I love how Viktors and singed storylines are written and understood in TWO SCENES! TWO! the flash back and the present

Caitlyn is such a sweet darling, love her. And she is a very much needed anchor of sanity in all this madness.

Arcane feels like the bottled up frustrations of 1 million creative people mad at Riot for confining character backstory and lore to text pages and short trailers all suddenly exploding at once

Watching each episode of this show feels like the fastest 40 minutes of my life. The show is just too good and the ending of Act 2 got me itching for more!

In terms of animation, when Mel was writing with the fountain pen and the tip slightly bent, i had to cuss out loud, "fuck you. You did NOT need to do that. That's a fucking flex!" This show is art.

People have an issue with the imagine dragons song? Enemy is a banger and when I saw it again and saw them reanimating it again I loved it a whole new way again

The highlight characters for Act 2 for me are Viktor and Jinx. I love that Act 2 isn't as mind blowing as Act 1 but it is intense and a good chapter for setting up the major conflict for Act 3

In terms of music, Arcane has both beatiful, emotional orchestral tracks and also a more pop-ish song every episode. Personally I think the way they integrated the songs into the series is really cool.

I'm loving this show. It's so good. You honestly don't even need to know about the game to enjoy it.

The difference between this and the standard dribble that's usually popping up on Netflix is crazy. I don't really watch many shows much anymore but this has captured my interest so much more than others shows or movies have in a while.

I love that we follow multiple characters in the show kinda like GOT but unlike GOT, all the characters we follow are engaging. Vi is probably my favourite so far doh

All those ravens watching Jinx make me happy. Swain is one of my favorite characters in League and you can be sure, where there are Ravens, Swain learns a secret. Swain knows a lot about Jinx' history and secrets, we know that from his voice lines in the game, and we know Noxus is interested in the Hextech developement. I don't think we are going to see him in Arcane, but it's still a nice detail.

I hope this series blows up. I don’t remember a series so good in modern times.

I think imagine dragons apocalyptic punk vibe really works for Zaun. Especially since they are cannon street performers in Zaun now. The rest of the sound track is hit or miss, but the way it's implemented I think really covers for the faults. I love when they put on a track in show and there is an in universe reason the song is there. Usually a record player or the aforementioned street performers. A good example is Jinx listening to Get Jinxed in her little lair on a record player. Or 'Our Love' playing at the end of episode 2 but you see it literally playing in the last drop.

We need a series for each country of Runeterra. 9 more seasons of ARCANE LESGOOO!!! Ionia, Shadow Isles, Bilgewater, Shurima, Demacia, Freljord, Noxus, Targon and Bandle City.

This show is a modern day masterpiece. Hats off to the animation studio

Literally my favorite show ever. Brought me to genuine tears.

This and Bojack is one of rare Netflix original i'd call masterpiece.

Act 2 gave me depression through out watching the series and makes you think "what the heck is happening?" It's chaotic and full of madness.

I hope Riot continues this type of story telling. Riot has always had great art style and stories.

Arcane fits the perfect amount of exposure and story into their episodes. No Fluff Just Stuff.

Yea this show was a lot better than I expected. There was just so much that happened in Act 2 I'll have to watch again to fully take it in. But as of right now I am very invested in Caitlyn's character I love how they set her up in these latest episodes.

Never thought that about the music. Yeah it's a bit basic for the orchestral stuff, but I love the Imagine Dragons soundtrack. I'm not American, but I am Canadian (America junior) and I watch mostly American content. It doesn't bother me, I feel like it works, it adds to the atmosphere. I was surprised you're saying people aren't liking the music as I feel it works so well.

As an Asian, an otaku/anime watcher and a league player before, the opening theme feels like much anime openings with the vibe of league of legends tournament which is the worlds. I kinda liked it especially when they added some more impact in the drop on the show itself. But watching up to act 2, I can still see the lyric linking up to the story of jinx and her punk but the tonality of the show itself being how dark it was, it sometimes gives it off the vibes knowing the opening is so upbeating. But yet, i still love the opening. The bridge leading to the hook always gets me. I love arcane version more than the original song.

Both Vi and Cait are so hot 🔥, like damn that scene in the brothel.

I love the soundtrack. Playground, enemy,... The latter is an awesome main theme and this one scene where imagine dragons actually shows up, the song plays and vi is fighting with silcos officer who betrayed vander... Love it

I (German) found the music to be very good, and specifically the Woodkid piece (Guns for Hire) with the torch scene where Jinx basically calls for help was a genius moment of cinematography that stays with me like no scene did for a long time.

The only real thing I had a problem with was the appearance of Imagine Dragons in the show, that was a little jarring. I know they animated them for the Enemy music video but I had no idea they would actually use them in the show. Besides that, what an incredible show

I havent realized it, but once i checked voice actors and found out Dan is voice for jayce i cant unhear him now XD detective douche :D

I love the soundtrack, hearing woodkid's "guns for hire" to that great montage in e6 fully won me over in the end, one of the best songs ever made imo.

i have never played the game and i am still in love with this show! its amazing. the characters are all so interesting and complex to the point of where i genuinely find myself conflicted as to who is "right" and who is "wrong". so far my favorite character is viktor, i cried when he was talking to heimerdinger about his legacy and place in the world... i know that there is no way everyone will get their happy ending, but the show drew me in so much that i only want them all to somehow be happy after all this :(

8:45 to 9:07 I'd say _especially_ in silent scenes. This show is a masterclass in "show, don't tell." So many important plot points are foreshadowed in the background, or in faces, actions, etc. This show says more when it doesn't say anything than when it actually speaks, and it speaks plenty.

One thing I haven't seen commented on in reviews, is the way both Cyberpunk and Steampunk are combined. IMO its the best representation of Steampunk on screen to date. Really gets that creative side of me excited to see.

As an American, I do think they layer on the Imagine Dragons aspect too strongly - you all know what scene I'm talking about. But the rest of the soundtrack has been fantastic! And, honestly, I don't begrudge Imagine Dragons for it. They clearly put a lot into this series and they've been working with Riot for years. It's cool that they have been able to build to this.

I didn't know I could love this show as much as I do. There's so much all the time. Themes, references, world-building, foreshadowing. I really don't like Imagine Dragons, but it's been growing on me, at least in the context of Arcane. Specially with Zaun.

Im not knowledgeable in League of Legends stories. So I was on edge through out the show wondering if one of my favorite characters would get assassinated by the writers

I've watched the entire thing 3-4 times now and I'm still finding new details, easter eggs, references, and foreshadowing.

A while ago I watched a review of Spiderverse, which pointed out that it was one of the few movies that picked Hip Hop to be the main motif for its protagonist where most other superhero movies use orchestral compositions. It came to my mind when I heard the soundtrack for the show, and yeah, I feel like it was a very brave decision that definitely makes it stand out more.

Hmmm, interesting, I liked Act II way more than I, and I didn't feel like it was slower paced - I mean it probably really was, but I it actually sucked me even more into the story and made me more excited

Arcane is best show so far for me. I've watched a lot of Animated show and cartoons but this is just different, every frame is so amazing that u can't take off your eyes on it. The storyline goes so fcking well and it's becoming better and better every episode.

having just finished watching it I really hope that they do make more that includes and/ or focuses on the other regions as well. i had stopped playing league around mid to late 2015/ early 2016 and after watching Arcane it makes we wawnt to get back into playing LoL

The show is f*****g bomb, I've literally been watching as many reaction videos as possible to validate my absolute love of this show! Totally lived up to the hype, well and truly exceeded my expectations. Im itching for act 3!!!!

I'm so filled with angst and longing for more after the last three episodes I might watch the whole damn thing again.

As a Canadian, how the music was used was a surprise but definitely a welcome one

first of all, GREAT video! but just came to respond about the music segment; honestly, i think the music fits super well. I'm not american but australia is very western so we have very similar cultures, and honestly yeah i think the music fits rly well. the whole show has a grungy feel and the pops of colour - particularly in jinx's theming - make it that little bit pop-y-ier than your average sci fi/cyberpunk series, which i feel the music perfectly reflects. but thats just me :)

The art design is just incredible.

One ditail I found really interesting were the eyes... just the way they moved like real ones, specially in intence scenes just got me.

This series brought so much emotion, there was not one scene where there wasnt an emotion whether it was anger happiness or sadness The series had so much dedication and effort put into it and i honeslty think it deserves an award From the cinematics to the voice actors. They showed us, they have showed us all RIP silco my favourite character by far, but at the end of the day you portait each character and scene with so much deatil and emotion that i just want to say well done, award worthy and i hope that they do a meet and greet cause i would love to meet and have a signed poster from my favourite series and everyone who made arcane so special...... Youre perfect

I want an series for every region

I think the music choice actually fits the show quite well. Fantasy or even celtic style music with woodwind instrument would just be our of place. The show is definitely cyberpunk in its setting and world building. The multiple genre of punk, grudge, rock, rap, and club i feel they've captured the mood in each scene transitions quite well.

I’m legitimately obsessed with the show rn. The last week it’s the only form of entertainment I’ve watched. Whenever I finish a play through I just boot it up again for another go.

Hmm.... I don't find the show overtly sexual or even nearing that threshold. Jinx's outfit is a teeny bit (no puns intended) provacative in that it shows a lot of skin but still, it's well balanced. I wouldn't say Jinx is sexualized, even though I have no idea what her age is supposed to be here. I'm going to assume 18, making Vi and Cait somewhere in their 20s. Even the love scene was pretty tasteful. I'm stunned they could do a love scene and not have it look cringe af. Hats off to the show. Personally I think Mel is hands-down the most attractive character on the show, followed closely by Caitlyn. But absolutely, Vi is a handsome woman. They're all pretty well designed and exquisitely animated.

I actually love the musical choice. It creates that “epicness” but not in a superhero way. It sounds like that cool exterior of a bad ass. It contrasts to a lot of the reality and sadness of the characters. I think the music choice actually serves to not make the show so dramatic that it’s hard to associate it with the excitement that is such a key part of it rather than exclusively the tragedy.

Soundtrack is incredible

I agree that the score is a bit off for me. A lot of the times I would prefer if there were no vocals at all. For example at the climax of episode 3 the vocals kick in too soon after the emotional moments. However they always hit the right mood but I would just prefer if those songs were instrumental 90% of the time. It would feel better to me. That said there are some really nice subtle hints: my favorite is the dissonant violin sounds when Jinx is getting flashbacks.

"Vi is a very handsome girl" Couldn't have put it better myself. She's really having me question my sexuality, lol.

I love how you keep referencing my 2 favourite shows (GoT and Expanse) for now my favourite show. Top quality stuff and I had never played a game of LoL or even heard anything about the lore or the characters but I'm hooked 100%

I'm actually super loving the soundtrack, the songs like Playground are way more grungy and cyberpunk than any other show dares to go near, and the unique and super varied styles really suit the constantly changing cities and the differences between them. Listening to the soundtrack by itself I really felt like they captured the vibe of the places or the specific scenes they're tied to

If we ever get the chance or if someone makes a future comic series, anime, or a video game show like this this would be my top 10 animation style this is 3 the other two are 2 Star Wars the clone wars, and 1 an animation that looks more human like such as Batman Arkham knight and some episodes of love death and robots
