Absolutely spectacular from start to finish. What a product to be so lucky to enjoy. The flawless service, presentation and above all this unique Suite, looked next level. One day would love to try and Stansted is local to me! Never say never.....! Thanks so much for sharing!🥂
Thanks for watching and couldn't agree more, this was a really special flight. One word of advice, the ground experience at Stansted is not geared for first class - there is no dedicated lounge, you would share the Escape lounge with everyone else. Best to fly from Dubai or connect somewhere so you get to experience to first class lounge in DXB.
Sorry again - naturally the lounge and shower is clean… there are no customers….!!! Must be fantastic - and a little not fun…. where do you meet your travelling “friends” / companies - and with completely clean shoes… Wow….
Emirates has the largest first class route network in the world so plenty of people go through this lounge - it's just so big you don't really notice it! I had a great chat with the person sitting next to me on this flight but this obviously depends on the flight and person!
Great report - thank you! Good to see Emirates' First Class offering evolving in the right direction (avoiding cutbacks like some other airlines (Etihad, Qatar). It would be good to have seen the entire menu and understand whether the service was anything other than faultless.
The soft service would be the same across the fleet but bear in mind this seat only exists on 9 of their aircraft. I'll do a review on their A380 at some point to show a more typical first class experience.
Took that same seat from Dubai to Tokyo and about to take another 7 emirates first class trip. It is nice. Love the goodies. You lucky to have the game changer suites as since emirates have over 300+ aircraft, ONLY 9 of them are game changer, so, it's question of luck I guess :) only on the 777-300ER.. but need to check configuration to ensure that's the proper suite. I prefer that one over the classic one for the zero gravity seat and full privacy.
It really is a great seat if you're flying solo, the fit and finish is so luxurious. I loved the complete privacy. I spent a while tracking down the routes this particular seat was flying on to make sure I got it (because trust me, I would much rather land at LHR than STN haha)! But the regular Emirates first class seat is still a top-tier product, and Emirates soft product is one of the best out there regardless of what aircraft you get.
I am gonna fly First from DXB to Europe soon. Would you recommend me to do the same as you did, and go to the First Class lounge in Concourse A, spend my time there and head over to the B gates for boarding? On the internet I have mostly read that the First Class lounge in Concourse A supposedly is the nicest of the three of them (I watched videos of the one in Concourse C and do not find it appealing at all).
That's what I did when I realised my points were expiring! It's a lot better to fly from Dubai to experience the First class lounge. I hope you get to fly that soon 🙏
The seat in this video (in a 1-1-1 config) is only available on 9 planes in their entire fleet so more than likely you would fly in their regular first class seat (in a 1-2-1 config) which has the couple seats in the middle.
Yeah I can definitely see that, it's almost too big. Even though B is still fairly large it feels a lot more intimate. I assume the lounge at C is similar.
Random question but one which would help me out as I plan my first videos - do you record your voiceovers at home speaking into the camera on your mic? Is that the easiest way to record clean audio and then upload it to whatever video editor you use?
Yep exactly that - my camera has a wireless mic which I speak into, easiest way to get decent audio for now. I used to just record using my phone voice notes. I'll get a proper microphone eventually!
I booked straight into First class with points which comes with lounge access but not chauffeur. I believe if you upgrade from business to first with points you should get lounge access too.
Yes! The seat in this video is only available on 9 of their planes. The rest of their fleet has the standard First class seats in a 1-2-1 config with seats for couples in the middle.
Not this time but the previous time I visited this lounge I wanted to buy a cigar for the sake of it but the price was ridiculous. I can't remember exactly now but I think I had to buy a pack of 3 minimum and it was in the hundreds of dollars so I skipped it. It may have changed since and you can probably bring your own.
Depends on your budget! The cash cost of this flight would be around £6k which is a LOT of money in my opinion but some people would have no issue paying that. I paid 85k Skywards miles for this flight which is a lot more palatable. This was definitely the most impressive flight I've been on in terms of the hard product so was more than worth the points.
The shower in the sky is like nothing else - I couldn't stop laughing when the water started running at how surreal the whole thing was. Plus they're refurbing the seats on the A380s to match the design language in this new suite.
Another terrific video. For Emirates premium I've only been in business on A380 and 777-300ER, A380 was brilliant, didn't care much for the 777-300ER. This First class seat is in a league of its own; the attention to detail is incredible plus the fun features. Re lounges, again only done the business lounge and I agree, both lounges are a bit soulless but I guess being based at DXB with so many flights, Emirates need really huge lounges so at least everyone can find somewhere to sit.
Thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed! I haven't flown Emirates business yet but from what I can tell the A380 seat is great but the 777 seat in the 2-3-2 config is so far behind modern standards, I'd hate to get stuck in one of those middle seats.
Looked incredible. I watch so many videos of emirates business and first class and enjoy each one just as much as the last. Also first video of yours i've seen. Great stuff.
Thanks for sharing this great review. Super envious you got to fly on EK First class! Absolutlely love the various lighting configurations available when you are ready to sleep. Looking forward to more reviews from you - your new subscriber from Malaysia here🙂
Emirates First is a dream, glad you enjoyed the video! I was in Malaysia recently, didn't get a chance to fly Malaysia Airlines but I definitely want to check it out, I'll make a video next time I go!
The female amenity kit is mostly the same but with a small Bulgari mirror, face cream, body cream and a different scented Bulgari perfume and deodorant. The mens shaving kit is not included of course!
Thank you! If you want to fly on this particular seat you'll have to do a bit of research beforehand on which routes it is currently flying. The gamechanger first class seat is only available on 9 of their 777-300ERs!
I agree the 380 washrooms are to be expected and far superior.. shocked they would do anything less on this plane... but I would do with smaller bathroom to have the FULL floor to ceiling privacy for the suite and the serving window...
@@FlyManYann Absollutely! I agree, that would be ideal ... because they also seem to try to "keep it a secret" which planes or flights are game changer which I don't get ? ? let passengers book what they want ? haha So that being said........What was your Flight number for this one??
Another great review. Tbh, it would take me the whole flight just to work out the different controls! Any suite that has a Yann-sized cubby for your feet is a good one.😁 Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your next flight.

No way! I only paid 85k Skywards miles for this plus 1600 AED in taxes - not a bad deal! Emirates has the largest first class network in the world and clearly people keep paying these prices for it!
@@FlyManYann I wanted to tell you that emirates is using you for advertisement… they don’t pay you.. you pay with miles also money and fly on the plane which makes a flight for you but 2 points in 1 go for emirates…
