Born and raised in Houston, but Donna will always be my home away from home 🌴🌴🌴🌴. I got a bit emotional at the beginning, right away I recognized Main St. my grandparents house is the the one on the right hand side at 0:43 across from the church and school🥹.
Maccallen pd always arrest people for nooot razón Noooooooot profesional Noooooooot investigation Arole ever Worse cops eveer Becarful whit them Bad gang whit power abusers
Meadow mice happen to be called voles, ya see. And voles could make the best pets to be fed as much plants to keep their delicacies a healthy mental balance. Ya know, at times I wish I could born a herbivore instead an omnivore, that way I don't want to be livin' in the guilt of enjoying to eat meat and fruits, especially meat.
Just learned about these precious little fluffballs. Unfortunately it's currently hybernation season for them, but maybe I'll look for them in the spring.
McAllen is an amazing place to live. I used to live there but now I live in a city right next to McAllen. I have gone to downtown McAllen multiple times!
Lawrencian here: it must’ve been a very slow day downtown when you filmed this. The section near the lawrence public library is one of the busiest bus terminal areas, so it’s a little surprising how slow it seemed, lol. Great video.
The RGV is great, not much to do but you are about 3 hours away from Monterrey, Mexico by car and the Mexican food is great. We are geographically isolated from the political and racial issues affecting the rest of the country. If you can work remotely your paycheck goes a lot farther down here. We have some of the lowest crime rates in the nation.
Thanks for taking us on the ride. You have a beautiful city to be proud of. I wonder if anyone else is old enough to remember the song in the 70's by Loretta Lynn (Here in Topeka, the screen door's a-bangin' The coffee's boilin' over and the wash needs a-hangin' One wants a cookie and one wants a changin' and one's on the way)?
I enjoyed your tour of Sherman, TX. Having spent 4 years at Austin College, graduating in 1970, I was somewhat familiar with the town so this video for me was “A trip down memory lane.”
Thank you. I grew up in FSA, Left for college and the USAF 50 years ago, haven't been back in over 20 years. Amazing changes to downtown. So much just GONE. Fires? My father's old office at 16 N 5th - gone. As are the whorehouses that were around there!
They have busses, which is nice. Nueces County has buses 100 miles to the North. In between, maybe no buses. Downtown looks better than Corpus Christi which got the Suburbia bug and mallitis. so it got spread out all over.
In the late 90's, 2 mental hospitals in Topeka closed back to back. All the crazies were let out on the streets. Add to it city officials that only care about protecting their phony bologna jobs and combine it with a KBI sponsored meth program, and you get what you have today... A flaming shit hole full of hypnotized monkeys all jacking off and flinging poo at each other. If you're not from here, don't come here. You will regret it.
If you want to see the real Topeka, take a tour of central Topeka or what we lovingly refer to as the "dirty south". Stop by a few trailer parks for good measure.
