I used to live in Carlsbad (now Los Lunas). The drive from Roswell to Carlsbad is the worst. Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Bottomless Lakes State Park east of Roswell are cool spots down that way. I've never been on the Guadalupe Rim, just as far as Queen, will definitely try this winter since it stays pretty warm down there.
Love this review. Reminds me of a little 50cc two stroke, Tomos scooter I had growing up! That thing was so much fun! Where I live we have exactly those 60mph 1 lane highways you mention. And I have to take them to get out to the back roads and trails to ride. Otherwise this thing would be in my garage right now.
