Where can someone possibly learn from him? Just got into poi also dragon staff but I love poi. It’s been my medicine and brought me to yoga and Qi gong
Ronan is based in Ireland, and used to come to the US, but hasn't since 2020. I believe he occasionally teaches at Vojta's Poi Retreats - they are usually in epic locations. You can find them here: poiretreat.com/ ... happy to hear you found flow, yoga and qigong - all very complimentary practices :)
@@ferkiteyedontno2132 You can find our range of LED flower sticks here: flowtoys.com/props/flower-sticksflowtoys.com/props/flower-sticks ... we have different lights using different boards and LEDs. The lights have loads of great features like wireless control, kinetic awareness, many adjustable modes and you can control w/ an app. Enjoy!
@@flowtoys looks good but very expensive for me….wish I could afford it be a game changer fa me in uk . don’t suppose you would like to donate me some for a simple poor man please
This is so unnecessarily difficult.. after a while struggling I finally got the door open but hitting it doesn’t release the battery and the tab just slips through my fingers. Guess I’ll use a pliers on the pull tab? Please consider adding a plug in for recharging for future designs.🤞
The new light engines will have usb-C. This is a new hardware system, not light engine and uses current vision boards, so not yet, but yes for future versions.
Thanks for asking! Do you already have a set of poi with FPC rope or are you interested in getting one? If you are interested in getting a new rig and would like us to size the leashes for you, we can do that :) Please email us directly at info@flowtoys.com and we'll get you taken care of.
@@flowtoys thank you! I ordered the kit. As far as wanting to shorten them a little bit. Can I shorten the Knob end and melt it? What is the most efficient way to go about this process?
@@LTankv great - glad to hear it! Yes, you can adjust the length of the leashes when your order arrives :) Here's a link to our support page that will help with that: flowtoys2.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000253502-how-to-adjust-length-of-fpc-cord-flowmoja-podpoi-glitterbomb-meteors-and-more Hope that helps, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us directly at info@flowtoys.com Happy flowing!
Hi Kennedy! The spin 9s feel better for tosses, pattern spinning & stalls - they feel better than the 16s and are better for everyday practice & play. If you are interested in juggling, we recommend getting the pod shell & sleeve version here: flowtoys.com/vision-poi-spin9-w-fpc The spin 16s look great for flowers and pattern spinning - great for performance. Vision poi aren’t the best option for contact poi, but you can juggle spin 9s or spin 16s with FPC. The spin 9s will feel better for juggling :) Hope this helps!
Yes they can and feel great if like them heavy. You'll just need a pod shell (with vision cap adaptor) and pod sleeve - you can get all you need on the pod sleeve page: flowtoys.com/pod-sleeve ... it also has an add-on for the pod shell. Enjoy!
I realize I'm coming here years later to comment but it's taken me that long to get through all the modes and get comfortable with how it all works to start tinkering with the advanced stuff. At 13:55 you (Jer) said there are two ways of saving a dark mode. Then you showed us one, but unless my attention span missed it (highly likely), I didn't catch the second. What's the second?
It would be p3m8 “bolder”: adjust till dim/dark ... though you can also use the app, which makes it all so much easier :) You'll need a bridge, which you can find here: flowtoys.com/props/bridge-for-app ... hope this helps!
@@flowtoys I'm so used to commenting on youtube videos and never getting a response. This is like a breath of fresh air. I'll definitely be picking up a bridge soon, but I've got a poiformance next sunday so I'll make due with what I have for now. Thanks for the speedy responses!
I came to check this out because I was curious if the white balance was something that was more oriented towards people shooting video and want their capsule lights to match the ambient light in the scene they're shooting, and I have to wonder if this is why your lights in this video all look blue when you're saying they're white.
It could be used for matching whites on camera, but we didn't do that, hence the blue hue ;) It’s more intended for matching amongst a set of props, as different batches of LEDs might have diff shades of white :)
Haha, I'm so happy! I've had my original pod poi for probably a decade now and both "died" last night when playing in the rain. Dumb idea I know, but the was a good moment nonetheless. This morning one was unresponsive and the other was faintly glowing green. Washed them both with 90% alcohol and let them dry with no luck, but then found this video and bridging the cap worked a treat! Thanks for making such a great product!
Yes - the pod shells and sleeves fit on all our current staffs (they're an alternative cap option to the flowcap). The staff on the table is a vision contact staff - they come without the flowers, but you can add them on. Here's a link to the vision staffs page - flowtoys.com/vision-contact-staff-w-pods - and here's a link to the flowers: flowtoys.com/parts/dragons-flowers-mass ... hope this helps!
@@stetsonbalew8188 The vision boards are not modular, but you can put pod shells on the pop'n flow system. We will be releasing a contact staff hub soon - keep a lookout on our flownews for the release: flowtoys.com/news
Hi there! Thanks for checking in! At the moment, there is no way to delete a favorite from the favorites page on your flowlight-FS. However, since the maximum amount of modes you can have on the favorites page is 10, you can save other modes to the favorites page to push out the one you'd like to remove. Hope that helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to contact us at info@flowtoys.com Happy spinning!

thank you, i managed to figure this out after a few hours of fiddling around with it. just threw me off for a good couple hours, thought i was stuck with the wrong choices haha. appreciate the quick reply though. these new ones are amazing. ive been telling people 'back in my day we had to decide what color scheme we wanted, and we got to be known as the guy with the XXX flowtoys that night! and if we wanted two colors we had two pairs!!' hahaha. so yeah these are insane. thank you. @@flowtoys
Hi Shelby - you can find the saberstaff here: flowtoys.com/vision-saberstaff ... I just updated the link in the description as well - thanks for the heads up :)
Alas our manufacturer stopped making them. We're trying to get our friends to make an LED version that is affordable - look forward to providing when it's ready :)
I had the first generation collapsible contact staff with Flowlights (10 years ago!) Your modular systems have come a long way for sure! This is great for multiple prop artists that hate having to use a beach cart to carry everything at festivals and burns.
Just a recommendation but if u have alot of videos to upload maybe space them out a few hours or over the span of like 2 days. I might just be being wierd but when I had to scroll through all these videos on my sub page to get to what I was looking for I almost unsubbed. On a brighter note great video!!
Thank you Cody! Yeah these were how-to instructional videos and I bulk updated them - sorry to spam y'all! Wish RU-vid didn't have to notify peops about these instructionals, though I should have scheduled them to spread out the uploads. Thanks for not unsubbing for my inelegant way to be able to embed these videos in our product support pages :)
