This channel focuses on educating us on the American Bald Eagle and other Raptors. Through live streaming, it has been made possible for us to watch, observe and learn more about these birds in their natural environment. From nest building, bonding, eggs and the hatching it is only the beginning of the long journey that an eaglet and other chicks of raptors have to take to make it to fledging and eventually departing on their own journey in life
In my opinion, based on its plumage, it has too much white for a first-year eagle like our Cal (Cal is not even a year old yet). I think it is almost two years old and maybe was hatched the same year as Connick
Clive seemed a bit perplexed, as if he was not sure whether he should be doing something about this unexpected visitor! Wonder what he was thinking as he looked down after it left. 🤔
Not sure what he is thinking but one of the most likely is there is not enough room for the two of us here. Waiting now to see what Connie makes of this uninvited guest at her nest
😂 it is hilarious when a stick goes overboard. They ALWAYS look shocked that it happened 😯 and then must be thinking of the hard work it took to get it to the nest.
Aww.. well that answers my question. They have an eagle eye in their nest for a fact... they may not be home but the ring is watching lol ..lol plus all of us but ....❤
Connie is the original female eagle at Captiva and is estimated to be 21 as of 2024. Based only on Clive's arrival in 2001 he is estimated to be 9 years old as of 2024.
@Ondabebe oh wow that's is certainly incredible thank you so much in everything all of you do and taking the time to share this information with me you are all so much appreciated by all big and small 😊
Very cool! Thanks for the video Ondabebe❤awesome. Very cute the Juvi🦅 seemed quite cozy there. Awesome acrobatics, so agile for being large & near the nest like that too.
