Rubbish. Using FOV calculators give you nothing that resemble what it looks like on a real race track. This calculator for single monitor would be like me sitting on the front bumper of my race car on the tracks I go to. No sense of speed and depth of perception with these calculators.
FYI... it's not specifically stated but @1:20 note that AC2 in the left margin is checked! Failure to check this will prevent a negative X value from being entered. It can still be tricky to get the values to go in. Tip: set the correct value and click 'Set' WITHOUT leaving the X: field. This should allow the value to be saved.
Wow, I have been on iRacing for 7 months and just dealt with my triples not lining up perfectly. I have messed around with all sorts of setting changes however, my problem was fixed by lining up the 3 monitors properly within Display Settings. I have never seen this mentioned on any other video. THANK YOU!
this worked great, except my game is not spanning all three screens. It displays windowed and you can enlarge it but its not hiding the taskbar, or filling the screens. any ideas? Thanks BTW for the video, has to pause it 1000x to try and follow you step by step, but we got it done. new sub, ty for the content
I have a qestion, see if you can help me. I have my primary samsung tv 50 4k resolution and I'll get 2 new monitor samsung g30 24, I want to know if i can use the extra 2 monitors in portrait view and keep tv in landscape mode, can some good soul help me?
Interesting, in real life, in a really good Formula Atlantic car the best lap numbers you can clock are in the 1:23.000 range, in my 1984 F1 car for three different Historic events I had the fastest overall lap of all cars there at a 1:19.00, Indy cars do 1:14.00 roughly and the overall fastest lap is a Ferrari F1 M. Schumacher car for a 1:04.00 by a 60 year old guy. I have always wondered abut SIM racing and the lap numbers they can pull being unrealistic. Just Saying.
Sorry for that contact at 45:56. I guessed the situation wrong, thinking you‘re moving to the left to let me pass. Luckily there was not too much happening.
Having a problem with servers kicking me off , I have downloaded all the requirements but I can't get real penalty to show in car menu and I have checked that it's installed a number of times , or course this is stopping me from joining any online races
My side monitors do not line up with the center... they have a slight zoom ... As the cockpit lines draw on to the side monitors the bottom of the frame is slightly lower and the top above the opening is slightly higher than the center monitor. So there is no way to adjust a monitor up or down to compensate. What setting would control that?
Thanks, but I couldn't follow what you were doing after the content manager I do have content manager for AC up and running very well and using CSP and SOL addons. After that you lost me. Plus have many tracks and cars loaded and running in VR. I don't plan to do online LFM anyway, but if I do, I will come back to your video. Take care.
I run windows at 3840x2160 on 3 32" displays but would like to run iRacing in 1920x1080 w/ 3 displays so my overall resolution in iR is 5760x1080. When I run iR with this resolution the entire screen is not taken up since Windows is running 3840x2160 on each display. Is there a way around this without running windows in the 1920x1080 mode in order to get the full screen to work?
