The high power is not on each cell, so because of high power input is not the same as power into 1 cell at all.

As cells get larger (eg 100x prismatic) ; individual cell monitoring becomes cost effective. Not so much for small cells (eg 5,000x 18650's).

Buenas tardes. Les presento mi última patente. Actualmente los fabricantes de vehículos eléctricos se enfrentan a una batalla contra reloj por controlar la vida útil de sus baterías. Para tratar de controlar la vida útil de sus baterías lo hacen a través de software, restándole capacidad de carga tras unos ciclos de carga preestablecidos. Pero el comportamiento de las baterías de litio es impredecible ya que estás pueden deformarse, incharse prematuramente dando lugar a un incendio que en la mayoría de los casos lleva a la perdida total del vehículo. Por no mencionar los daños que puede producir a personas, vehículos adyacentes y instalaciones como puntos de carga, garajes o parking públicos. Este sistema no sólo se basa en un control con software si no también con un nuevo hardware que representa un sistema completo para controlar la deformación de las baterías. Evitando que estas puedan llegar a arder. El sistema está concebido para que cuando una batería empiece a deformarse esté pueda tomar las acciones necesarias como interrumpir la carga actual sí el vehículo está conectado a un cargador, interrumpir la carga por regeneración, impedir un nuevo arranque del vehículo. Hello, can somebody please provide a picture showing what's inside a CATL CTP3.0 battery cell ? Is it a cheap oval-wound battery cell (enclosed inside a prismatic aluminum container), whose jelly roll is narrow (thus several meters long), thus unable to expel heath ? Is it a more expensive oval-wound battery cell (enclosed inside a prismatic aluminum container), whose jelly roll is wide (thus less than one meter long), thus more able to expel heath ? Is it a very expensive thick pouch cell (enclosed inside a prismatic aluminum container) that's made of many parallel stacked flat layers (cathode, separator, anode, isolator) able to direct-expel heat through the junction point of the many cathodes, and through the junction point of the many anodes ?
