Hi! Good day! I wrote a novel, titled: Archangel world at war. I watched your informative videos and it's my pleasure that someday you will review my book on one of your vog. It was not edited yet, nevertheless I published it to major EReading apps like Amazon and Kobo. Thank you in advance. Hopefully I can send you a physical copy in the final format of my book in the future. God bless.

This is my first Stephen King book and idk I just found Holly the character the person the book is named after really boring. I'm in chapter 5 I want to say and I'm just tired of hearing about the sickness and trump, Like I get it you don't like him can we get back to being an investigator already? Like it always somehow loops back into those 2 things be it her mother or the case she's working on. I found so far the chapters dealing with the old couple more interesting because I don't know what they are trying to do besides kidnap people, But I just don't care to keep going. I feel like I made a mistake buying this book and may shy away from buying more SK books in the future.

That’s unfortunate. I would suggest trying some of his earlier novels before wearing off him entirely.

"The Kindness" giving "Needful Things " vibes? I saw "I Was a Teenage Slasher" at the book store but held off - looking forward to your review of it (all of them, really)! Curious: What is it about small town settings in horror that you're drawn to?
@jimmymango
@jimmymango 12 дней назад
Hmmm…I’d say probably because I’ve lived in a small town for the vast majority of my life so the setting and characters relate to me.

If you like Richard Chizmar, you might want to read Widow's Point - I thought it was excellent! Also, Ronald Malfi is a brilliant author - other recommendations if you liked Small Town Horror: Black Mouth (also excellent, if you ask me), and (if you like novellas) They Lurk. Can't wait to dig into Oracle, I loved Hex and Echo by Thomas Olde Heuvelt! Enjoy the spooky season! ;-)

Hey, Jimmy! Hearing that you like slashers, I wanted to quickly suggest David Sodergren. I just read his first novel, Forgotten Island, and it read like a B-Horror movie. It's a quick and fast-paced read, around 200+ pages, and if you haven't encountered him yet, I highly recommend him. Keep up the content! Your videos always inspire me to read more.

I read The Kindness in Swedish, and I adored it. It was a blast to read through and some of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s all time best character work. Though, don’t expect any horror, just a heads up. And cool to see a Clive Barker book in your bookshelves!

I'm visually impaired and use audiobooks...Dean Koontz, amazing as long as you get a good narrator like Stephen Lang. Love the fact Koontz puts dogs in his novels. I'm a great fan of Richard Laymon and yes you got it perfect, he can get slightly crude, lol. The rest of your list, never heard of, so am going through ordering as I type. Thank you (I know I'm a year late)

Hello, :). My name is Laura and I'm a book writer, I've published my books on the Amazon site as e-books. Blue Eyes is a great story about a Viking ghost who got trapped in his old home and years and years later someone can finally see him. But why? It says a lot about remorse, family issues, spirituality, love, and redemption.

I’ve tried three King books, The Shining, The Gunslinger and another decades ago (I think it may have been Dead Zone). The Shining is the only one I finished and it didn’t really grab me. It took me quite a while to finish. Several of his books sound like they would be interesting but I’m afraid his writing style might just not be for me.

was biting my lip after 4 chapters. being preached to by stephen king every page was unexpected, but having read 'fairytale' i should have known better. its like king's read many good female thriller writers, and here's holly, who wouldn't have been original in the nineties. a very obvious angry book which depended on the reader passively going along with humble bragging 2d heroes and a plot that held no surprises, thrills, enjoyment and originality at any point.

Last week, I read *11/22/63* and I can't stop thinking about it. I've tried picking up other books, but nothing compares. I was completely absorbed and loved every moment. I can't remember the last time a book captivated me like this. I'm definitely going to check out the books in your top 10. Thanks for the recommendations.

Hey, i have a question. I read The Stand, The Eyes of the Dragon, Salem's Lot, It, and like 10 more books that's not mentioned in video. Sadly other books you mention for expanded dark tower series are not available in my native language and i prefer to read in my native language. So my question is: is it enough to understand The Dark Tower? I bought it couple a days ago and now i am scared that i don't gonna catch everything. 😕
