exhibits "ALL the same symptoms "as yours....even after removing the muffler. Piston and ring looks clean....compression seems fine. Next step is to purchase a compression tester and check for low compression. Sure is a brain teaser. After that.....maybe I'll bite the bullet and upgrade to a more reliable brand!!!
Very Descriptive and I thank you for that. The one mistake that I've seen so far is that you bought a Dorman replacement part. Pure Chinesium Garbage. Other than that good descriptive video.
I am trying to realign the screw holes for the pull cord reel but I can’t get them to align due to rope tension. Can someone please help me out? What do I do? I got the motor loose and didn’t think about it when I removed all the front screws and now I can’t reinstall the engine cuz of this.
My model is VT21566 Mighty 26VT has the knob you turn to run half choke and full choke . Does not run at all . I toke knob off after I put on chock was not on chock . I can not see how that supposed to work by turning knob. Take knob off there no way it turns anything . How do you get around so chock works? That knob does nothing I can see.
i have this allomatic opener w/ the multicode dip switches, i purchased a liftmaster 850 lm and i can't get it to function. i attached the liftmast to my garage door opener and it functions as it should. what am i doing wrong w/ the allomatic gate opener?
