Bombi is by far my favorite active player because of his flash and talent. I think the crowd that thinks he's cheating is mostly Astros fans who are undstandably upset he dog walked them at home. It's crazy they think his transformation was overnight, but he's been at his craft for a LONG time. He was even good enough to make the all star game in 2021. Great video, I gotta watch more!
I am an longtime Astros fan and I can say he mugged us in the playoffs last year. As our state neighbor I am glad to see that the Rangers won the series last year. I can see why people would say he is on steroids but there is zero proof to it so why make the statement as it only makes you look petty.
My favorite player. His fiery passion, his showmanship, and his pure skill both offensively and defensively make him one of the most fun players to watch play. So, happy he's a Ranger.
It's amazing to see El Bombi get his recognition. I remember the first couple years when he was with the Rangers, you could see the talent and potential then. During those bad Ranger years, I always considered Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Dane Dunning, and Adolis as our three best players. And Adolis was jacked back then as well, but nobody cared because we were a terrible team. No surprise that once he received more national attention, people started to speculate his legitimacy, when in reality he had been looking jacked for years before already. But it's been great to see that when the Rangers became competitive again, Adolis also kept improving from being a fun all or nothing player, to becoming a consistent and significant threat that he is now. Cool thing to see him come full circle. Great vid
What's funny is before the season started an Astros fan was saying he was going to laugh when Adolis Garcia bats under .200 and is out of the league in 2 or 3 years. That's some serious hating.
Rangers fan here. Adolis is on the juice. If we can admit Nelson Cruz's inexplicable rise to power was drug-aided, admitting Garcia's shouldn't be a stretch.
El Bombi is fun to watch and a huge part of it. Have guys like Garcia, Lowe and Taveras already in place, and signing the Dynamic Dou up the middle and pitching helped. Young players like Heim, Jung, Langford, and Carter make this team fun to watch. This lineup can score quick and it can happen anywhere in the line up.
I dunno why people call him a villain. Dudes super nice with a great attitude. The only time he’s ever shown to be upset or angry is when he’s thrown at intentionally.
I'm a personal believer in these 3 things baseball either needs or should have. 1) let pitchers use sticky stuff to control the ball better. ( they will have no excuse for beaning a player and it would probably make it safer) 2) let players juice up of they want to. (Just cuz ur on steroids doesn't mean u can hit a curveball.) 3) bring back homeplate collisions.( just cuz buster posey was a vagina doesn't mean u should get rid of a tradition.)
I went to the games where he first broke out against oddly enough. Houston. We started calling him an Astro killer back in 2021 and in 2023 he proved it again
Adolis' approach this season has changed. His chase rate is down, he is making hard contact all the time, hits the long ball, and it's paying off. Patience is up and he is becoming more dangerous.
Every talented and flashy player is accused of steroid use. This guy is full of talent and heart. Sorry haters. Adolis is a very strong guy with immense talent.
I mean he went from being in a poor country like Cuba to the minor leagues where he doesn't have the resources to dedicate more time to weight training and then to the Rangers who have the newest and best clubhouse that would allow him to focus on getting bigger. it's not an over night transformation it's been slow and then a little quicker once he became an everyday major leaguer with the rangers
Astros fan but one of my favorites to watch guys legit may be juicing may not don’t care broke my heart multiple times just like watching him play the other 28 🤣
How come every time an athlete puts on some muscle everyone yells “Steroids!”? Ever stop to think maybe he just trains hard and eats right? Maybe he’s just genetically gifted? Perhaps both?
I hate those Rangers jersey. It just doesn’t look like my team I’ve come around to the red but I just don’t know if I can get behind that weird pirate look.
