Hi .i dont want to be dissrespectful but please remove your hats when you eat in Romania . Is a sign of respect for the food and for those who prepared it.
A local told me that it was named the bridge of lies because soldiers going off to war would take their significant others to that bridge and “lie” to them telling them they would return safely
*40.000 dong for a Banh Mi street vendor is quite expensive, as far as I am concerned. At my place, with 20.000 dong, you can literally have a big-size Banh Mi with a loath of meat in there.* 🤔
Yeah we realized later at this specific place we had bun rieu. It was really good, & so was all the pho we had at other places. People should try it all!
You should visit Kharkov (Ukraine), the central streets are very beautiful, you can spend 4-5 hours walking through the city center to the central park, everything is decorated with lights, many installations, fairs and a beautiful central square. Unfortunately, this is not the case in Bucharest.
