Aquarium fish are so beautiful and relaxing. I remember getting my first fish tank when I was 8 years old. I can still see the hatchet fish at the top of the water with 2 corys always looking for a snack somewhere in the gravel. In the middle of the tank were a school of neon tetras.

Well fast forward a few decades later and here we are. In this channel, I want to just share my thoughts about all things aquarium fish. I hope you will join me and share your comments as we all always have something new to learn.
I bought 10 cardinals together with 10 black tetras. On a 240 L tank that i bought 15 days ago.. and after 3 days all my 10 cardinal diead.. dunno why.. and all the 10 black ones still lives and looks healthy...
Last week released 4 pairs of harlequin rasboras to my betta tank. Eating ok but not moving much(harlequin). Each harlequin fish is fixed in a different place. Is this a problem or are harlequins naturally less mobile?
Yeah, tankmates. Don't get an electric blue cichlid with an oscar. I bought them at the same time and yeah the next day, the blue cichlid was missing. My oscars looked like they were smiling at me like hahah, he was delicious.
They literally water puppies. When I wake up in the morning, and see them first, my oscars are literally trying to jump out of their tank :) and begging :)
Can't get over the poeple crying in the comments lol, if this variety was really suffering so much, they wouldnt be able to live and breed, take it as a part of their bodies, they don't suffer bro, its just how they are built

I've had glass 100 gallon clown loach tank for 25 years, I've had as few as 3 and as many as 13 in the tank at once,of the original 3 that I started with, all lived 20+ years with 1 still alive, he's totally blind and has been for the last 5 or 6 years, I have 7 other clown loaches in the tank and all are teenagers, I've always run 2 hang on back filters simultaneously with one under cabinet filter, 2 strong air sucking power heads circulate the tank, they're fed once in the evening and their diet consists of daily sinking shrimp pellets and wafer crisp flakes with frozen bloodworms as a treat 2-4 times a week depending on their behavior lol, they really love bloodworms, I do a 30 gallon water change every 4 to 6 weeks, alternating the cleaning of the 2 HoB filters and the 1 under cab filter, they've had a variety of tank mates over the years, a bala shark (5yrs), a leaf fish (9yrs), a Chinese and as Siamese algae eater at separate times, both lived 7 years, two large plecostomus (15&16yrs) and several others I cried over the deaths of two of my original three loaches, my Chinese algae eater Lemonhead and my two plecos, so Yes, fish deaths can break your heart The Chinese algae eater was the hardest working fish I ever had, he constantly was working for me, he took no breaks, he cleaned the whole tank, it's funny cuz I got the pleco's cuz I was told they cleaned the tank, they don't, they're lazy, they slept all day and waited till the evening feed when I dropped algae wafers in, then they'd wake up, they were lazy but I loved them, they sure exploited the work ethic of Lemonhead. Pretty good list with some pretty good info, and I like that you also included potential issues like if they’re sensitive to water conditions or potentially aggressive towards tank mates.
Haven’t watched the video yet but I skimmed through the list and was pleasantly surprised by the results! So many people would list species that just aren’t suitable for a 10 gallon tank due to their size and/or activity level, but this list seems to be pretty decent for the most part 👍
What do you think about a Balloon molly with a male Betta? I love the Cory catfish because they don’t go after the algae that my Zebra Nerite snail wants. The snail is my algae eater, and I want to make sure it has enough to eat. So, I just want some bottom feeders or non-competitive others.

I learned they are okay in brackish water and prefer to breed in more tannic water. I have the GloFish Pristellas and they are awesome and docile! Thanks.
