When you order oxygen absorbers how do they work? They come in a big bag so you take one pack out. Do you have to do something to activate it? Thanks

Works great if you pay attention to instructions. ru-vid.comUgkxviiltW7NlHbp_VL_bLbIkbLAvILVhnia For those that complain about "mushy" or "wet" rice I suspect they are using the included cup to measure rice (which is really only 3/4 cup) and then putting in water using a separate measuring cup that is a full cup. This results in too much water and you will get mushy or wet rice and think it is not done. Just use the included cup for both rice and water, or your own measuring cup for rice and water according to your package directions. It will come out fine. I've used mine for years for brown and white rice. If your machine is bubbling white froth out of the steam vent then it means you should have rinsed your brand of rice first to remove some of the starch. Sheesh. Makes me wonder how people can cook well enough to feed themselves.

I made your bread and all was well mixing it and it coming together. Unfortunately when I placed it in the pans, it didn't rise for the second time. I watched your video again and I think it could be that I didn't roll the dough out, I just shaped it and placed it in the pans. Also my wheat is very old, could that be the problem?

vermiculite is way way too expensive.. especially if yer trying to fill a raised bed - (8x4x1) or bigger and then do a bunch of pots and 5gal buckets.. so i find Mel's mix a big hype!

Very misleading the shelf life on the right is no more than I buy now. The whole point of emergency prepping is you don't know when. The bucket on the left if unopened is good for 30 years. And includes a massive variety of entree meals. She only chose to show pathetically prepared examples. So this blond ( figures) wants you to pay $300 for food that is not shelf stable and this is a service? Beauty school dropout!
@paw9568
@paw9568 Год назад
She's Spreading misinformation, augason farms buckets "upto 30 years" does not mean 1-8 years, The shortest shelf life item in the bucket is 10 years, rest is 25-30 years. An the emergency essentials may be more expensive but has the same food as augason farm. You're buying brand names. The DIY or normal food isn't long term shelf life like the buckets and those will last a max of TWO YEARS, if you're looking to store food, don't listen to these bimbos.

Question what is the average expiration of powdered milk vrs store bought milk?
@HolinessFellowshipmeeting31
Hi Kristal, my name is Torey Perschall. I have a question about the Bosch mixer. When the bread is needing in your Bosch, is that normal for it to rock why it needs? And, why does the Bosch mixer blow air through it while it is running.?

Hi my name is torey perschall. I’m blind and wanting to make bread with my Bosch mixer. What is the purpose of the Bosch bogging den while needing🥰

I know you made this video many years ago, but want you to know it is still helping folks. I will be trying my first batch of homemade yogurt in the next couple of days, and like the idea of using a crockpot rather than the stovetop method. I really appreciate the hints on approximate timing for the different stages, but will be using a thermometer to make sure I don't ruin the cultures. Nice to know about the curdling and no stirring. I bought a good quality organic yogurt (Stoneyfield) as a starter so it will have a variety of different types of cultures. Thank you for such an informative video!

You can tell these two are not the brightest, you should be using binder clips, or chip bag clips to close up packages and put them back into in the bucket. Like come on y’all, I know you’re smarter than that.

If you are reading this thinking about one of these buckets make your own! Just by the individual long-term foods you'll get a better deal that way. I also recommend mountain House if you want something edible easy and nutritious. Looking to mountain House freeze drag meals pick up two every week and throw them in your supply before you know it you'll have a ton of them. They taste delicious so don't be surprised if you end up eating one here and there.

I gotta disagree on the MREs. You don't have to cook the MREs. And most MREs have a heating pack like mechanism that literally heats up the food. Just add water. Also 72 hours under what conditions? There are many bug out scenarios. Cold conditions, family with children who are not going to eat ration bars for 3 days straight, etc. Now, I understand she only had a few mins to cover everything, but it seemed like she was saying ration bars are the Only way to go and that's just not the case.
