I stayed there December 2022 and it was the best Hotel I‘ve ever experienced except the Burj al Arab Dubai. Loved it there! And I think you are right. I also ate at the Hakasan and the food was amazing but I dont know why it was just not a real Michelin Star Restaurant. Even tho the food was great but I feel like something was missing.
It's so over-the-top, but they somehow managed keep an air of good taste. The mural with the horses looked especially impressive. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. As always, classy and informative. I hope you picked up a couple of Rolexes at the hotel shop. You wouldn't want to leave without some souvenirs.
Loved it Yann, nice balance of casual style and information where needed. Hakasan looked empty on your arrival… I hated the London one, noisy nonsense.
Thank you! Hakkasan was packed on the Saturday when I didn’t get a table but the next day was very quiet. I also thought it was too noisy for a Michelin star restaurant although the food was excellent
Wow this might be a game changer for EJ. 34quid for the lounge. If you have 4 or 5 pints and a meal you basically made the money back that you'd spend in spoons anyway.
