You should put up another affliliate link again for the gloves. I reckon a lot of people watching this would click it. I know that I for one am returning to this episode to find them.
So For a wheelset I'm looking at Farsport EVO S 5. They offer Ceramicspeed and Steel options for bearings. I ride in Boston MA with dry and wet weather. Hearing you talk in this video this leads me to pay $200 more for the Ceramicspeed. The wheel description states "Hub Weather Sealing Design". Is this marketing tactic? Wanted your opinion.
Clubs in any genre are cliquey at best, from clubs turning up to fast group rides which all could join & taking over, to trying to join one and not being welcome, at best it can be a really good experience at worst HELL - tho they do give you great experience at holding a wheel and riding in close proximity which soo many can fail on!
I think she read the room wrong there… The comments will be how stupid it is to bring the environment into the conversation talking about incredibly low impact electronic shifting. Crunching my tongue for what I want to say!!! 😁😁
My shoes take days to dry... I'm seriously tempted (again) to get a shoe dryer. There's nothing like that "ugggghhhhh" feeling of putting on wet shoes.
Now that they mention it, all the chain waxing videos Ive seen are with quick links. Is it possible to do a hot wax with just a chain tool? Btw, Ive never had a road bike so IDK if there are road bikes that dont have quick links.
I find my disc S-Works slower than my rim-brake S-Works, this is fact in everyway. While disc brakes are great for downhill, when it comes to crit racing and flat terrain, I prefer rim brakes for that extra speed advantage. Every little edge matters. Plus, I’m not a fan of having to charge electronic components. Sometimes, I miss the simplicity of a fast, no-fuss setup. Carbon wheels are a must, though!
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
A like performance. I'm not a pro, i don't race, but i like my 7.1kg fast bike! I also love ny 15.6 kg steel bike And all my other bikes. Different bike vibes feel different and fun to experience those different vibes
I disagree about once you’ve experienced disc brakes and electronic shifting you will never go back. I sold my electronic groupsets and have now got Dura Ace 9100 mechanical on my bikes and it is just as good and never goes out of tune. My disc bike rarely leaves the garage as I hate the look of it and really enjoy riding Dura Ace carbon tubular wheels. I race and train on them in dry and wet conditions and use them in the alps and find the braking superb. I find it sad that people are paying thousands for a bike now which is complicated and heavy when you can build a pro level 2019 bike up second hand for about a grand.
The thing is, that developping 7w/kg during 45mn is not human. Also material weight did'nt change that much since the 90's. Pantini's bike was about 7kg, so in mountain, we can't say that material explains the new records. I have also to recall that Armstrong never get controlled positiv during is career. I don't know why the new "prodigies" could not use the same method used twenty years ago. Dopping must have improved as well as the material in time, don't you think ?
You mate, are just confirming the reputation the English have in Australia as "whinging bloody poms". Even my English father in law said to me recently that poms are whingers. There seems to be a real negativity in England in general. If you look at Lachy, even at the end of 500 km days, he stays positive. Be like Lachy.
Whinging effing Pom!!! Lachy won unbound, and as I write this he's almost halfway into his 'round Australia ride, and average 500kms a day. Yesterday he rode 448 kms and averaged 35 kph for 12 hours and 45 minutes, in the top end of Australia in extreme heat. Most Poms would drop dead on the side of the road just standing there 😂
I use $10.00 tinted wraparound safety glasses from a hardware store for sunny days, and clear safety glasses for cloudy days. They work great and it doesn't matter if they are broken or lost.
Hilariously naive thoughts/comments from the bearded dude. None of the cyclists he lists as comparable has such a diverse array of cycling accomplishments as LM. It’s his extraordinary achievements that have thrust him into our view.
You need to know what a quality frame feels like. I recently bought a new bike (Look) and can't believe how much better it seems the frame is. The old one had carbon wheels and 105 like the new, so it has to be the frame.....If your buying discounted upgrade parts be careful of knock offs.
Actually I have a Specialized Tarmac SL6 and been thinking of changing to something which accomodate 32 and higher. My reason is because I believe that wider tyre is less prone to punctures? Am I correcT?
Agreed, friendships are being lost due to this crap that strava has become. Indeed it creates this gap between casual riding and competion and it's crap.
Lachlan Morton is completely underrated. The man is crushing ultra cycling and making Cannondale money on the off season. All I have to list off is his feat at “The Alt Tour,” “The Divide,” and now “Around Australia.” I’m sorry, but for as purist as the French are about the tour, my boy Lachy showed them how it was done and beat the peloton to Paris by five days! Five Days! #Underrated
pogadope, bike pantani 6.8kg if left positivly 1'30 pogadope stille put 1'30 on one guy totaly dope, with EPO,testosterone, coritsone, kill pain ... just thinking.
Sorry but this shows just how naive you guys are. Ribble are pretty local to me and I've been buying bits from them for over 20 years. Never thought about buying one of their bikes though... until recently.
