Shit build and shit weapon. Sure, you’ve found a way to mitigate the bleed so it doesn’t kill you but you’re walking in slow motion constantly & the screen darkens. Not worth it, Backfire is great for one thing - deconstructing for exotic components.
You can use it with striker too, ninjabackpack, picaro holster(double skill tier rolled/kneepads for 75 rnds, and 2 armor and 1 skill striker, shield/healing drone. Been messing with it though that was build in a group
The Backfire is not worth using, Hunters Fury is one of my favourite builds in the game, I would never use the chest though, I would use Intimidate with the Momento(if playing solo) and a Dark Winter, the CMG Banshee is really good now with the buff it has just had in the latesst patch and either of these smg's would do more damage than the Backfire even with 3 Blue cores on the build.
bro i found this out by accident too coz i played around with my backfire + bloodsucker + armor on kill build and i noticed at the end when i have over 350 critical damage... i dont suffer the bleed anymore. this makes perfect sense!
For my builds I usually go like this Braced, trauma, sadist, eyeless, empowered & opportunist To get the same tight spread you have. Would you say some of my choices are worth switching out? (I usually go for unhinged as a red skill too)
You don’t need 60% crit chance. The maximum you need is 50+. 9/10 times someone is running the coyote’s mask so you are losing out on more crit damage by running too much crit chance. The maximum amount of crit chance I run is 52%. The extra 8% will not get you that many more crits. As long as you have to where half your mag hits a crit, that’s more than enough. People run hazard protection to avoid the slowing from bleed. Slowing down the experience just makes the experience worse for everyone.
Bro with 90 percent hazard protection and around 60 percent crit hit damage ı can hit up to 1 m crit hit damage with striker set. :( and ı am immune all status effetcs. Hunters emp, incursion boss wrights hardened foam anyting can’t hold you.
Backfire is still entirely USELESS. This is because the stacks only last for 10 seconds, and they always run out before you can continue stacking or keep them active. Just watch your own video. You never even reach 100 stacks, let alone 200... haha. If the duration was around 30 seconds or 50, perhaps it would make more sense to use it. It would be interesting if there was any way to add the duration time, allowing for the creation of a build where this duration time can be amplified.
2:06 * 4 piece hunter fury: mask, chest, gloves and knee * Memento backpack * Picard's holster And like he suggested, prioritize getting your CHC close to 60, then CHD after that And Gunner specialization instead of the firebrand
I think you misunderstood what other RU-vidrs mentioning about backfire. lots of players don't like bleeding effect while shooting in group play so they suggested builds with hazard protection. if you play as group, its really hard to get full stack.
I use a strikers build with hazpro on all four pieces, 2pc ceska (one with hazard protection) and a couple bleed resist mods. at 200 backfire stacks the crits to the body are 1.3 million and theres no bleed at all
For one I love the backfire but I like to build around it my one hazard build I have 54 chc and 162 chd with 90%hazard and one bleed mod for 100 so I do have upfront damage and run bloodsucker on backpack for bonus armour my other is with 20% armour on kill and 57chc 135chd so not bad
I have every Exotic I also have the Backfire but the thing about it whenever you use it will make you bleed I don’t know y it dose it instead of not effecting the enemies
That's the down side because you're getting that crazy high Critical Hit Damage from the talent, you can get 100% Hazard Protection or Bleed Resistance to negate that effect!
I’ve tried so many builds with backfire, but in the end I destroyed for the comp. Only way that gun will ever be viable is if: 1. They double the damage on it 2. Remove bleed effect
Nobody lies, sorry mate u didn't show anything new,99% dont like bleed effect constantly red screen is just fuckin annoying, 4 pieces striker stack faster sokolow chest ,yahlll , 10 aok is enough when u know how to play, sorry is just another idiotic attempt to show of, Backfire has at least 5 great builds if u will
This is just a gimmick but for a high RoF shotgun have you tried Steady Handed for the authentic div1 Showstopper experience? If a shotgun can hit more tight at range then the low damage can be compensated i guess
Thanks for the clarification. I would have never considered this, because I am slow when it comes to number crunching. Thanks for the tip. Keep grinding my guy
Hi, Very good video on the comparison of these two talents as powerful as each other. Vigilance is more popular because it doesn't need to be stacked however I prefer Unstoppable Force which can be maintained even if taking damage. I read in the comments that you prefer Close and Personal on shotguns I agree with you and for me the only one who deserves or would deserve to play with Pummel is the KSG because it has enormous firepower but very long to recharge. A lot of people put it in fast hand so that it reloads faster, but I prefer Pummel on a KSG.
@@ibraxena i was trying chatterbox with hunters fury, kinda similar to this build but dmg and survivability in hero squad was kinda bad, the build looks good. maybe i should try hard hitting weapon.
ARs should never be used with HF. Ever. Use Smgs or shotties with HF, never ARs. ARs are designed for mid to long range which defeats the purpose of HF. Striker and coyotes mask are WAY better for the Elmo’s than this. Significantly better
Striker is definitely better in terms of damage but i want extra survivability and play close range combat with this weapon. This video is just showing how powerful Hunter's Fury is, even with "wrong" weapon type, it's still viable for Heroic 5 Directives contents.
I love your build! I personally run 3-Striker, 1-Ninjabike, and the other two pure damage with unbreakable. I love the rate of fire the striker build has-- St. Elmos Engine goes from 850 to 956 rpms. Makes a difference how fast you melt the enemy.
i use .45 smg with 10 damge to enemies out of cover and flatline on ky chest spotter and memento plus good shotgun as secondary or kingbreaker whitch hits woth this build aroud 1.4M crits lol and smg over 800k crits with insane rpm
Have you tried this build with pummel or its perfect version? I wonder how it would do instead of close and personal. Keep up the content mate, much love from down under 👍
Ok so...Pummel give you potentially 10% more Weapon Damage but only specific contents with lots of NPCs can make this talent outperformed Close & Personal. Perfect Pummel can be good with the right build but again, Pummel or Perfect Pummel requires more NPCs to kill, harder to maintain.
I can attest that AR's are good with Hunter's Fury despite of not receiving an Assault Rifle damage boost from the set since I run them on my Sparkfury loadout. Also, I can see St. Elmo's Engine being useful in a True Patriot loadout due to how it expands the Magazine size turning the AR into a more stable and accurate pseudo-LMG.
Sadly some people thought HF only for SMG & SG... TP Elmo's is a thing but i will prefer Scorpio since TP only used for buffing, so i'll pair it with Scorpio & P. Opportunistic.
@@ibraxena I have learned to use it outside of its intended weapons. Having an AR on Hunter's Fury is nice to shred those heavies, warhounds or to swiftly take out a sniper at range in PvE. Often, I'd pair my HF loadout with a Demolitionist specialization since the Grenade Launcher is a useful delete button for Warhounds or those mobile robot turrets. In particular, the annoying sniper warhounds. I think I'm now motivated to try a TP Elmo loadout. True Patriot was my first gear set that I enjoyed playing with.
