Bro… You pumped up a tcl q6 like it was amazing and downplay the picture quality and say it’s no slouch. Then you get to the Bravia nine which is arguably the best LCD ever made and immediately say it’s not on par with OLED. You hype up a mid range TV and say the inferior picture quality is totally not that big of a deal, but then when you start discussing the best LCD that has ever been made you immediately go negative and say it’s not on par with OLED. I get that you prefer OLED, and your assessment is correct that it cannot compete with pixel level illumination, but you seem to have a bias against Sony for some reason. The tcl is bigger but it’s not on par with the Sony b9, not even close. But you position it as amazing. Then you position the Sony as not as good as oled. Everyone of entitled to their own opinion, but can you at least stop pretending to be giving an objective analysis. You consistently frame Sony TVs as not as good as something else. Then when you were reviewing other TVs you talk about their strengths. I don’t know if you realize you are doing it or if it’s intentional, but it makes it difficult to see you as someone who’s giving an objective review. Because this is a pattern with you
@@johnspelman8976until rtings can give some consistency and how they score and rank TVs that means nothing to me. And it not being on par with OLED was not my point. My point was he positioned a far inferior TV as great, but then when he got to the best LCD ever made he immediately downplay how good it is by comparing it to OLED.it’s disingenuous
@@johnspelman8976rtings doesn’t even watch content on the TVs they just run test patterns and then give some arbitrary score. For example, when they first reviewed the Sony X95K they said the contrast was mediocre. Then they changed their testing methodology and said it’s contrast was out of this world good. Same TV, contrast is something that can be seen objectively without using test patterns. But they said it had mediocre contrast one day and then the next day said it was amazing. Can’t be both so there opinion means nothing
Saw a Hisense Mini-LED at my local Best Buy. It's very impressive with eye popping brightness, very good viewing angles and deep, deep black levels. The demo that it was running looked great and reallly popped. Cant wait to see what the Bravia 9 can do. I have a Sony A95K which is excellent but if I was in the market now, the choice between an OLED or a Mini-LED might be tough
Thanks, good info. Despite the price drop on the B9, I would still suggest patience. IMO the B9 is overpriced and I don't think everyone is sold that it's a true flagship after several years of OLED and QD-OLED. Sony will eventually lower the price to move units.
I prefer to slowly upgrade size instead of making a big jump from 77 to 98. Because I know that once I go to 98 there’s no going back and it may take time to get flagships at that size. So I’m going for 85 Bravia 9.
Maybe I missed it but what picture settings was this comparison done because the G4 colors appeared warmer. Both tremendous TVs but I'm sure I can adjust the picture settings to make the Bravia 9's colors warmer.
I have s90d and calibrated, colors are not this dull as shown in this video, the true comparison is when both tv are calibrated to its max potential and then compared.
@@TechWithKG I am not a professional, but i hired someone through my friend and he came in with some kind of different remote, but what i told him was picture looks dull and need warmth and color thats it, he did some settings i didnt understand though and it was amazing. I havent seen a TV that good. Even he showed some close up pics of panel and told me it was qd-oled not W-oled as heard in reports and i was worried. But he explained that i will lose some realism. But out of box i didnt like now I'm happy, colors pop without oversaturation and also has warmth.
In Performance , 100% SAMSUNG S95C better than SONY A95L , This is very important Q-DOT technology in Panel is made of SAMSUNG. Sony Company have bought Samsung Company in 2023 for Use this technology in SONY'S A95L panel
The only thing I hate about the OLED tvs is that you loose detail in dark parts of the picture. For example, look at the beginning of the video at the flowers; there is a dark gap among the flowers at the right side of the screen. You will see details in the mini led and just black on the oled.
Colors look oversaturated in A95L to be honest. Don't know, maybe it's your settings, but G3 colors look more natural, closer to real world, not overly seturated. My eyes just got tired from looking at A95 overseturated colors.
@@TechWithKG Like out of the box ? Yead, you should tweak a bit at times, Iceman and Bob Tech and Gaming has improved my gaming and film watching experience on it by a lot, bless him🙏
So... Is the green tint and magenta tint on the LG C4 and S90D respectively just something you see on camera? Or do they look the same to the naked eye? Because it looked to me like the S90D was struggling to display anything green while the LG C4 was vibrant with it (likely due to the tint). I'd like to know which one is able to display better more close to the original colors because I'm looking to buy one myself.
I own both C4 & S90D, color is just barley better on S90D & black levels are slightly better on C4. But build quality & parts is Definitely a lot on LG's. Stick with LG all the way 👍👍👍
I was debating between an OLED and a Neo QLED for my living room and ended up buying the QN85A, mostly because of burn-in worries. After some time, it develop terrible DSE. A big slightly darker vertical stripe occupying the entire third quarter of the screen from left to right. Very visible on bright solid colors and distracting while watching soccer. A lot of LCDs from RTINGS' burn-in test are in terrible shape after the stress test too. Moral of the story is no screen is safe at all and avoiding the best tech available because of these fears is dumb.
