Did you heat treat the chromoly steel for optimum performance and safety? If you don't have knowledge of and access to heat treatment equipment, going with AR500 steel or Hardox 500 is definitely the best way to go.
I def did not heat treat the chromoly steel. I can report I lead with these ice axes this season and they survived. The handles def need to be improved. I will check out that steel for my next go around at this! Thanks!

I love this! I would encourage you to check out an ice climbing book or mountaineering book that breaks down the different types of ice axes and the key features to each! This would really help your design. For example the tip of your axes have positive angles and would be much more effective for grabbing small holds, breaking through ice, self arresting... if they had a negative angle on them! I would love to see if you do a V2 this year!
great video. I still have Wild Country rigid friends in my rack from the 90's. HowNot2 Highline tried breaking the stems on a video and it took huge amount of KNs ( 23? I forget ) to snap them. I remember they were way lighter than the flexbible friends for a decade or so as well, because they did not have steel cables. I tried to find the spec sheet on a set of WC rigid Friends but could not. It would be fun to cost compare them to the Ultralights as well, and see how a set on ebay compares to the latest and greatest. Thanks for the information.
So funny how many people fell for this scam when it was a rip off of VID, a failed project over two years older than Unimoon, that also had its ceo issues, and eventually was resurrected by an entirely new team and rebranded as Vybit. People really didnt do their DD when looking at crypto social projects. VID, NOW Vybit has had a working product for nearly 2 years now. LOL.
But u didnt state any facts to prove your conviction, you should do an intensive research to support your claims rather than posting video and comments hust based on what you read in the internet, even kids now dont usually believe what they read or seen over the internet. You should have atleast make also vidz for some crypto who can be a potential scam but u only focus on unimoon. Anyway this might strike a bit for others since any inconsistency with developers profile whether its true or not will always create a doubt. But honestly i dont buy this issue with Dale. This is just digging bout personal stuff an attack not on the project but personal attack

Why anonymous devs? A lot of times the devs are secretly collecting taxes and/or dumping large wallets. Then I've seen multiple times the team just blames the dev, but I have a sneaking suspicion the team is usually in on it too.
