@@fatfurie He definitely does the pronunciation of his words how we he speaks seems very A.I like but thank you for your opinion, It was not hate towards him I just thought it was cool if anything.
Thanks for the vid! I guess the Witcher and Cyberpunk will go on sale on the GOG anniversary... Also, coincidentally it went off sale just before the start of this one.
What are your thoughts about the fan noise? I have heard a lot of bad things about this projectors fan noise. People say the picture quality is superb but fan noise is extremely bad. Esp. At 4k 60Hz. What are ur thoughts?
Strange, I use this in my bedroom where my head is near the projector but no I wouldn't say fan noise is worse than my other projectors from BenQ or otherwise, could be where you locate the projector but this is such a niche product I didn't consider audio in different locations but I've used in, obvious in the video, in so many configurations and I never felt the fans were too loud. Maybe loud if you aren't playing any audio at all but the speakers are fantastic so it covers it well if there is a loudness with air flow.
wish this game still existed. But I agree and disagree with your issue of the game being unfair to new players. I agree that it is unfair that vet players can get the higher level attachments but I disagree because the higher level attachments were not game breaking like you ellude to as to making the game unfair to a new player. The later level attachments simply gave players more options to customize the gun stats. 99% of the time people didn't use exclusively the high level attachments.
the mmo's i've tried so far made me feel more alone than ever. always feeling like some weirdo outsider lookin in through the glass being looked down on. i havn't tried guild wars 2 though, i'll try that next.
It sometimes matters WHEN you play the MMO as well. Playing near the endgame of one expansion and continuing through the launch of a new one will give you the most community. Personally, the launch of Hardcore WoW was really something special.
a good explanation is there is a clear difference between games where players have so much to do there’s no time to sit around and do nothing. where as some games only have things like minigames so the players come up with their own fun together
I AGREE, the peak of toontown/ moshi monsters/ wizard 101./ monkey quest/ club penguin/ animal jam. will never be the same. recently a game called “Tower Unite” has been filling that role for me but the servers are quite dead because of a lack of advertising
It's odd that you faulted this projector for being placed awkwardly too close to your couch when the projector was not designed for your short room size being a longer throw projector. People with large rooms projecting larger screen sizes will not have this problem. Additionally there exist equivalent short throw gaming projectors that would be better placed closer to the screen/wall and not so close to your couch, eg the BenQ TH671ST or the BenQ TH690ST. It's not the tool's fault you chose the wrong tool. Lastly, you could mount the BenQ TH685 on the ceiling to get it further away from you and out of the way.
Its a general complaint, projectors are mostly B2B oriented and the most popular consumer grade projectors seem to be the lightest and most flexible. Despite me having many projectors, I WILL pull out my cheapest because it has casting abilities, auto key including horizontal, and is just compact. If projectors can get beyond these painpoints more people will buy them its that simple.
July 2024 update: TitansReach is already over, the devs announced it's end. CorePunk still isn't even in alpha. Naica launched horribly in 2022 and still isn't fixed as of right now. Mad World is out and it's bad. Really bad. Fractured still isn't out, but they are selling beta access and MANY other things, it looks very P2W. Profane isn't even in alpha still. Starbase is pretty barebones early access and abandoned by the devs for over a year with no updates. Frozen Flame still in early access 3 years later and another abandoned game with no updates in a year+ Ember Sword is a crypto bros scam game "Ember Sword will follow a play-to-earn business model; currency earned by slaying mobs, selling items and trading with players will be exchanged for tokens that convert to Ethereum cryptocurrency." Defend the Night has been completely abandoned, the last thing heard by the devs was Q1 2021. Even the website's certificate expired 662 days ago... So, sadly either these still are not even close to release or are abandoned or failures. MMOs in the 2020s have been in an awful state of garbage.
those are actually not bad choices even in 2024 and I will recommend most of those games but be aware that not everything got decent control support as developers are reluctant to user friendliness.
PvP would have saved the game. It’s the one game mode that doesn’t require a constant update or dlc. Simplify the balancing by putting all gun dps on an even level (depending on type of gun) and limiting abilities. The highlights of the smooth movement and air battles would have carried it.
I upgraded because I went from bulb to LED but if you already have an LED projector I bet you are fine for a while. But if you can splurge, yea by at least doubling your "pixel" density you will see it on such a big screen.
Asking for an option in a strategy game to disable a certain AI ability that can derail your campaign. Getting mocked and ridiculed and told "you just want to make the game too easy" Yea thats the kind of stuff that makes me want to stay away from these communities
