I'm missing the "Ports (COM & LPT)" from device manager, it also doesn't show "found new hardware" after installation? windows xp

Did you plug the cable into the car and computer?

FlyHacking i did not, haha. Does it matter which port? Iv’e got standard 16 pin by the dashboard and 20 pin by the engine. I’m very new at this, sorry

hi, need some help. i have it installed, v5.0.0 on my e46 INPA can read the digital and analogue values, it can read in detail the DSC fault codes, but wont read the engine codes in detail. when i select s54 engine it says 'versions do not match. Malfunction possible' Any help would be appreciated

The "versions do not match" error is perfectly fine. Just press ok

@@flyhacking5830 i have and moved onto the tool, however, its not reading any engine codes and it coming up blank....im pretty sure it should have reported some errors back. i can see all the DCS errors in detail when selecting DSC module

Is this included the Revtor's NCS Expert profile on NCS Expert? If i know good, these profile need to coding.

the command prompt cant seem to find the file called MSCOMCTL.OCX even though it is in the system32 folder and I typed it correctly

That step isn't necessary, just skip over it.

@@flyhacking5830 my last issue is that I cant seem to find a COM port but I have the LPT port for printing or something, i cant find any way to get access to the COM ports at all.
