Still relevant today. I just got the Utiltube and it's great but my case even though it's a full tower is cluttered. I do have a free 5.25 bay. Phanteks Enthoo Primo case.
i like this product, but there are some big caveats they gloss over. it can not compensate for such large leaks for very long. Either so much air gets pulled in that the water levels rises in the res upto membrane then it fails. If your flow rate is high enough air might not get trapped in the loop but get pumped out in the res, but then you have to ask 1) what is the max flow rate the pump can keep up with? and 2) at what duty cycle does the tiny micro pump burn out and fail? I can almost guarantee if that pump is going full tilt non stop it will overheat and fail fast. Where this pump shines is detecting very tiny leaks and giving you a little time to fix them, and if you wire it up, triggering a shutdown when a leak is detected.
Im using 2 of these on a Mo-RA3 which will be about 1-2 meters away from PC. How do I connect the pumps to the PC, is there a long enough internal USB 2.0 cable? If I understand correctly Sata to PC will take care power on. Do the fans on the MORA have to be connected directly to the pumps?
I recommend to use the external 200 cm USB cable with part no. 53213. If your fans are 4-pin PWM and do not exceed a total power consumption of 25W you can connect them to the fan port of the pump. A Splitter like Splitty4 or Splitty9 might be usesul in that case.
@@jaynayy You also have to connect SATA of course. USB does not carry 12V nor would it be able to provide the required power. A PCIe to SATA adapter will not work because it does not carry 5V. The pump requires 5V + 12V and both can be only provided through its SATA port. The USB port is only used for the communication.
@@AquaComputerGermany thank you for the support. Do you have a solution for the SATA connection where the pump is far from the PC. I have a mora 420 with two d5 next. The Mora is about 1.5m away from the pc, I am trying too connect the pumps with SATA from my PC. I need an extension to make the cable longer. The cable that connects to psu is a 6pin power cable with multiple SATA connectors.
@@jaynayy We don't offer any extension cables for the power connection. Maybe a small external PSU would be more suitable in that case? If you also connect USB, it is recommend that the power for the PC and external components is provided through the same wall socket to avoid possible problems with the potential equalization.
hi i bought this and it's awesome, i configured the flow alarm to it beeps if flow is low, but when i turn off it keeps constant beeping as of course pumps are not working, is there any way to turn it off manual? as the motherboard is still powered all rgb and stuff connected to usb works so the aquacomputer next keeps working, i just want to turn off the alarm and let the pc like that, not to turn off the PSU everytime i just shut down, hope i explained myself correctly. Meine Pumpe ist knapp ein Jahr alt und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die hängt bei mir an meinem externen Mo-Ra 420 Radiator. Deshalb war es wichtig alles an der Pumpe selbst einstellen zu können. Das funktioniert fast perfekt. Alles kann man einstellen außer die Beleuchtung. Die kann man zwar einschalten, aber die Farbe lässt sich nicht direkt am Modul einstellen. Dazu muss man die Pumpe mit dem Mainboard verbinden. Das geht bei mir aber nicht. Standardmäßig läuft ein Rainbow-Effekt und ich möchte die Beleuchtung in Rot haben. Warum wurde das nicht bei dem Modul integriert? Sehr schade und nervig!
Die Pumpe hat zahlreiche Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, die sich auf Grund ihrer Komplexität nicht sinnvoll im Menü abbilden lassen zumal auch der Speicherplatz begrenzt ist und wir uns auf die wesentlichen Funktionen beschränken mussten. Die LED-Einstellungen fallen da eher in den Bereich der Spielerei. Irgendwelche integrierten Einstellungsmöglichkeiten für die LEDs werden dann auch schnell zu einem Fass ohne Boden da natürlich jeder erwartet seine persönliche Vorliebe konfigurieren zu können. Die Steuerung der Pumpe könnte man - sofern es der Aufbau zulässt - auch abziehen und ggf. in einem anderen System programmieren. Hierzu reicht die Strom- und USB-Verbindung aus. Die Steuerung wird allerdings permanent piepen da das Tachosignal der Pumpe fehlt, was aber für das eigentliche Vorhaben keine Rolle spielt.
@@AquaComputerGermany, naja Rot, Grün, Blau, Gelb, Orange und blinken wäre schon cool gewesen. Kann ja auch jeder 5 Euro RGB Streifen von Wish mit Fernbedienung ;-). Ich habe mir jetzt das 2 Meter USB auf Miniatur-Vision geholt. Damit kann ich die Pumpe fürs einstellen per USB verbinden und danach einfach wieder trennen ohne ans Mainboard ran zu müssen. 🥳 Ansonsten ist die Pumpe perfekt. Quasi die eierlegende Wollmilchsau🤣👍
That company is just amazing. You can feel their products are designed by actual enthusiasts, with attention to all possible details. And somehow they are soooo underrepresented in liquid cooling industry. Plz AquaComputer invest more into marketing!
I searched for image processing Ambilight without being forced registering to a mailing list or use suspicious smartphone apps. The only I know is Aquacomputer and Philips built in their tvs. There might be something with picture cable input, but too expensive to notice.
Can you write custom scripts with that like red and blue flashing lights, when you got police on you in GTA V? Someone on RU-vid did that with another rgb controller.
It´s the most beautiful gpu cooler. The 3090 equivalent is Kryographics NEXT for reference design, but unfortunately there are only Strix offers (with active backplate included). Strix cards reach far beyond the slot brackets.

Warum werden die Kryographics für Referenzdesign 3080/3090 nicht angeboten? Es gibt gute Privatangebote für RTX2080 und Strix 3080/3090, aber die Strix-Platinen sind zu groß für mein Gehäuse (nicht zu lang). Ich möchte eine GTX1080 durch eine 3090 OC ersetzen, aber mag den Pascal-Kryos-Kühler.

This sensor has no specific direction. Even better: it knows into which direction the impleller is spinning and some effects will also move with the speed/direction of the flow.
aqua computer just took the top spot for pc water cooling making ekwb now the second best. a year ago why not much reviews ? this should be every water cooling enthusiast first go to device.
Sure, you can connect as much as you want to the system. Every device from us will get its own tab in the software. You can also assign custom device names for a better overview.
@@huntedjohan Each device needs its own USB connection, you can not chain them. If your boards does not have enough internal USB 2.0 ports, you can use an internal USB hub like our HUBBY7 or a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 adapter if your board has such ports.
Worin besteht der Unterschied zw. cuplex kryos NEXT AM5/AM4, Nickel/Nickel und cuplex kryos NEXT AM4/3000/5000, Nickel/Nickel? Die Bohrungen sind gleich... müsste der ältere nicht einfach auf einen AM5 passen?
Bei der 3000/5000er Version sitzt der Kühler leicht versetzt, was auch durch eine Zeichnung in der Artikelbeschreibung zu sehen ist. Dieser Versatz ist bei AM5 CPUs kontraproduktiv. Eine Montage ist zwar möglich, aber würde keine optimale Kühlleistung bieten.

@@ViperFox_ Check the English manual of your mainboard, on page 31 ("USB 2.0 Header) you will find a schema. GND/NC is the side with the missing pin and on this side you have to connect the black wires. Our manual also shows a colored schema of a typical internal USB 2.0 port.

A direct mount on the top is only possible with our reservoirs. For other brands you have to use the standalone variant of LEAKSHIELD and connect a tube between the top of the reservoir and LEAKSHIELD.

Die Pumpe ist weiterhin verfügbar aber auf Grund der schwierigen Beschaffungssituation für diverse Elektronikkomponenten ergeben sich lange Lieferzeiten. Wenn man sicher weiß, dass man die Pumpe so oder so haben will, sollte man am besten einfach direkt bestellen um beim nächsten Produktionslauf nicht leer auszugehen.
@@Spock55000 Nein, das funktioniert nicht. Das geht nur mit aquastream Pumpen da deren Motor für eine Betriebsspannung von 12V ausgelegt. Das würde auch nicht an einer scheinbar identischen Eheim 1046 funktionieren da deren Motor ebenfalls nicht für 12V ausgelegt ist.
You can run two or more pumps in the same loop and also control them via the software. Using two LEAKSHIELDs in one loop is not possible because they will conflict with each other. LEAKSHIELD is not able to outperform the pressure that two D5 pumps will generate when they run at full speed. When using two D5 pumps with LEAKSHIELD, you should not operate them beyond 3700 rpm.

So I can't use two leak shield even though it is separated from each other? Just to clarify, I'm not running 2 pumps and leakshield in junction but separately. Thanks
В нормальных условиях эксплуатации вакуумный насос работает всего несколько секунд каждый день. Поэтому уровень шума практически не имеет значения. Вы также можете настроить устройство так, чтобы оно не откачивало воздух в определенные временные рамки (например, ночью).
