My hope here at Around Tuit RC is to deliver the best RC knowledge that I can and give it to you in an open and pleasant way.
Candy and I have been publishing RC videos for over the last five years so we're not new to this, and hope you will enjoy the entertainment along the way.
As always, I'm glad you got to see me and keep on flying!
They're not CNCed cause you don't understand CNC programing. Don't fault me because I can write a few lines of code. It is admirable you took the time, as a hobbyist to machine them without any electronics. (If you did) But if you want to earn a living manufacturing internal combustion engines you're going to need volume of manufacture. It's just for fun otherwise
The Firebird phantom was my first hobbygrade rc plane. I remember I saved all summer for it and bought it at Hobbytown USA for $70. It was late when I finally got home but I stayed up all night just looking at it and imagine how it would fly. It seemed like such a large airplane to me at the time. First flight I crashed and broke the carbon tube for the v tail. My dad had the idea to use the fuselage as an airboat. Bought a sheet of foam and cut out a hull, soon enough we had a functional airboat. Good times. Got it stuck in some lillypads and dear old dad had to go swimming for it in one of the nastiest lakes lol. Thanks dad, I owe ya
Unfortunately, either of the links provided won’t take anyone to a site that would enable you to order any of the engines observed in the video, but instead forwards you to a commercial diesel website.
