I have 2 mehrpow 100ah that has worked for 3-4 months. Both suddenly stopped outputting power. The app says they both are good, however not even the jumpstart will get the batteries to give me power. I can charge the batteries. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the BMS. Asking someone overseas how to fix this is ..... Well let's just say it's no help.
sorry to hear that. Have you checked the voltage with a multimeter? How are they hooked up? If in parallel I would unhook them and charge each one up individually and see what happens. The cells could be unbalanced which causes the BMS to shutdown to prevent over voltage.
Just to fair and i mean this respectfully lol you answered your own question about not finding an unboxing video. It's a limited edition most people wanna leave them boxed awesome video man thanks for sharing i subscribed
Just received their "Tolling Motor" version and it shows 0.3V (I don't have a multimeter, and this is what the charger tells me -- NOT CHARGING IT YET). Would this be a DoA battery? Or a shutdown BMS? I am awaiting a response from the vendor.
Hi @@bansheerider619 thanks for that info! I do find it odd that Li Time support makes no mention of the BMS being shut down deliberately and are instead even offering to 'loan' me a 0V charger. The 0V charger is their 'method 1' for recovery, and their 'method 2' is to connect a 12V solar panel+charge controller.
My Li Time battery came 49 percent charge to but the BMS was already on. I bought this battery for the bluetooth feature. When I am out boating I can quickly check the charge percent of the battery.
@@BTSflyer I will be wiring these in parallel on my trailer. It’s nice in the app you can setup 2 batteries in parallel and monitor the voltage of both.
I just bought this second hand from the original owner its in like new condition! Mines either a 2015 or 2016 same exact color. Do you still have your bike or have you got a more recent model?
Ibhave this alarm in my 90 civic. Range sucks. It barely starts It about 2 block away. And when it's remote started. It don't even tripper my ac or heater on... that part I'm not sure if it's due to honda or from the installer
@bansheerider619 some vehicles work with the remote start and ac/ heater will come one if it's left on prior to shutting the car down. I need to take mines back and see if the guy can redo it to make it work. Great alarm. Just wish it had better actual range.
Hi thanks for the vids! Can you compare the Vulcan with the hawk 70mm? Which faster? More less stabile? Easier to land? I'm trying to decide which to get!
The Vulcan is much faster, stable, but can be hard to land. The gear is much better than the Hawk, but still hard to land depending on your skill. This is not a beginners jet. The landing will be much easier with perfect CG, which varies on the battery youre using. Sorry for the late reply.
Great and detailed video .I got one installed yesterday and am learning the works .i found out on my ford transit that once locked the radio plays all by itself for about five minutes .Some kind of battery sensor shuts it off .I think its a transit flaw but it wont run the battery down
Hello I'm a fairly new pilot when it comes to EDF I'm just about to Maiden the Vulcan 4000 6s AR 630 receiver I believe I'm set up and ready to go any advice before she goes in the air would be greatly appreciated thanks for your videos awesome
Yes some advise dont have the battery all the way forward like I did in the video. Since I have moved it back about half way on the battery and the landings are much easier. Good luck!
@@bansheerider619 have you ever had a problem with these plastic Clevis they're a little sloppy too I have ball links on all my other planes no play and seem to be pretty stout compared to the stock ones
@@bansheerider619 successful Maiden flight for the Vulcan this morning although it started to rain 2 minutes into the flight in a solid 10 mile an hour wind which actually helped me land nice and smooth only needed three klicks up elevator I'm always nervous with a new bird and your advice about the battery help tremendously thanks again have a great day
Nice video! Quick question. I was thinking about putting in the spectrum 3s motor/esc combo into my 4x4 rustler, but use the Traxxas receiver. Would that work? Thanks!
Yes you can use any receiver you want, however you cant take advantage of the SMART telemetry. To get telemetry you have to use a smart spektrum receiver with spektrum controller.
You gave the most informed illustration on this Viper Alarm. I had it installed at Jack’s Stereo in Tyler,Tx. In 2009. I forgot about most of the features you displayed in this video & I Thank you for doing so. This is the best of the best vehicle alarm’s on the market! I also purchased the Viper vehicle app for an additional $199.00 & with this app you can do everything from your phone that the key fob does & more… ie: Start your vehicle from anywhere in the USA 🇺🇸, Track your vehicle location, Engage the kill switch, check how much fuel is in the vehicle, Tire pressure & several other features that I haven’t mentioned. I Thank you again for this Wonderful demonstration on this Viper Vehicle Alarm!!! 10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s
Any chance you could put something together for your receiver/transmitter set up for this as it's my first EDF and want it to be dialed like my other Eflite planes. I'm running a AR630 receiver with a DX8
Rule number one for owning a generator: secure it as best as you can. Generators are a highly sought after item for thieves - and they will steal a running generator! It only takes a few seconds with a cordless angle grinder to cut through a chain or a plastic housing. If you want the generator to last, change the oil much sooner than the recommended 100 hours, and always let it warm up before putting a load on it. Never store the generator with ethanol-based fuel in the carburetor. Lastly, don't run the generator for extended periods at more than 80% of the stated running watts.
I have this remote for my viper alarm system and hate it. I always accidently unlock my vehicle. Is there a better remote out there where you can lock the buttons or something like that.
