There was a tragic accident at Kings Island last night. It is being reported that a man was struck by the Banshee roller coaster. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at the park. I will be keeping Kings Island in my heart tonight. Please refrain from all speculation about the accident and please check in with any friends you may have at the park. The park is very close to many of us, especially park employees, and this may be a difficult time for them.

My nephew works there and was actually operating The Banshee when this happened. My nephew is just a mess watching this happen. My prayers with this man, his family, and every one who witnessed it.

Al I know is the man hoped banshee restricted gates and was struck at 68 mph by the banshee the Jhon doe is 38 years old in critical condition they just released the 911 call absolutely chilling my prayers go out for the man and his family🙏🙏🙏🙏

His last name is Nelson, he's 38, and he died today. I live in the area. I was there one day after he got hit. Not to mention the people in the front row got hit by him and his blood!! He jumped 3 fences!!! And ignored signs. One was an 8 foot fence. He could have waited for his keys. ITS NOT SPECULATION it's true.

I was working in planet Snoopy last night and i was working where i could see banshee and saw trains running at about the time it took place but i would finish the last 2 and s half hours of my shift and would hear nothing from anyone at park and only found out after work when i checked my phone and saw my friend texted me about it and was shocked to see it because i didn't think something like this would happen again. Prayers to the victims and the banshee crew cant imagine how the people that worked tonight felt even though they were not the cause of this accident

OMG. This is heartbreaking. :( Normally I don't like the phrase thoughts and prayers but I'm all for it in this scenario. What a heartbreaking day at Kings Island. Best wishes to everyone and especially the person struck.

I went to Kings Island yesterday and remember seeing this ride being closed an hour or two before the park closed. I hope this man has a safe recovery, both him and his family are in my prayers.

that’s what your worried ab? someone was literally hit by a rollercoaster and barely alive (now dead rip) and you wanted to know if the ride was open. what do you think?
