Hey, my name is James and I'm looking to talk about tools and may throw in some how to videos. I don't claim to be a professional, just enjoy working, remodeling, working on cars, etc. I have a passion for tools and thought I would talk about some tools and maybe learn some from others as well along the way! Thanks!
On my video or on your laser level? Is the room really bright? It may not show as good in super bright light, maybe a low battery or possibly a faulty laser?
If I’m not mistaken, I didn’t do anything with the return. I just added the supply to the cp3 from Fass pump. Then I added the fleece filter delete kit. I added the return from the Fass pump to the sump on bottom of tank. I left the factory pickup pump in.
LMR did a dyno test of the stock air box cleaner vs. A cold air intake, and the stock air box showed more HP and only 1.5 ft-lb less torque at peak. Cold intake is overrated and not worth it IMO.
This is a superb explanation on a little-known tool called the toe kick saw, complete with a demonstration model built for the purpose!) Videos like this are hard to find. You sir, are a truly great and personable teacher -the kind that America needs going forward! You obviously know your stuff, with experience, and can explain it perfectly. Any tradesmen-to-be would be blessed to be your students.
I like the video, of course I have a convertible so If I do what you did my top goes down? Lol Your fox is absolutely amazing. See you at foxtoberfest 2024
Excellent videos....I have a 88gt with 415kmiles no leaks. The only problem i have is surging and strong smell of fuel. As am trying to troubleshoot am finding little things (wiring) that needs to be fixed.
Thank you! I have some videos that may help with troubleshooting. I had some of those same problems. They are fun cars though. Hope you get it all straightened out and enjoy!
If it’s a 2016 model and it’s a factory PCM, you will need to get a unlocked PCM from Super chips to be able to tune it. The factory PCM’s are locked. Diablo sport and maybe even super chip website maybe able to tell you if your year is locked PCM by the vin#. Hope this helps!
I like to change mine about every 50k miles. However, I’m wanting to say the recommendations are every 60k. Sometimes you can tell when it seems like it doesn’t want to go in gear as easy. I was having that issue. So that’s why I decided to change it to Amsoil. Hope this helps! Thanks
May have bad sensor or possibly a bad voltage or no voltage to a sensor? Check voltage across the sensors. It may run ok until the computer starts trying to adjust after it’s warm. Just a guess though without knowing all the details. The wiring on these cars are getting brittle. I had broke wires running to EGR and TPS that wasn’t getting any reads.
So the factory feed line that was originally pulling the fuel through the draw straw in tank from the top of tank what did u do to the fitting to plug the fitting or u just leave it open to atmosphere???
Ok thanks for getting back to me I just picked up same fass pump and have a aftermarket lift pump already attached to frame so I guess I’ll just block the factory suction line off from top of tank then I guess. doing the new fass sump kit nice job on the install
One more question when u drilled your hole in fuel tank the original lift pump wasn’t directly underneath your sump cause if not I’ll put my sump in same spot thanks
@@richardwieler4549 It wasn’t, it worked out good for me. Needs to be in a flat part of tank to seal. They are a splash screen in there. Try not to get too close to it.
Hey man, just bought these same wheels for my ‘88 GT and like you were worried about for yours the center caps are getting pushed out. What studs were you going to install for using with the 8mm spacer? Thanks.
I know it's old post, help me a lot, but the electric connection to the fuse box you are connecting to number 28 were is console still working in that position?
Unfortunately I don’t. I took the converter to a shop that it all they do is rebuild torque converters. Most of the automotive garages in the area use him. I know he told me it was a return spring kit or something like that and with carbon clutches.
Another good video & remedy to those body styles! I have often wondered if FLEX SEAL will work!?!?! You know prep similar to what you did… then apply flex seal! Or at least test in an inconspicuous areas! Or on another similar piece of worn rubber! Thanks anyway for the idea(s)!🤔👌🤘🏼🙏🏽👋🏻
Your wheels look great on the car! I’ve wanted 17-18 for mine too! U jus helped a lot of fox body owners on majority of questions & answers! I would have done different colors on the brakes however! You should have done some blue on the calipers & shoes!?!?! That would have accented the color scheme so much better! (Black is neutral!)! I did red on my black mustang!!! Looks great! Try an engine ford blue & clear coat next time!?!? The engine paint is heat resistant & is actually good enough without clear/gloss coat! That blue stripe & blue on those brake components would help set that off!
Thanks for the kind words and great ideas! That’s what it’s all about. Sharing information and opinions (with respect), as a good community to help each other with our builds and have new ideas that we may like better! Thanks!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
This is first to ever see this type of saw am new at putting my floor down an would love to have saw like that to do my mobile home am so glad that some on RU-vid know what there doing about saw thx u so much for this video 😊
Dear Hillbilly- I don't have your address so I'll just leave it here. Thanks. That's all I have to say. I had a "buck rodgers" hesitation where I could only drive with the EGR unplugged. Changed the sensor you recommended. PROBLEM SOLVED. That sensor works with the PCM and if it is bad, you can expect a ride from hell. I had to order a special socket to remove it from Amazon, but bboy, after spending 3000 on repairs, geeze...
@selectyourtools going to park it in the garage and give myself two weeks after work. I'm 56 and fat, gonna go ahead and pull the seats andcarpet for room.
@@a1machinista1 That would be good! Take time, label stuff and even take some pictures to reference back to in case you need to. Taking out the seats would definitely help! I should’ve did that.
Hey man, thanks for the videos. I have an 87 stang giving me the same type of issues. I'm not much of a mechanic but some of your suggestions sound quite simple like the temperature control sensor. Cheap and easy start. Thanks again John

My dad use to own that truck. That dash looks 1000% better. We were riding down road when the old one cracked it sounded like a gun going off in the cab with us. Glad to see you bringing the old truck back to life.
That’s awesome man!! Once I get off this project at work, I will be back on the truck. I’ve had it for a awhile now. Hoping to make it a nice truck one day.
I realize I am 1 year late seeing your video. But a super straight to the point, well documented and explained. I need a close contact tool removing lenolium. You gave both pos and neg points but I see you came out with more positives. Super video!! have a great Navy Day!
