The easiest way to spot fakes online is noticing the chronograph tenths hand is usually not at midnight, like it should, since the movement is different (probably a seiko or citizen, with a 24h complication)
I BOUGHT Elikliv EM4K 8". If base lights not turned on for 100% there is noise beep like . if base lights at 100% brightness noise high pitch disappears .. Do you have same issue?
THANK YOU‼️ I experienced a nightmare when this happened tonight. Throughout most of a live show I tried to remove the battery with no success. Then I watched your video, got a small piece of double sided tape and lifted the lever. The battery was removed in 10 seconds!
Is the rotor of the miyota movement in m79 still noisy? I have a timex waterburry automatic, it rattles like hell. So i didn't want to buy another timex automatic until the movement improves.
I saw the fake in actual and the strap really looks way off. Im not really sure but it seems majority of the legit ones have a shiny strap, while in the fakes they can't really copy that shiny effect. How come the fake makers don't consider that one lol
I have the white dial version of this watch aq4100-65w. Best watch ive ever owned and has made me not even wear my other watches GS included. Its insanely comfortable and incredibly scratch resistant considering my work as a mechanic . Interestingly this model did away with the polished outer edges of the centre links?
@@cinderhelm yeah the clasp and fold over arm is easily the weakest point of the watch . Got a feeling they don't treat that section, after a couple days already scratched up but doesn't seem to get worse .
I guess there had to be a flaw somewhere. Just got mine a couple days ago and was surprised to see a bunch of lines in that area already. All the marks exactly line up with where the links make contact with it. But thanks for confirming! Not too many people with this watch to ask questions about.
Well,for a 30$ fake you don’t loose a lot,almost looks the same,scratches as easy as the original,falls apart like the original. Great looking watch but i’m happier for 30$ and worry less.
Very helpful video! I'm looking at buying the 4k with the boom arm & ring light. Elikliv also just came out with a 4k model that has autofocus, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money for just that convenience.
@@gadgetbeacon My biggest concern is if I end up fighting the autofocus get it to focus where I want in some situations. I'm seeing a $60-$70 price difference just to pickup autofocus. I'll get the 4k model without autofocus.
@@gadgetbeacon 1545. Price About $900. In the video, the hroudland finish (I think) is similar in quality. The sw200 mechanism in both models. So why buy a squale?
@@olesjas6381 In terms of myself as a watch nerd, I look at watches in the following ways: Heritage/Brand Movement Aesthetic/Design Price I don't mind an Ali-Express watch every now and then, but if given the choice I would prefer to go with a brand with heritage and history that has contributed something to the watch world in a meaningful way. Squale is a very important brand in terms of their impact on modern watch design in my opinion.
I do believe they is no coating on the crystals because it tends to work against the dial. I have one of their Tourbillions with that dial and it has none.

Don't normally like white dials ,but this for some reason I do like(Jody's put a watch spell on me) and seeing I haven't a white dial in my collection I think I might get this watch. Cheers on a great review.
Mine (black dial) is running at +2 seconds per day. I have no complaints about it. I bought it thinking that I'd like it, but it's actually one of my favorite watches ever. You really can't appreciate how nice it is until you wear it for a couple of hours. I'm definitely happy that I pulled the trigger on this onel
Beautiful, pro-level video! Luckily for my bank account, the color of the dial is too grey for me, and the washi paper's hairy surface texture is a positive turnoff. I'm sure many others will feel differently.
This is ST-25. Usually well made, the design is simple and reliable. Most likely easy repair, but who would like to pay to repair a brand new watch? It’s always a gamble. Not just Chinese watches, Russian as well and all sent from dealers abroad. Vostok watches are known for bad auto winders and the best way is to know how to fix them. Easier than returning them anyway. Never had one with serious issue, but MOST had minor issues. I ordered my Sugess just now, I hope I get a good one :)
They’re watches are impressively made. The lack of anti reflective coating is sad. It is difficult to look at their watches because of the glare. A simple fix.
