We have had four TDI Jetta’s; a ‘98, ‘05, 2012, and a 2015. All have been great. We have been driving a 2024 gas Jetta (Jetta #5) rental car the last three weeks and it is also a great car that gets about 41 mpg highway. I have no problem with Volkswagen and we will purchasing a Tiguan later this week. No sun roofs though!
What a great experience. Lots of knowledge gained over the years. The Jetta is a true staple. The Tiguan is brilliant too. It’s VWs number one seller worldwide. In Canada you can go up to a Comfortline with no roof and save $1500. We reviewed the 2022 when VW did a redesign. All the best on the next purchase and thanks for saying hello.

It is available on the 2.5 litre provided it's not the hight pressure turbo engine used in the GT and Suna trim. . As far as we know, Mazda is the only manufacturer to offer cylinder deactivation on a 4 cylinder. It's wild to think only 2 cylinders are operating, but they know what they are doing.

It really all depends. If it’s right off the truck from factory, generally between 15km and 20km. This takes into consideration the kms it had when it landed, putting gas in the car, and the tech doing the pre delivery inspection. If there are things like tint or other products that the car needs, there could be extra kms. If it’s dealer traded, then it will definitely have more. I hope this helps.

Ooooo great question. If you just need a reliable vehicle, then the Rav4. If you want something fancier and can afford it, then the Venza. We really like the Venza. It’s just a higher ticket. Either way though, both are great choices.

Absolutely useless review I want to hear about six cylinder engine I don't want to hear about hybrid another b******* just say how good is a six cylinder are is there a turbo or non turbo because I hate turbos but you guys try to be funny and some people actually want the information
Both 6 cyl engines (the base model and top model) have straight 6 cyl turbos. The mid level model is a PHEV with MAZDAS 2.5L 4 cyl..no turbo but bcs of the electric motor you still get over 300HP
I just bought one and I love it. The features in this car is insane... And what is really cool is I make the batteries. I work at all to ultiumcells so to buy something that I help build is really cool watching these videos and these vehicles getting good ratings is just really awesome. Makes me feel like I got job security lol...

I was thinking of trading in my 21 lexus IS-350 DHP, and I must say I wasn't very impressed when I test drove it! I just couldn't justify paying as much as I did for the Lexus. I would be giving up all the features that my fully loaded IS has like awd, heated, and ventilated seats. Built in Nav, panoramic view cameras, blind spot monitors, front and rear collision prevention, sunroof, full power adjustable driver and passenger seats, rear passenger climate control vents and most importantly, the Mark Levinsons studio on wheels sound system. Acuras ELS sound doesn't compare in the slightest to Marc Levinson. The only thing I really liked about the type-s was the exhaust , 6-speed manual transmission, and the exterior styling! The seats are hard as a rock and can only seat 4! If it was priced at 42k, I probably would've considered buying it, but at the current price point, I would surely experience buyers' remorse.
That’s certainly a great list to consider. Buying a car is not the easiest choice to make. The transmission alone made me want to buy the Acura. The interior was very Honda like and less Acura like. That took away a bit of the luxury. All in all, we still enjoyed it very much.
I have a 2021 sx trim, first 3 years ,it was OK, even though it's GDI engine consumes lot of engine oil, I had to top up the oil every 2-3weeks. After 3 years ,it s not starting properly, delayed start, fail to start, frequently stalled , especially, after auto engine shut off, car didn't restart, now completely it's dead , KIA products lasts for only 3 years. Kia ,Hyundai, shouldn't be allowed to sell their products to public. It's almost a crime, selling those defective products. Their dealership charges customer 5-6 times more than market price for their services. $600 for battery , $700 for simple sensor. It is more than fraud. They are like criminals. My family, my coworkers, friends, are never going to buy Korean products any more. It's so disgusting.

I traded in my 2018 6 spd Golf R for the last 6 spd (2024 Golf R). I have the Pretoria rims (like my 2018 and love them). I love my new one! Not sure what all the negativity is about but I love it! Have seen some videos on the 2025 and I’m not impressed with some of those changes. Infotainment looks like an after thought on it; R badge on the door…ugh and illuminating the logo is just cheesy. Nevermind the fact that it only comes in automatic….sad!!!

@@HoodSlappersOfficial only because new ev auto makers don't try as hard. Tesla, Rivian, Lucid and even Ford can do it... The only thing under the plastic is a spaghetti mess of tubes that could be tightened up just like any company with real leadership. Missed opportunity.
You'd love mine, manual with a golf ball BFI shifter, I've done a ton of mods making it oem plus. Truly an amazing vehicle. We'll see how long my stock clutch lasts with the APR high torque 93 octane stage I tune.
VW responded to what customers like. The Pretoria wheels are iconic to the the Golf R. I have a 7.5 R and although I like the those wheels the Pretorias on the Mk7 look much much better. I don't like the black paint that has been the trend on alloy wheels. The Prets are all one color, looks much cleaner. Love the look of Prets on the Mk8.

The Pretoria are neither outdated or cool , there are classic. Is the GTI enough for the average Jo? Probably yes , if you dont live in a snowy region or take a full specs GTI (resale value).
