Best Chicken Fried Rice Recipe With Egg - Serves 4 (Or 2 hungry people!) Ingredients 2 cups cooked white rice, cold 2 eggs, whisked together (Season with salt and MSG) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 onion, diced 1 red pepper, diced 1/2 leek, diced (Optional - I had it in the fridge) 2 garlic cloves, finely sliced Small piece of ginger, finely diced 1 small chilli, finely sliced (Add more or less depending how hot you like it) 2 cups cooked white rice, cold 1 cup cooked, chopped chicken meat 2 tablespoons soy sauce (Use a mix of dark and light soy sauce for best results Salt MSG (Optional but it's what makes it taste so good!) Chives or spring onions, finely chopped Method [1] Cook rice, drain and spread out on a surface to cool. [2] Get your veg prepped and ready to go. [3] When the rice is cool, season with salt and MSG. Add the soy sauce and mix well until the rice is evenly coloured. [4] Add 1 tbsp of oil to a very hot pan and stir in the egg to make ribbons. Remove from pan and keep to one side. [5] Add more oil to the same hot pan and add the leek, onion and red pepper. Season with salt and MSG, and stir-fry until lightly coloured. [6] Add the rice to the hot pan and continue to fry for 5 mins. Occasionally press down on the rice and leave for 20 secs. [7] Add the chicken, garlic, ginger and chilli, and fry for a few more minutes. Season with salt and MSG to how you like it. TIP: Season little and often. You can always add more but you cannot take away :) [8] Add the peas and cooked egg. Continue frying until everything is piping hot. Serve with finely sliced chives or spring onions.
How To Debone Chicken Thighs Easily! To save you money, my video shows you how to easily and quickly debone (and deskin) chicken thighs. Make sure to use a VERY sharp knife, but watch your fingers! Keep the skin on if you want it and save the bones for stock, soup or snacking :) Trim as much fat off the thigh after deboning as you like. Check for small pieces of bone on the thighs and trim them off before cooking. Cut either side of the bone but DO NOT cut all the way through the thigh meat, just go to the bottom level of the thigh bone. The first cut is towards the end of the chicken bone that DOESN'T have the hard cartilage and then cut as close to the bone and cartilage as possible on the other end. Oh my god! I just made this. I quadrupled the ingredients as I had over a kilo of turkey breast. I also used lemon juice as I didn't have lemongrass. I added peas for colour and to increase the volume of vegetables (as I love vegetables). It was absolutely divine. Easy, quick and tasty. I'd suggest for anyone wanting heat, to add a chilli. However, it's so tasty even without any chilli. I added sriracha at the end, just for a quick hit of chilli. 1000% recommended recipe. Thanks a million. 😋

Great video, although I don’t think we needed to see you completely cook the mince. I’d love to see you fold that wrap at the end as you put at least filling for two into your one. It would have spewed out of your wrap all over the place!
Hi Nazleen. If you're baking an alcohol-free Christmas cake you can use a few tablespoons of orange, cherry, cranberry or apple juice; something sweet to keep the moisture in the cake. You can also soak the fruit in tea if you prefer. Hope that helps :)
