Merci pour ce partage, vous vivez dans un très beau pays. Votre vidéo me donne des bonnes idées pour partir à l'aventure sur mon 1200 scrambler XC ;) Bonne journée.
Great videos, keep up the fantastic work. Just wondering what brand is your “pot” with the folding handles. Looking for one that can accommodate jetboil smallest gas canister, camping shops here have only pots with billy type lids, not handles. Any chance you might be kind enough to let me know brand (and maybe size ….100mm diameter I am thinking?). Thks. Frank
Hey Frank, thanks for the comment, glad you're enjoying the videos. The stove and pot is a set, 'Solo Stove Lite & Pot 900' and along with my Trangia 27 it's one of my favourite stoves. The stove nests inside the pot which holds approx 900ml and is 12cm in diameter. Purchased from eBay. Lots of excellent YT videos on this stove. ATB Jason 👍
Haha, yeah not from that one. It's screen didn't work anyway and would only sometimes record so no big loss. That pales into insignificance compared to the loss of my DJI Air 2S a week later after having smashed it into a rock face at Girraween NP 😭
@@gizmosaussieadventures147 mate, I was in sport mode. The drone crashed head on into the rock face and smashed into pieces. Couldn't even recover the SD card 🫣
Thanks mate 😁 It was a great camp, one of the best spots so far I think, lovely open flat grassy area all to myself by the river 👌 Thanks for watching, ATB Jason 👍
Great location for a camp. The wind noise from your screen is one of the reasons I don't run a screen on the DR650. It is very bad on the T7, but get your head up into clean air and it's happy days. Enjoyed the vid and the work you put into it.
@@FULLPELTAdventures hey Pete, yeah I always thought it was the visor of my helmet but no. Bit disappointed as I like the athletics of the windshield. Anyhoo, was a great camp and fantastic ride there. Thanks for watching mate, glad you enjoyed it 👊 Ride safe ATB Jason 👍
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed it. It was really a great camp, one of my favourites to date I think. Looking forward to another night there sometime soon 👌 ATB Jason 👍
Thanks mate, appreciate you saying that. I do like this format, it's not for everyone but I enjoy putting videos together this way so it's good to know others enjoy them too. ATB Jason 👍
Awesome spot isn't, I'll be back shortly no doubt. DR was awesome as ever. Happy with the build now but there's always room for one more mod 😂 Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
At 24:22 ? That'll be the sun 😜 No, seriously I have a small lamp you may see dangling from a pole on my table and two small cheap LED magnetic lights I position as needed. Nothing fancy. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Thank you for sharing; An easy One Nighter bike camping on the Scrambler 1200XE well done. I also had the side pannier on my bike. You have a good set up and I enjoy your relaxed style. David...Adelaide....Triumph Scrambler 1200X.....
Thanks David 😊 I'm finding the side pannier very usual and combined with the 40 litre duffel on the seat and a small back pack that's all I need 👌 Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Hey mate go camping on my bike when I can a GSX S 1000 and love it. Similar little tent to mine. Love a good steak in the bush. Nicely put together Video 😎
Hi just came across your channel great video I see or hear your another Brit who’s escaped the shit uk don’t blame ya especially with the state of uk now I’m just stuck here at my age where are you from in uk I’m in Essex nr Colchester great bike them triumph scramblers I’ve got the triumph rocket 3gt chrome edition 2023 and I looove it it’s beautiful and thinking of a scrambler for a winter hack until the dreaded ice and road salt goes down then lock it away till spring it must be so nice in aus love to go over there but I’ve missed the boat for that you’ve got same trouble as us traffic lights no workman typical another channel I watch is spanner lab and the bobber channel there English blokes who moved to aus take care ride safe
Yup, I hear you about the UK mate. I went back recently which reminded me how lucky I am to live in Australia with it's glorious weather and landscapes, perfect for us bike riders 👌 From Worcester originally. I'm loving the scrambler, almost went for a KTM haha. She's absolutely perfect for those long rides I wouldn't fancy on my DR650. Take care and ride safe mate. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
Hey mate, a few questions . 1, your barret exhaust tip being black, did it come like that or have you painted it ? 2. about 8m18sec in there was some b&b eng cover - what is that as i've never seen that before or is it juck a sticker ? cheers
Hey thanks for sharing your adventures; It seems you are enjoying the 1200XE Scrambler. I had swapped my Triumph Tiger 900GT for the Scrambler 1200X as it was a lot lighter and I have changed my riding with mainly dirt roads and tar. I also got the larger Touring Screen to give me some comfort on the long rides. Keep safe, and enjoy it all... David....Adelaide....Triumph Scrambler 1200X
@@davidcauchi2837 welcome to the club 🤙 Yep, I'm thoroughly enjoying the Scrambler, such a comfy ride on long trips. Great part of the country you're living in down there with the Flinders on your doorstep. Thanks for watching David. Ride safe and enjoy your new Scrambler 😁 ATB Jason 👍
For sure, it was a really pleasant ride on the scrambler, especially with the cruise control 🤙 Very nice quiet country roads. Thanks for watching mate, ATB Jason 👍
Thanks mate 🤙 This trip was an absolute breeze on the Triumph, no pun intended. I've never had the benefit of a large windshield so I don't know what I'm missing but I do not find any issue with buffeting riding at speeds. Looking forward to doing longer rides. Thanks for watching 👍
After disconnecting the fuel pipe I drained the float bowl then carefully applied a heat gun to the inlet pipe, wrapped a protecting cloth around it and using a pair of bull nosed pliers gently applied downward pressure until I had it where i wanted it.
@@TwoTubesADV thanks. I have a new DR with an Acerbis tank and the hose angle isn’t ideal, but afraid to try this! Maybe one day when I have a spare carb handy I’ll try it.
@@TwoTubesADV great review by the way. I have a lot of the same mods done on my bike since I bought it two months ago. It’s fun building a bike that suits your riding style and can’t get one much cheaper than the DR to start with, or one much more fun to ride.
Hi Jason. That was very nice. I enjoyed that. I think you made me want to go and stay the night have a meal. 1800 Suzuki cruiser will like that. Cheers John from Gold Coast
Yeah, I'd much prefer to be off somewhere in the bush but on the flip side being walking distance from the pub was a plus for this evening 🤙 Thanks for watching mate. ATB Jason 👍
From a beginner rider just getting into adventure riding: how does one find a nice spot in the middle of nowhere? Are there certain things you look for in a good wild camp spot? And how do you avoid the legality issues?
@@prodiptoroychowdhury2313 google maps, or similar, is useful for scouting out potential sites. Unless you know otherwise you may not be technically allowed to camp wherever so best to be stealthy 😜
Packed light for this trip hence the tiny stove but works well 👍 Is a great place for a camp with the bonus of the pub and not worrying about riding home 🤙😜
Mate we pulled up in the middle of the Betoota Pub camping area with literally no one else there, nek minnit we walk out of the pub and there's a caravan parked almost on top of us. What is with these bloody socialites 😅 Fk off already. Nice vid mate it's good to hear your dulcet tones again 🍻
