Not sure why this came up but I used to go to this park as a little girl and this brought back memories of going on the their log ride with my grandma and getting a pickle on a stick so thanks for that 💜
As he was riding steel force I said this reminds me of magnum XL..lol then he said it..thunder hawk seems cool HOPEFULLY cedar fair calls RMC and gives it a make over😩🙌🏾probably would bring a lot more attention to dorney park
👍Typical first-time reactions for enthusiasts who have never been at that unique park. Unfortunately, you made the same typical mistake by not making it a FULL day visit to hit up the many "must do" rides and attractions there. Hope you return someday during the weekdays where they offer all day ride passes to get the real experience of Knoebels.
Nice! They let you wear a chest cam. That Wild Turns was so unique. You are really hitting Pennsylvania… Kennywood next??? I was actually supposed to be at Waldemeer this past weekend but the weather ruined it.
Yeah, they allow ONLY chest mounts for some reason. We considered making a stop at Kennywood, but their major attraction, "Steel Curtain", is closed for the 2024 season, so we skipped that park on this trip. Waldameer looks awesome. I hope you're able to make it out there another time! (And yes, Phoenix was AMAZING 😂)
This park was so amazing... I knew going in that basically everyone loves it, and its not hard to figure out why.. There is not a bad ride there, Phoenix is absolutely amazing, the food is great, park is clean, staff is friendly, and honestly, it's cheap! The only drawback is that its in the middle of nowhere, but if you can, make the trip!!!!
I used to run the giant wheel, and had to climb up the side of it once to plug in a desocketed plug. It was about 40 feet up. I felt like spiderman and did a pull up whenup there, and they disciplined me for it, but everyone cheered and I felt like a legend
A longer version of Magnum? Now that would be cool. Something about the old coasters too… Thunderhawk looked good for its age. I figured it would be extremely rough. How is that park that empty????
All of the rides were fantastic, new and old. I have to guess it's that empty due to its location. It's located in Allentown, with a population of 125k, but there aren't many other large cities within an hour.
Man, so glad Parkitect is getting recognition. Super underrated! If you love the RCT games, you'll love parkitect, it's like that but more polished, but also runs easily with no problems! Perfect theme park game in my opinion!
I never thought that this type of job would be easy, as working with the public is rarely easy. But working 70 hours in a week with no OT pay and making you pay for food is pretty lousy. Heck, I had jobs in fast food where we ate free, at least for 1 meal.
Looks like you guys had a great day. I think there's something to be said for the charm of the smaller parks compared to the corporate giants. I remember riding Demon Drop when it was at Cedar Point, and it is indeed a violent one. Another interesting Ohio note is that Possessed started its life as Superman:Ultimate Escape at Six Flags Ohio (Geauga Lake). I always enjoy your videography, music, and editing in your videos, so keep them coming!
Technically, Dorney Park is a Cedar Fair park. It is as much a corporate park as parks like Kings Island and Cedar Point, although this park had a much different feel than the other Cedar Fair parks. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!!
Drop towers scare me to death, but demon drop is so much fun! It is not only the only one in North America, but it is one of 5 left in the whole world.

Great video!!!!! This park was such a blast - I was so impressed by everything during the entire visit, granted the operations weren't perfect, but it really didn't impact the day at all. I can't wait to get over there again sometime soon! For anyone looking to hit Six Flags Great Adventure and HersheyPark, definitely make some time in the trip to get to Dorney Park!!
