Hi! My name is Kika and I'm a knit designer living in Helsinki, Finland. I’ve always been a passionate knitter, fun fact: Kutova actually means knitting in Finnish. Back in 2017 I moved to Stockholm and started to post photos of my knitwear on Instagram. The photography bug hit me and after getting featured 6 times by Instagram, I became a full time content creator and felt I wanted to share more of the behind the scenes and find a way to connect even more online.
Start of 2019 I was living in London, and I took the scary step of uploading my first ever RU-vid video (after many failed attempts). I started to make videos about photography, creativity and knitting.

Sorry, can't help asking this: ~5:30 in the vid, you did have permission from the cafe owners to film there, right? Because it would be seriously obnoxious behaviour to roll up and just start filming in a place where people are paying to enjoy a peaceful drink with a RU-vidr doing a loud narration in the background. Put my mind at ease - you did negotiate this and get permission, right?
Glad i found your video. I totally have zero knowledge how to knit. This video encourages me to learn more about how to knit. I hope there is more video like this from you for beginners, all the way for intermediate, and advance knitting.
Oh my goodness I love this pattern but I was up until the wee small hours trying to get past Chart C that was a total hair pulling experience as I had to rip this section out so many times and just wish this had been included in the video as it was the hardest part to understand. Some on Ravelry say the sleeves are equally difficult to understand but I’m hoping not as I love this yarn and pattern! 😮🧶🩵

Be gentle with yourself and do not ever feel like you owe it to anyone to post and create content. Some days will be great and others quite tough h it that is motherhood and you will thrive in your new role. Congratulations and enjoy these early years as a mom because before you know it, your little baby will be almost as tall as you and not needing you for everything and you will miss, even the toughest day as a new parent.
