Ronaldo was a midback for 200+ of his 1100 games. Any Messi fanb*tch whose being honest with himself realizes Ronaldo would already be at 1000 goals if he had been striking from the very beginning. All one has to do is watch the games to see what their eyes tell them..Messi is 1b. Ronaldo is 1A. The best individual player ever. The most clutch. The most powerful. Ronaldo's Aim is to somehow just get the ball at the back of net while messi plays pure football, he is not hungry for goals everytime and does not dive that much, I love how ronaldo fans always say about ronaldo's physique and all but its of no use as a slight push can make ronaldo dive and make him ask for a penalty, now dont say its all about balance and that, yeah it is but as a footballer its your thing to practice every aspect of it ronaldo kept on improving his physique while messi improved with the ball

Messi has been winning my heart for at least the last two decades, and he'll forever remain the best player I've ever seen. As an individual gifted to use left hand and left leg myself, I admire the creativity within him.
I've always known that with time, this ridiculous debate will end itself. What I didn't expect was how Leo utterly demolished CR7 at the end with all the major international trophies (2 Copa America and a World Cup as of now) and adoration he has from the whole footballing world. Why? It's simple. It's how they play football. CR7 relied on his physicality and the human body can only go that hard for not that long. To his credit, he maximized it and is still playing, although he's efficiency has plummeted. While Leo understood this. So he evolved and adapts with time. Started as an explosive water strider-esque winger, then became a lethal false 9 that scores like a pure poacher and then choose to master in the art of the number 10. The dude walks on the pitch now and is still the most dangerous player, it's never been done and it won't be replicated. Because Leo is truly an anomaly, he's something else entirely. Penaldo does not have an argument to prove he is better than Messi. Does he dribble more? No, does he score more goals? Yes, but only because he is a striker and is only waiting in the box. Does he have a world cup? No.
i think messi is the better player, but i think ronaldo got i little unlucky in his career compared to messi, eg. jose + ten hag hated him and he grew up in poverty, messi had full support of a pep who loved him, a OP barca team (come on it was better than ronis madrid) and was born into a middle class family. I think messi is the better player, but i think roni would have been equal if not better if their circumstances swapped. Love them both though and i think we should stop arguing about who was better and just enjoy their genius
Somebody said, that Messi is the best, yes I agree, but if we don't have Ronaldo, no one's going to be able to get close to his level. Ronaldo is that one guy who tried so hard and made it, Messi is that one guy who tried so hard and made it and show the world that he is also blessed more than anyone else in football. I am a fan of Ronaldo, it is not painful knowing he is not the best, it is delightful knowing Ronaldo is one hell of a machine that goes against a GOAT. Messi won no diff, but I like Ronaldo.
