Family-friendly content on pistols and rifles based on the concept we are able to protect our family and homes by the design of the Creator Jesus Christ. Some gun competition talk.
Mine failed right out of the gate. Fired one round, slide came back, ejected the brass and picked up the new round from the magazine and then would not go into full battery. Was about 90%-95% into battery and the slide was locked. Couldn't move it at all. Finally got the slide to release, fired the round and upon getting another round from the magazine, did it again. So I got a RMA and the factory has it in their shop as of 24 Jul and still waiting word when it will be done and on its way back to me. I could not recreate this issue with dummy rounds.
@18dmedic Mine needed to be broken in a bit. It was tight from factory like shadow systems. It has gotten much better after a few hundred rounds. Hope yours comes back working great.
I would consider porting snappy pistols like the walther pdp and caniks but not pistols like the m&p, cz or glock. I feel like it does more harm than good because its loud, reduces velocity and it gets dirty a lot faster. If it's a duty weapon mud and dirt can get stuck in the holes if you drop it. It increases the muzzle flash at night time which can be distracting. I could see the benefit for competition but I think that it would be a bad idea for concealed carry. I guess whatever makes people happy though. Just my opinion.
@Shenmue06 All valid points, and it really comes down to preference. Some get the facts wrong a little on the pros and cons, but then again, some things are opinions, and some things fact.
Is that canik slide stainless or coated? Wow looks nice. Came here to see your review of the 226. Just picked one up last weekend. Can’t wait to mount a 507 comp on it
I got an rdp close to when they were new. My only complaint is the wasp... that thing blows, it's made from a fairly soft aluminum. After about 500-600 rounds the dot started "walking" well I thought it was until i noticed the whole base moved. I rma'd the wasp to springfield and they sent me a new one to wich i immediately sold it for $220 and bought a better dot.
So, range toys port or comp, nightstand or carry handguns may require another scrutiny. Blast indoors or port flash gas while near your body may be undesirable. I like most of your examples are fuller size but may not be common for on-body carry guns.
@grover138 May require extra training if carried. You can shoot ported guns from retention if you train how to do it correctly. I have shot ports in after sunset and never seen a real issue with flash. It would be like shooting during a thunderstorm the flash is so fast the eyes hardly notice. Most pistols have almost as much flash out the front. However, it is different and needs to be trained through.
Yeah the constant cleaning would get on my nerves. I feel like ports have a place in competition and fun on the range but not duty or concealed carry. The inside of the barrel has rifling for a reason. I think cutting out some of the rifling with multiple holes might not be the best decision. How would the bullet properly hit the right velocity and accuracy when a quarter of the rifling is missing with 5 holes on top of the barrel? I can understand having one large port at the end of the barrel but multiple small holes covering the top of the barrel has to effect performance. I'm sure it's still accurate but I highly doubt that it's as accurate as it originally was.
I think a chunk port or grand master port job (Monsoon tactical) or another company’s version of the chunk + porting would look great on that model Canik. Yours looks great as well.
@nickleon4696 I think if you use your support hand like most do on 1911s it will not be a big issue. It's not my favorite slide release, but I would not say it is the worst I have used. I do wish the would have extended it slightly wider and further forward I could say.
@@Heteachethmyhandstowar got it for 439. Two mags made it even better. Thought for the price it would only have one. It's well balanced, made my dagger look like a gun from temu haha
@Rayvisin I agree. I have shot a dagger and it was not awful, but the Falcon is much nicer for close to the same price.. I would have a hard time finding a better performance pistol for what I have in and done to the Falcon.
Congressional hearings no longer have any useful purpose. They've devolved into each side make ridiculous speeches and trying to generate media/sound clips to facilitate their own personal agenda, rarely ever focusing on the needs of the nation or the constituents.
This had me rolling 😂 Kudos to you for a good clip. But I'm sorry to say you're not cut out for Secret Service work. Overqualified in all areas except being a minority lol
I fully get that first complaint. That's a pretty big issue on my HK P30L as well, and it's almost certainly because of the very tiny frame rails both platforms have. It was quite a surprise after acquiring my first handgun, which was the original Beretta APX. Despite being a serialized chassis gun like the Sig P320, Beretta actually uses full length steel frame rails, so it's SUPER smooth for a polymer gun. Very little holster support for it though, so I've kinda put it by the wayside, unfortunately.
So in short it has great potential and the low bore axis action works, but even on the gen 2 model they still didn't figure out how to make it nice... By the way, do you know if it takes Shadow 2 magazines? I've heard people say they are identical, others say similar, some say they might not even work. Could you try that?
Great testimony. I have a very similar salvation story. I was also saved at 5. I can only vaguely remember it though. I struggled for years afterwards with my salvation, asking Jesus to save me multiple times. It bothered me into my late 20's until I stayed on my knees crying out to Jesus to just save me and give me some kind of sign so I can have peace about it. This went on for a couple days. The last day of me crying out wondering why Jesus wouldn't listen to me or save me. I had the Holy Spirit spoke to me (not audible, just an ah ha moment.) I finally understood that it was not the prayer or how you say the prayer or with what words you use, but its just simply the belief in Christ for who He is and what He done for me. That is what saves you. Not my prayer or fancy words. I had such a peace after that and I was so amazed. I'm like you, I gave it to God. I can't save myself, I can only trust what He says.
@Heteachethmyhandstowar << I also appreciate the info on the archon. I was planning on buying a plastic gun and leaning toward a p10c or an apx-a1 but your vids have persuaded me to buy an archon gen2.
@hansgruber6381 Cool, it is awesome once you work all the bugs out. I hope you watched the first couple videos I had on it just to know the few cons I had with the Archon.
Teach me your ways! I have over a dozen pistols and have yet to try porting on any of them. This list includes some very shootable platforms including the Type B, X5 Legion Cajun P-01 and P-07, G45 and then some. I gave you a follow and when I get some more time I'm going to watch your page because I really like what I see and I like my Archon Type B too. I'll be staying tuned, keep up the hard work man, it is very much appreciated.
What was the pistol mentioned at timestamp 16:25 right after talking about the Alien when referring to other low bore axis guns? I couldn't make out exactly what you said but it was something like "Manchestolokia"
That Bul is nice I have the aluminum framed 4.25” SAS Tac 2 Was about to get the 5” steel framed Tac 2 Pro but leaning Staccato (lifetime warranty) u til the Tac Comp drops next year
