I haven't watched yet but I dont think he is misunderstood at all I think he is almost the perfect baseball player not saying he is the best but I hates Harper he played in same division as the phillies and now I love the guy as a fan u want all other teams to hate ur guy amd ur city to love him and if he gwts that status I promise u every player like that is a legend in the game but he plays hard he takes no shit he wants to win i think everyone understands him perfictly he is loves in Philly thru n thru and hope he is hated outside of Philly
Don't think too much about Bryce harper. His actions on the field lead me to believe he is super competitive and very emotional. As talented as he is, his competitiveness and emotions many times control his actions on the field.
He was mvp the first time in one of the weakest offensive seasons since the 80s and had some of the worst numbers an mvp had ever had. He is overrated but not by a lot
I absolutely love Bryce Harper. There's people who THINK they are the baddest mother fucker on the field. Bryce Harper KNOWS he is the baddest mother fucker on the field.
If MLB umpires weren’t such bitches, they’d cop to the bad calls and smartly provide the data that they are still more likely to make the right one. Instead they treat Angel Hernandez like he’s an equal, not an outlier. They protect him while getting his stain all over all the good umpires.
Dealing with millionaire, over-paid, immature prima-donnas is expecting WAY too much of men of principle and character. These same bozos can make errors all game long, bat .120 and no one cares but "only" be accurate 94% of the time? Get a life, idiot. BTW, yes...I'm an amateur umpire who knows yo-yos like you don't have a clue.
I am amazed De La Cruz is considered Reds best player. Today, he strikes out 4 times. Including today, how many times this season has he struck out with a winning runner on 3rd base? He makes a magnificent play that sports center will televise over and over. Trust me, he makes many more offense and defensive physical and mental errors costing the Reds numerous games than than he contributes to winning. The Reds currently reside in last place. Enough said.
they tell the pitchers to strike him out because he is notorious for stealing bases. he is literally so fast he has run from home to home in well under 15 seconds. they throw him balls that are hard to read because once he’s on base he’s fast enough to make it home on one error… also to be fair to the reds majority of their main rotation for batters has been out at some point this season. hear ya though just saying give the kid a break it’s not his fault the media is hyping him up so much. he’s just putting his heart into the game!
I hate this idea that it comes down to "one blown call", as if the teams hadn't been playing for 9 innings already and failed to capitalize on any advantage that had or could've had early on.
El Bombi is fun to watch and a huge part of it. Have guys like Garcia, Lowe and Taveras already in place, and signing the Dynamic Dou up the middle and pitching helped. Young players like Heim, Jung, Langford, and Carter make this team fun to watch. This lineup can score quick and it can happen anywhere in the line up.
I dunno why people call him a villain. Dudes super nice with a great attitude. The only time he’s ever shown to be upset or angry is when he’s thrown at intentionally.
