Uh, NO. It does NOT have a "rotary" engine. It has three CYLINDERS with PISTONS which go up and down. The name of the engine maker is "Rotax" which is confusing, but at one time they DID make Wankel engines. But they do not make them anymore.

I own this 1600 bike , an s1000rr, and a gs 1200 and I hate the GS. I can't stand the gs. "Hate" is too gentle a word for the feelings of contempt and nausea I have for the gs. In fact, I'm not certain there's a word that could describe how much disgust I have for the gs bikes
So can i now ride the model 18 without a license tax etc i have a ban for a few more months so don't wanna break any laws ....no way asked our local police and they said "we cant give legal advice" wow ????

only thing stopping me ditching the car for this thing is living in a flat and having to go up and down some stairs everyday. I also dont feel comfortable leaving it outside. If I could find one that weighs around 35kg than mayyybe I could give it a go :(
