Hi there, short question, when u press the brake pedal with the open bleeder valve, should it go all the way down both axles? I have an issue on my car (e64) the pedal goes all the way down and pushes fluid with pressure on front axle but on the rear it doesn't go all the way down and also no pressure at the bleeder valve.......is this normal?
@@flyhacking5830 ofc I've got only one open at a time😅There is a bleeding routine u must follow from the scan tool, I ain't no noob I'm quite good at mechanics, but I've never encounter this problem so far therefore I'm trying to gather some info.
On the INPA home page which F function is used for the E46 ? It doesnt have the name beside any of them, on the CFGDAT i cant see it either to amend it ?
@@flyhacking5830 my last issue is that I cant seem to find a COM port but I have the LPT port for printing or something, i cant find any way to get access to the COM ports at all.
got an error when running the Cmd , saying that "the module "mscomctl.ocx" is not compatible wit the current version of windows running" i tried to get another mscomctl file from ocxme.com but with no success, any other things i can try?
@@flyhacking5830 Thank you for the quick reply. I must be doing something wrong. I'm following Evan Goyuk's tutorial for the e46 LED tail lights. I'm not getting any contact between the PC and car and I don't have the REVTOR NCS EPXERT Profile which he uses.
@@DriftingSquirrel you should have the revtor profile. Also, try connecting to your airbag module in inpa. If it doesn't connect, you need to solder pins 7 and 8 together on your cable
@@flyhacking5830 I have a rector profile yes, but not the full name like I said. Is it the same? My cable should have those pins already soldered, at least that's what they "sold me"
Hey Fly, Many Thanks for this. I could make ist work in ODB Mode. However it was not possible to switch to ADS. When lloking into the EDIABAS.ini I saw it is Version 7.xx. I think the ADS support was canceled after 6.xx. Any chance you have a earlier version with link as well? Many Thanks!!
If you check the thread to e46fanatics that I have linked in the description, there is a somewhat older version.. Why are you trying to switch to ADS when you can use an adapter? Although the adapter doesn't always work
@@flyhacking5830 Hey Thanks for your super fast response. I was using the data in "All BMW Tools" in your thread already. However in the Ediabas.ini it says Version 7.xx. I noticed it doesn't show ADS as an Option there as well. So the whole programm doesn't support I suppose. I tried moving the ADS drivers to the windows folders (32 & 64 bit) and so on but with no success. I always get DirectNT.sys couldn't be found and then some other failures after that. Do you have an older version further down the thread (which is quite long)? I'm trying to use ADS, as my car hast an ADS Port. It is an M52b28 swapped E30. Engine is supposed to be out of an E36. That's why I bought the do-it auto ADS Interface and an used ho laptop with serial port. With the data provided by the company I couldn't rund Inpas on it. It would always tell me the this isn't the right version for this windows. Even in compability mode and everything.. But as the manual is for XP I think this will leave me hardly any chance not to install XP on it 🙄
This is the most horrible tutorial video i have ever seen. you go to one of the folders, do nothing, move a .ocx file in the desktop (THAT HAS INEXPLICABLY BEEN THERE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO!!!) and then later you continue what you were doing in the folder. And you're constantly using the shortcut wizard instead of selecting "Send to desktop (as shortcut)" bloody hell!! I wish this video didn't exist so people didn't get so misguided!
I got the build done in 5 days, about 8-12 hour work days. Pulled the engine and threw everything on. I had been collecting parts for 6 months though so I had everything I needed
hi. i have an issue. i do all the steps, the inpa is working fine, but i dont have the "functional jobs" in the right panel when i choose my e83 car. (e83 x3 2007). i need to reinstal the program? or need to make a try in xp? thank you :)
hi, need some help. i have it installed, v5.0.0 on my e46 INPA can read the digital and analogue values, it can read in detail the DSC fault codes, but wont read the engine codes in detail. when i select s54 engine it says 'versions do not match. Malfunction possible' Any help would be appreciated
@@flyhacking5830 i have and moved onto the tool, however, its not reading any engine codes and it coming up blank....im pretty sure it should have reported some errors back. i can see all the DCS errors in detail when selecting DSC module
I have followed this guide step by step and everything went flawlessly until now when I try to connect to INPA or NCS EXPERT one says can't communicate whit modules the other vin is faulty
Try connecting to the airbag module with inpa. If it doesn't work, you need to solder pins 7 and 8 on your inpa cable. Additionally, if your car is a 323/328, you need to use jumpers on the underhood obd port
@@flyhacking5830 my car is a 2004 e60 530d. I soldered pin 7 and 8 together but still no connection possible even with the airbag module in inpa. I have one of those clear see through cables and the led only turns red, never green. Could it be a cable problem? The two circles in inpa battery and ignition are solid black though. I wouldn't want to buy another cable and it turns out the problem is somewhere else 😕
Hello I need this for E87 120d 2005. Do I need SP-Daten for that particular model(and if so where can I download it) or E46 should work? I need to make CAS allignment because I get 4A63 EWS error Btw I have INPA cable with white PCB with switch
I'm getting a VIN is faulty error message after I select the ecu in ncs expert. Do you have any idea what it can be? I tried win 10 64-bit and xp 32-bit. INPA works fine
FlyHacking I followed every step of ur vid and it works the program runs but when I connect on inpa the two green dots (battery) say off I’d like to erase it all and try it all over again but i don’t even know how to do that haha The program works tho all of them do I just can’t read my car so maybe I have the wrong USB port set up
