Nah fam, I couldn't take Eiyuden Chronicles, I cannot take games without quality of life stuff anymore. I don't have the time to be annoying myself with dumb devs oversights. BUt all these recommendations are solid. And don't you dare mentioning Unicorn overlord to me, My heart is so broken that they didn't release it to PC.
Can confirm, Unicorn Overlord is a great game. The only thing it needs in my opinion after logging more than 100 hours is for the maps to have some sort of level scaling. There are 3 places you can go after the first main mission, and if you choose to brave one of the higher level areas first, the lower level areas with very different stories don’t change level. Having all the regions start out the same level and having the missions adapt to your current level in a way would have increased the quality so much higher
Some Mistakes, I think I noticed, for the Improvement of your next games. Maybe I overlooked something but - Cartel Spacer can only exhaust if you have another cunning unit on the field - Why does the client attack rose and doesnt take any damage back and why doesnt he get his +1 from Saxon?
positives: lighting, audio is great negatives: music is too much, volume esp additions: add a card overlay? for new cards especially. also consider cutting some of the dead spots, shuffling, thinking through plays, etc. just some ideas!
this is great thank you. however, with the limited time i can play i can't go through every character. is there a guide that give general tactics setup by classes?
No guide for each class as your tactics are more based on what your unit as a whole. You don't have to go super complex with conditions Basically just want to make sure your abilities are triggering on the right characters at the right time
I had overwhelming in but felt clucky with too many 5 drops as it's a great card but the deck is a tempo deck in the build I made but could be a build where you want it and yeah maul is probably a auto include
@18:12 The Client would've been shielded when he was played but would've lost the shield when he was captured. Once rescued, he would not have triggered his Shielded again, as it is only On Play.
This is great!!! Im happy to see people playing the new leaders. People say cad bane isnt a good enough leader to beat boba fett, but I think he's the best. Cant wait to get his showcase
@@CoatTee hmm better mix high level monster and other monster... so i can use them freely. When my BP max, i can use high level monster... Btw, monster with level 9. We can use freely or with max BP ??
Hi, there is any form for prioritizing a skill over another? For example, if all team is atacked, give prioritity to hoplite shield the back line before a feather staff preeventive heal.
So kind of you can prioritize skills to a degree the issue with the support skills is the lack of direct conditions for support skills. The example you gave you would have to set conditions for the preventive heal to trigger when the front line is below certain HP or have the hoplite be faster.
They all can't be recruited at the same time but depending how far you are I would go with the support skill recruits first. One that I like that isn't in my list is The elderly man in winter bloom gives 1 bp to your team each round. But depends on your team and how far you are in the game
Basically, what you're looking for, mid to end game, is "-kin King". Aviankin, lizardkin, ratkin, froggen, etc. The animal people with weapons. Kin Kings level II will generally do a double weapon attack on all, while Kin King III will usually do a single target double weapon attack, with a buff or debuff to go with it. III seems like a downgrade, random mobs can be taken out better with Battle-worn Shark, and the debuffs are better on bosses, with their adds gone. Boss adds are the reason you'd have Kin King II's in your party at all, and only if they had weaknesses in common.
Octopath Traveler 2 was amazing, Bravely Default 2 (for me) not so much there's no summons either and no reviewer mentioned that smh. i'll check out one or 2 of the others in your list thanks. Your missing Live A Live I believe thts the name.
I really hope that we can get a better translation for eiyuden chronicles in the future. The one we have now is worse than fire emblem fate’s english translation
@@CoatTee yeah of course. In my team the gladiator attack with concentration of a Witch for 100% accurancy. But, when the enemy suffer freeze (enemies in freeze status cant Dodge), i want my Witch cast Magic saber in my gladiator for more damage instead concentration. That would be the tactic i need
Hey sorry took so long I can't get it to work sadly for passives they really didn't include enough conditions. So only way to get it to work is to adjust your targets of witch so for example have a ice bolt targets bestral. Then in the passive conferral you would put bestral enemies present you would have to adjust this for different battles. You can set more then one condition like that so you could have 2 or 3 so know those enemies will be frozen targets if they aren't present. But still isn't the best solution Sorry
listen, thank you for making this list some people might find it helpful. For me this doesn't work non of these games have the elevation of octopath traveler II if I'm going into details in short could be basically: Story, music, gameplay, exploration and graphics compete on the same level as persona, FF, dragon quest and yakuza. I prefer wait for octopath traveler III than play any of the game of your list, eventhough I played some of the games you named such as live a live (story short, no connection) I want it to see something like chrono triggers but nah, then unicorn overlord Autobattle is not my thing is a big turn off. Chained echoes like you said is made by 1 developer a huge acchieve, however it feels too linear, combat is average at best and not interested in story. This should be a good game for me, but in my opinion is incomplete. Now some games that I would like to add is Grand phantasy re link, eiyuden hundred heroes, omori and even (I'm so mad for saying this) star ocean R second story is better than the majority of the games you displayed.
I really wonder if it just would have been much simpler for the players if instead of having this system of "gambits" players could just manually choose what to do for each of their characters when it is their turn. There are so many edge cases that I feel zre never fully covered or require very complicated automation rules to work ... Just let players choose what they want to do with a turn based RPG style system (like FF10 for example) and it would make things just so much simpler.
I didn't like the first one, tbh. That narrative, where allies are right there by your side, but at the same time are not there storywise just killed the immersion to me.
Unicorn Overlord is a pretty good contender for my GOTY. Highly recommend for those wanting to customize your units with great detail in terms of combat behavior. Very similar to FF12's Gambit System.
