Really enjoyed the review! Cool figure but not for me. One thing I noticed during the review is the background music is a bit annoying. I prefer to just hear your review and your voice not competing with music. I had to stop the video at first because I wasn't sure where the sound was coming from lol. Other than that I enjoy your quick and non-bloated reviews!
That computer pad is great for museum posing. 🤣🤣 Great review, Graeme. I believe mine is coming in a week or two. On that map thingy - they should have made that round part on hard plastic, so you wouldn't have to stick the hologram on top of it. They way it is now, once you assemble it (with the tape), you can't unassemble it to put it back in the box.
Enjoyed the review! Figure does look great, I just wish they did a better job at hiding the hand pegs, it kinda kills the realism the figure otherwise has. I would need to put him in a carefully chosen pose if I get this guy to try hide them. I think he would look cool posed next to Vader or Moff Gideon, white outfit contrasting with the black. I doubt we will ever get the Legends or Rebels version, so I may just have to bite the bullet 😅
I’ve hesitating If should pick up darth sidious figure, or wait another palpatine ROTJ figure. This release is awesome, I don’t know, maybe I should buy this now. 🙆♂️
2.0 is better than the DX09. The 09 is low definition in comparison. The stock cape on the 09 is unusable. And the panel on his head. The 2.0 isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely an upgrade over the DX.
I’m really considering canceling my 89 Batman order just because of texture alone. Based on what you have seen if you could only choose one 89 or Batman returns, which would you choose?
Hey man, thanks for all your videos. I find your collection sensational. In this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KsWK9QKtdVY.html, I love the pose of your batfleck and your luke. How do you wire their capes like this? Is it original on these figurines? If so, what are the models of these Hot Toys? Otherwise, how do you do it?? Thank you for your feedback.

Yeah, very disappointed in this figure. The only thing they improved is the cowl. The 1.0's cowl looked decent enough but when you put it side to side with the 2.0 you can see that it was too angular. That overly textured suit is more baffling than anything the Riddler could come up with. The neutral faceplate is average. The smiling faceplate is better but not great. The last face plate looks more like Val Kilmer. The eyes look off too. The cape is fine for posing but they should've included a drape cape as well. I think I'm going to end up canceling it. I don't have DX09 so although it's better than nothing, I also don't want to reward such shoddy work. Sure, I could buy a third-party cape and faceplates, but I shouldn't have to do that with a $345 figure or any figure for that matter. Besides, I have a feeling either Inart or Jazzinc is going to do their own version.
Hot Toys really crapped the bed on this figure. The likeness looks nothing like Michael Keaton. It's not just the faceplate, it's the eyes too. Also, the avocado textured suit is not at all accurate. It looks like they are going with a brighter yellow color for the belt for some unknown reason too. I have no idea what reference material they were looking at when they created this figure. No excuse for this.
I am also thinking of getting this figure ever since I knew of the existence of Hot Toys years ago. Missed the first issue (which isn't that big of a deal to me) and this 2.0 is indeed a great opportunity to get it. My only problem is I do not have lots of space to spare where I come from and my 3 Hot Toys Captain Americas currently occupied the spot that I could spare for this new figure. Moreover Hot Toys just recently announced the Batman Returns 2.0 which really my definitive Batman so now I am torn. That aside, in my opinion like to suggest that you may like to place the Batmobile on the left with the front facing your right (45 degrees angle), with Alfred standing just next to it. As for Batman, place it directly behind the Batmobile with the diorama. In my mind i thought it may look much better.
@@megaredkentadate9834 I think if returns is your definitive Batman you should go for that one. For me it’s 1989 and I love that base! Thanks for the display idea. I have the batmobile pointing towards my desk so I can see it head on from there but I’m always willing to change it up!
I’m putting the DX09 on the diorama. I bought it for the diorama. I don’t know how these things work, but why didn’t thry just use the same head from the DX09 since it was already a better likeness?
