charging you for restocking when it wasn't even shipped yet? that's crazy! should of cancelled your CC and have a new one issued. that's what I did one time when a car rental company said they were gonna charge me for the extra days it took for my car to be fixed and the offender's insurance company wasn't going to pay for it.
@@KiziEwheels I sent you an email. Honestly I would rather spend my time testing and reviewing good brands and just delete bad brands and never work with them again.
My scooters were stolen, Nanrobot d4+2.0 and RS7+ 72v. I had no idea what to get, i bought a roadrunner RX7, fingers crossed. it said on their website the next batch was shipping today Friday. I checked and they had added a battery and case to my order. Guess i have to wait and see.
I remember you alerting viewers on this platform in one of your earlier videos about this company's cancelation policy, and it is unfortunate you became a victim of the very thing you were warning others about. This is off the charts 'hustling' considering the scooter was never shipped. $1,500 is the price of a scooter depending on the brand.....this is INSANITY!! So sorry that you became a victim of this outrageous policy, and I know it left a bitter taste in your mouth, but rest assured,it has helped others to take heed.
@KiziEwheels Another self-inflicted wound by RR made worse by existing complaints from several dissatisfied owners who are currently facing technical and quality control issues with their RX7. This cancelation policy further hurts their own image and brand and they have themselves to blame.
The biggest differentiator for electric scooter companies is customer service. I hope they watch this, take it to heart, and make changes so no one else has to go through what you had to. They should not treat you differently based on the fact that you’re making payments. At the end of the day, they are getting paid and you are paying full price. End of story. Ship it in the order that it was received.
I purchase my RX7 3 weeks ago, by mistake. Went to cancel as I was reading. They want to charge 20% and a 6% totaling to 26% for just canceling the order. That would be over $1,500 for something I never even seen in person, i paid a total of $4,150 money that should have been invested into Bonk or Shiba inu coin, what should I do?Should I take the loss. The coins I just mentioned are up over 30%. I lost 30%😢 And about to lose 26% to this company unbelievable.
Kizi Ewheels, sorry to hear that you went through nightmare with the seller. God told me that the reason why the scooter was not being delivered to you on time is because they were holding on the shipping to customers due to the controller problems on the RoadRunner RX7. It's a known issue, controller slowly taking out the motors. God told me that the Chinese civilian criminal owner of the RoadRunner scooter company was not aware how bad the materials used to build controllers are. They are metals that have poor electrical conductivity specific to handling current (amperage). The dual controllers also are not able to safely balance power output to both motors, causing damage to the motors and killing them slowly. The blueprint for making the dual controllers come from the same source as well, all from underground in China, run by the criminals. The operation for making these shit materials and the blueprint for making these controllers are run by Indonesian civilian criminal who used to live in Russia underground. He owned all these production underground in China. He is prounced dead now (days ago). God told me that the Chinese dude who owned RoadRunner was not able to find any other source to use a controller that solve this problem. This is very widespread. That is why so many dual-motor scooters failing with the motors and/or controllers.
Wow no freaking Way! Its ridiculous that they did that to you, And a 20% restocking fee for something that hasnt even shipped is a bunch of BS. I hope they dont hassle you anymore. I really was looking forward to giving this RX7 a chance but forget it now. There is more bad than good about this scooter and since i repair my own scooters i was ok with fixing and installing new parts but customer service is my number 1 priority for me specially when it comes to getting replacement parts, under warranty. This is why i am still doing business with voromotors since they gave me zero hassle to get replacement parts for my Inmotion RS Midnight. Im definitely going to stay away from Roadrunner. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with all of us. Now if anyone still chooses to get one of these after seeing all the issues it has plus the poor customer service? Then they are asking to deal with all the problems. Im glad you are speaking up about your experience and will share this on my channel so others can be warned about this experience. 🙏🙇♂️
@KiziEwheels absolutely, it would definitely sadden me as well specially when you are looking forward to supporting a company and they treat you bad giving you bad customer service, thats were things go downhill for a customer to company relationship.
Thanks for sharing! I have yet to buy my first scooter but this is becoming all too common. I’ve experienced this with e-bike/emoto companies too - Lyric is a company to stay away from as well. They made my life hell and I went through a very similar experience.
Some PEV companies are asking customers to pay premium prices for their products, but they don't provide premium customer service to match the high price tags.
@KiziEwheels This company's customer service is definitely not comparable to the prices for their high-end scooters. Poor customer service will eventually have a negative impact on future sales. It is all ABOUT THE BENJAMINS in the short run,and the essential customer service post-sales be damned.
It was hard for me to share this experience because talking about it feels like reliving it all over again. I think I put too much faith in Dale and what Roadrunner Scooters was aiming for with the RX7.
I saw some reviews of the Roadrunner RX7 and was willing to give it a chance, as long as the customer service was top-notch, like at MinimotorsUSA. The experience still hurts to this day. I don't think I can even get excited about buying new scooters anymore.
@@KiziEwheels its difficult for sure. My first experience was voromotors with the kaabo wolf king gtr. Sucks because I wanted them to be great for me (I'm sure they sre for other customers) and while the owner was cool I no longer trusted voromotors the company after what I experienced. I trust Wyrd Ryds, a small shop in Virginia, and those guys have been amazing for anything I've needed or been concerned about since having my scooter. I hope I can trust other places equally in the future but it's still a roll of the dice for sure. Never know until you realize they don't care and have your money and a sub par product of theirs
@@cocoabiscuits God told me you didn't buy Wolf King GTR from Voromotors. You did however buy Wolf King GT from Voromotors in the past, and got bad experience due to scooter troubles with the controllers and motors. God told me you purchased the GTR "used" from an online seller and it was not Voromotor. When you got that GTR it was a problematic controller scooter but was functioning when you got it. You rode it for a bit and charged it using a custom fast charger at 20A. You cooked the batteries so you sold the scooter to an online place where they take used scooters. You then bought an used Nami Burn-E Max 2 scooter from online and that scooter is now acting up, getting intermittent motor failure (due to controllers). So you are looking for a new scooter. It's not nice of you keep attacking Voromotors for something you didn't buy from... Lying is not a good practice. And don't look for any scooter other than buying a brand new Dualtron Ultra 2 Upgrade or X Limited. Those are controllers bullet-proof. Or you can look for a Chinese 1200W rear-motor driven scooter for about $850~ 900. Single motor scooters don't usually fail because the dual motor power balancing issue is non-existent. Or stick with that Nami Burn-E and replace the motors and the controllers with a single-motor powered BLDC controller from Aliexpress, a 150A should be good and solid (enough headroom to handle load and heat), and a 52V 2000W motor. Replace the front motor with just a motorless alloy wheel. It's a lot cheaper route... If you get scooters other than the ones I suggested you'll have same controller problems again and again because the materials come from the same source.
