Hello, i tried using this but the system still doesnt work for me. I dont know what i specifically did get wrong. Maybe its because i use a ethernet poort or something with offsets that i didnt take into account. But after it gives a offset of -1,26.... It adjusted that number too -2361,00 consistently. Does anyone have some clues why this could be?
@jeroenbeskers3012
@jeroenbeskers3012 22 дня назад
Another note, it only does this in the negative direction of the y and x axis. The positive gives the correct adjusted offset. The correct one looks like 2,27 while the incorrect version is -227,0

Ok, I find a way to solve the problem without any modification for you guys who using usb: If you have problem on -Y and -X with 10x more numbers (like 320mm) it´s JUST the "VarStandOff" on the start. I dont know why but cause this issue if you set at "1.27" but if you set without "dot" it goes ok and everything perfect.. So I set everythink in solid number (MM) and going to share for all of you (obs: I set probe and thick to 0 as I use outside). Just change this values on the first part (you can only change the Varprobedia, but I prefer do everything without "dot": FOR: -X -Y X and Y: VarMaxDistance = 25 VarFeedRate = 127 VarStandOff = 2 VarProbeDia = 0 VarGageThick = 0 --- FOR EXTERNAL (circle or not)): VarMaxDistance = 25 VarFeedRate = 127 VarStandOff = 2 VarProbeDia = 0 VarGageThick = 0 VarApproxSpan = 0 VarSafetyGap = 6 --- FOR INTERNAL (circle or not): VarMaxXDistance = 147 VarMaxYDistance = 223 VarFeedRate = 127 VarProbeDia = 0 VarGageThick = 0 Hope I help you on something.

I suggest a project Explaining the Tool Change Macro with only 2 or 3 tools listed. From Starting to End. I have not still been able to understand that core concept yet. If you are interested in future, may be..! Below concepts are still unclear at least to me..! 1 Saving the Point at which the Spindle Stopped, when a tool change command is found in Gcode, to return after changing the tool..! 2 Combination Of "T" Number and "M6" and "M5" Codes , How it is executed..! 3 Setting Tool Change Locations 4 Docking the Old Tool (Its Location and Movement during and after that) 5 Getting the New Tool (Its Location and Movement during and after that) 6 Drawbar Operation Concept 7 Length Compensation..etc I think it is a vast subject for a series of Videos..! Charlie, I use your Auto-Z ALL the time. A really nice feature is during an op that requires a toolchange, while the program is paused, I can change out a tool in a collet, Run the Auto-Z to set the tool length, use the arrow keys to move around and/or issue commands, and when I hit cycle start, the tool returns to the next step in the program from wherever, just like it was never interrupted (not having an ATC). You have saved me HOURS of time with your help. I look forward to editing my screens, because this vid is a wealth of info, and I have downloaded it for a reference. does external center covers outside diameter of a circle?. i noticed internal center does have circle option
@sunny5rising
@sunny5rising 7 месяцев назад
Helo Rengan, the external center script can be used to check diameter, i just didn't program it to do it automatically (for safety reasons). To check diameter, run the X-Span, then the Y-Span. This will center the probe. After that, again run the X-span (making sure to not move the Y axis when resetting the probe up), then check the X-Span reading. Run the Y-Span again (making sure not to move the X axis) and take its reading. Those last two span readings will show the diameter on their particular axes.

Hello cclouds. Glad you find the video and scripts useful. I'm assuming you are using Rev22 of the Z Script. Within this script you'll see that line 114 is Code "G91 G1 Z#102 F[#101*2]". With the feed code F[#101*2], #101 is the Feedrate Variable and the *2 (times 2) is the multiple. You can edit the *2 to *3 or *4 (or whatever multiple you wish) to increase the up speed. Example : Code "G91 G1 Z#102 F[#101*4]". Hope that helps you out.

Hi Sir, I can see you are an expert..! I hope you can help me..! Can you demystify some of my worries..? There is lot of confusion regarding the reliability and consistency of mach3 as it is PC based and USB or Parallel port.! Lot of people say that it may behave funny in the middle of a project and it may ruin the entire job..! which can be caused by slight voltage spikes from nearby high power accessories like VFD or Motors. And relying fully on PC for CNC operation is not recommended. I am so worried about all these..! I am not sure how much immunity against such HF-RF Noise shielded cables can offer..! But dedicated CNC controllers like Masso and RichAuto are insanely priced.! and I don't have access to USA or Euro Based other CNC Controllers here..! People have also mentioned that If signal voltage is high (24v or higher) It can withstand such interferences..! But mach3 operates at 5V only..! So there is high chance of signal contamination..! Is that a huge concern..? Mach3 Boards are affordable. But If I cant use them for longer projects , then there is no point in spending money for all the parts which are still expensive..! I am so worried..! Secondly, I have seen in videos that The baud rate that mach3 communicates at , is not adequate to drive powerful servos..! ! So Only steppers at low power application is possible with Mach3. That is so discouraging..! Can you help me?

Sasa sasa. Hello. To date, I have had no problems using Mach3 with my CNC. My only experience with Mach3 is with the machine I currently use (been about 6 or so years) and helping others (with programming and such). My particular setup is a small 3020 CNC using the parallel port. The operating system on my CNC's PC is Windows XP. I mainly do Engraving with it, so my run times are not very long (probably up to 15 minutes at most). I have not experienced the issues/concerns you have mentioned, so I do not have any information to help with noise interference, voltage concerns, or USB connected systems. There are other creators here on RU-vid that use Mach3 and have bigger machines and are running much longer programs than myself. Sorry I don't have more information for you.

How do you setup the voice in Mach3? I see there are some settings in the config for speech and wave files, but no information about how to use it. I did something similar to my 3D printer some years ago, video of it here; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yVxZPbZO_mY.html

RegPye, the only way that I have used the audio within Mach3 is by use of the internal script functions Speak() and PlayWave(), as they are used in my Z script here. The use of audio in your 3D Printer video is interesting. I would say the same could be done with Mach3 through either scripting alone, or with a combination use of scripting and Gcode. Depending on how you wanted to do it.
